It's the same old OV-10A-model. I made a new high-rez-template for it and this is a first skin. Decals are new. And some fakepilot-stuff to improve the model a bit is also added. Required screeenshot:

Hawker Hurricane IIIA 'Furacão' - SU Flight, Aeronáutica Militar, 1944 The Hawker Hurricane entered service with the Royal Air Force at the end of 1937 when No.111 Squadron re-equipped with the type at RAF Northolt. By late 1938 the production capacity for Hurricanes at the Hawker Siddeley Aircraft group of companies was sufficient not only to meet the needs of the RAF's ambitious expansion scheme but also sufficient to allow exports to Yugoslavia, South Africa, Romania, Persia, Belgium, Poland and Turkey. Belgium and Yugoslavia had both negotiated production licences but only a handful were produced by Avions Fairey in Belgium before the German invasion in May 1940 and in Yugoslavia the Zmaj factory managed to build 20 Hurricanes before the German invasion in April 1941. At the start of World War 2, Portugal was keen to both maintain it's neutrality and also bolster it's defences - recognising that the Portuguese mainland was of strategic importance as was it's island territories of Maderia and the Azores. Indeed, both the UK and Germany considered invading the islands but British diplomacy won the day in June 1940 when the UK formally asked for use of the Azores by invoking the Aliança Luso-Britânica (Anglo-Portuguese Alliance) of 1386 which is still the oldest alliance in the history in the world that is still in force. In return, Portugal asked for a wide variety of defence equipment from the UK including "100 modern monoplane fighter aircraft". With the UK facing a desperate struggle the Portuguese 'wish list' was largely unfulfilled until much later in the war but in December 1940 the British government agreed to supply 100 Hurricane fighters by the end of the following year. However, there was an urgent demand for Rolls-Royce Merlin engines for the RAF's day fighters and also for the Boulton & Paul Defiant and Bristol Beaufighter night fighters. In addition, RAF Bomber Command were about to go on the offensive with the Handley-Page Halifax having just entered service and the superlative Avro Lancaster and de Havilland Mosquito were both on the horizon. In February 1941 the British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, blocked the sale outright but Sydney Camm at Hawker considered that the Hurricane airframe could be adapted to take a different engine and Camm was already aware that Roy Fedden of the Bristol Engine Company had developed a modular engine installation or 'power egg' for the Bristol Hercules radial engine. Fedden and Camm quickly schemed the Hercules powered Hurricane Mk.III and instructed the Gloster Aircraft Company, who had been manufacturing Hurricanes for the RAF on behalf of its parent company since 1939, to slot in 250 Hurricane Mk.III's onto the Hucclecote production line. Whilst there was no Hurricane Mk.III prototype as such, the first two production aircraft were thoroughly tested by Gloster's chief test pilot Gerry Sayer and also by Bill Humble of Hawker's and both praised it's flying characteristics noting that "the aircraft is simple and easy to fly and has no apparent vices" although the stalling speed was 8 knots higher than a standard Hurricane. The first 100 Hurricane Mk.III's were crated and shipped to Portugal arriving at Santo Amaro in November 1941. After local assembly, they were flown to Ota Air Base and Sintra Air Base to eventually equip six day fighter squadrons of the Aeronáutica Militar (Army Aviation) although, at the time, these squadrons (typically, with 15 aircraft on strength) were confusingly classed as 'flights' with two-digit flight codes that were used to designate the squadron. 'SU' Flight were the first to be declared operational at Ota in April 1942 followed by 'MP' flight at Sintra. In Aeronáutica Militar service the Hurricane aircraft were locally known as the Furacão and remained in service even after the formation of the Força Aérea Portuguesa in 1952 and it was not until August 1954 that the Furacão finally passed from service. Raven's Hurricane anthology, including templates, can be found in SF1 downloads section.

The C-17 Globemaster lll Ah, the C-17 Globemaster lll, a massive aircraft that was developed to replace the C-141 Starlifter. Wait, hold up, this story sounds familiar. *checks notes*. While it's story is similar to the C-5 Galaxy's History you may be pleased to know there is a happy ending to an aircraft that has certainly made it's mark on aviation history. This video will quickly highlight the history of this massive aircraft. As always if you're interested in discussing more about what this aircraft is capable of, or other aircraft, please feel free to join us in the pub or simply comment below. Thank you for your time and please, enjoy the video.

I am glad that Detroit has Chief Craig and Mayor Duggan. They have been doing a great job from what I have seen. There has been vary little damage done in the city of Detroit. That is partly the police but I have also heard that the people of Detroit who are peacefully protesting have also been stopping the violent agitators from doing property damage. The people of Detroit are proud of their city again and they don't want some extremist rabble-rousers to tear it down. Some of the positive things that people have been doing have made my mother cry due to the emotions they invoke. I also thought what Mayor Woodfin of Birmingham, Alabama has done to quell violence by going out to personally meet with the protesters and take action to address their concerns shows the kind of leadership the nation needs. Below are some links that I thought I should share about some stuff in Michigan. News Article. it's unbeliveable!! There as a blurb on the news scroll on one of our local channels (KTLA 5) the bishop at that church 'simply couldn't believe what he was seeing' with prez twat. And watching my city burn, again ... Santa Monica was spared the lunacy in 92, but not this time. (I'm in a nice quite residential area just east of SM airport. there ain't nothing around us worth burning, fortunately) and when the virus spike hits ... karmic justice anyone?

The next spike we have especially after all this rioting and protesting in large crowds is going to be mind blowing. All this while the tweeter in chief takes a photo op at a church he doesn't go into and a bible he doesn't open without a single prayer for our country, people, or current struggles.

View File Madagascar, Southeast Africa (1977-2018) Madagascar, Southeast Africa (1977-2018) Terrain December 13th, 2017 (1st Release) by Menrva >For Strike Fighters 2: Europe, Recommended Full-5 Merged This is a complete remake of the AE terrain made by Deuces and Dave, further tweaked by Wrench. The entire map has been retargetized and extensively retiled; Mozambique is now a lush green jungle, not a barren desert as seen in the original. The Comoros and Mayotte islands now properly exist and are carefully populated by towns and airports. Numerous target areas have been added in order to expand playability, targets of opportunity and year range. This terrain features a fresh new 250m resolution heightmap (instead of the stock 500m resolution), allowing for greater details and precision in elevation changes; overall it provides the whole terrain with a better look. The terrain spans from May 30, 1977 (the beginning of the Mozambican Civil War) to December 31, 2018. Despite the given time frame, this terrain is not right for reproducing the Mozambican Civil War. Instead, the terrain is meant to pit the French Navy against the combined forces of Mozambique and Madagascar in a what if scenario where the Comoros and Mayotte islands are being threatened by the two Soviet-aligned countries. The French (Blue Side) only have four flyable airfields. Don't even try to fly Blue Side long-range bombers from said small airfields; I am providing a rather realistic representation of the area, where the French are tasked with the defence and patrol of the skies above the Comoros and Mayotte islands. Having SF2NA is a must, as I have enabled naval ops. If your mod's folder contains French ships and carriers, you'll see fleets being generated during single missions. Ground Objects are not included. It's up to the user to find and obtain anything that can be useful for the proposed terrain's scenario. >Credits (in no particular order): -Deuces and Dave, who had the idea of recreating such a gorgeous environment in the Strike Fighters world. -Wrench, who kindly allowed me to improve upon his work by giving me a blank cheque and trusting my capabilities. Thank you, sir! -swambast, who provided me with invaluable help in tracking and fixing common and uncommon bugs. -gerwin, whose TFDtool has proved to be essential in today's terrain making. If the terrain is pretty accurate to RL it's also because of him. I included his very nice Airfield 7+8 Addon Pack, too. -mue, for the improved shaders he made, which I have included and reworked for the terrain, and for the tools he made for SF2 modding. -luk1978, for the waternormal bitmap he shared at the SF2 screenshots thread. Your mods are very interesting! -MigBuster, I have included some of his great hi-res textures for runways. -Stary, for the old .TOD mod which adds trees on this terrain's tileset. -Gepard, for his great tutorials about terrain making, in the SF1 Knowledge Base at CombatACE. It's a gold mine! -tiopilotos and Stratos, who supported me during the terrain's development. Thank you, guys! -krfrge, who has produced a tutorial for recreating SF2-like planning maps, which prompted me to work on templates and my own high quality planning maps. Thank you very much! -comrpnt, for his Approach and Airfield Lighting Pack mod packages for SF1 series, which I reworked and included. Because the original terrain was born from Deuces and Dave, and was later tweaked by Wrench, I included the ReadMe files from the original packages, to the end of giving proper credit to everyone involved directly or not. >Disclaimer: This is a freeware; yet it can be redistributed ONLY in other CombatACE mods/mod packages. Any changes to the terrain package's files and/or any copy-and-paste attempts of their contents are NOT authorized if you plan to release them in other mods. But permission might be granted to those who request it to me at CombatACE. This terrain may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions. >My Terrain Packages: NovaLogic Terrains Outer Space Terrains Hawaii, Central Pacific (1959-2028) Timor, North Oceania (1950-2018) Ecuador, Northwest South America (1981-1998) Texas, American South Central (1968-2018) Sweden, Baltic Rim (2004-2018) Sweden, Baltic Rim (1952-1994) Libya, Central Mediterranean (1980-2011) Madagascar, Southeast Africa (1977-2018) Iraq, Western Asia (2003-2018) Alaska, Bering Strait (1955-2018) Iraq, Western Asia (1980-2003) >My Miscellaneous Packages: Ace Combat Nations Nations & Medals Expansion Speech Enhancement Wings Over World Menu Screens realSKY Environment Submitter Menrva Submitted 12/13/2017 Category Full Terrains

Damn. I'll take a look at it. EDIT: It has been fixed, it was a stupid bug. As soon as the package is approved, re-download and enjoy.

In Viet Nam, and any theater, the failure of the AIM-9B as anything more than a tactic to induce NVA to turn into my guns is prevelent...unless a US aircraft is in the picture. I have often given the AIM-9B a 5-second lock-on count to really have a track on the target, only to have my quarry turn as soon as I fire it, thus defeating it. The unreliability of the 9B (and Shafir-1) has lead to many friendly fire incidents, yet very very few NME kills. For some unknown reason, the 9B will not track NMEs, but will indiscriminately destroy friendlies without fail. It has come to the point where I will carry Falcons instead because, even though it is not a "close in weapon", I can launch and know I can get that commie-tard 80% of the time compared to 0% of the 9B. I hereby accept the responsibility for downing an American aircraft's crew, even as the fate of the crew is unknown to me. My sincere condolences to the family, if the crew was lost, and will accept court-martial with only a guilty plea. The unreliability of the AIM-9B Sidewinder has rendered me a murderer of friendly airmen, even without my direct motive to do so. SUXORS and my campaign is over.
