8 pointsSEPECAT Jaguar FGR.3's - No.45 and No.58 Squadrons, RAF Strike Command, 1988 In 1974 a cancelled export order for 35 Jaguar Internationals left the SEPECAT consortium with a headache as many 'long lead' items had already been ordered and assembly was already underway on the first 12 airframes. At this time the RAF were keen to order more Jaguars to form a second wing of No.38 Group, RAF Strike Command and, with the delays in the Tornado production programme meaning a shortage of work at Warton, BAC pushed the Labour government into accepting a deal for all 35 aircraft. Consideration was given to standardising the aircraft to match the RAF's GR.1 force but the uprated Adour engines and different avionics saw the aircraft designated Jaguar FGR.3. Entering service in late 1976 the Jaguar FGR.3's served with just two squadrons, No.45 and No.58 who had previously operated the Hunter F.6 and FGA.9 to provide a pool of ground-attack pilots for the Jaguar force. The FGR.3's uprated Adour engines and early introduction of overwing missile rails made them something of an elite element in the RAF's Jaguar force and they were deployed to many hot-spots around the world until their somewhat premature retirement in 2001. This aircraft mod represents a fictional evolution/upgrade of the Mikoyan-Gurevich's Ye-8 experimental fighter. There are several wing designs, systems and weapons that were under experiment during the 60-70-s though these are not actual replications of them and the pits are pure fictional using equipment/instruments of that given time frame. This package comes with 1 or 2 skin set for each variant, with decals for Soviet aircraft. This model is meant for SF2 games only. Install is the regular dropping the contents in their respective places. In case you have the previous Ye-8/M pack the contents of the Effects, Decals, Guns and Pilot folders not need to be copied over. Please note: The model might gets heavy on FPS in large formations on weaker machines, so if required, either resize skin files or use lower lod "_nd" as lod1. New weapons are provided - some type specific - beside these the model uses the general Soviet weapons. Be aware - In the 1970's and later when AA-8 can be selected, manually double loadout of these can happen. Make sure to read the manual included with the package. - - - - - Creators of these Aircraft mods as members of CombatAce site: Aircraft 3d work: Logan4 Cockpit 3d work: Logan4 Aircraft FM: Gepard, Cliff7600, Logan4 Aircraft avionics: Cliff7600, logan4 Skin files and decals: Gepard, logan4 Cockpit files: Logan4, Cliff7600 There are certain texture sections that were borrowed from the Su-17 project which were originally created by Stary Thanks for 76.IAP-Blackbird and Flogger23 for the original KS-3 seat and KKR-1 pod, a modified version of them used in the pack. Big thanks to members of CombatAce for helping and answering our questions and in sorting out some of the issues we got while creating this mod. Modding and distribution of files are allowed and limited according to the CombatAce Freeware Licensing agreement. -

Third Wire MiG-23 fighters made flyable & updated for SF2 MiG-23M, MiG-23M (85), MiG-23MF, MiG-23ML, MiG-23MLA, MiG-23MLD, MiG-23MLD (Soviet-Afgan War), MiG-23MLDe, MiG-23P, MiG-23P (82), MiG-23MS This is a follow on from my "Third Wire MiG-23MLD updated & flyable for SF2" mod and completely supersedes it. - All are flyable with a modified version of Stary's MLD cockpit/ avionics with corrections by Crusader and myself. There are slightly different cockpits/ gunsights depending on the model of aircraft. - Wing spoilers are now working as they were always there just not activated. Thanks again Crusader! - Opening Canopy. - KM-1 Ejection seats added. Grey on most but black for Mig-23MLDe, MiG-23P and MiG-23P (82). - Loadouts enhanced and corrected. Some Afghanistan specific ones added. Use of Kh-25M air-to-surface missile and datalink pod added. - Missile positions corrected, especially for the AA-8. - Single missile rail for the fuselage AA-8. - Improved/ corrected FM. - Improved engine sound and afterburner effect. - All Mig-23 have an ACM/ boresight radar mode but it is set straight ahead along the gunsight and does not move/ scan. The MLD and P (82) have an ACM/ boresight mode that scans vertically like the F-16 or F-15 etc. - MLD, MLDe and P (82) have KDS-23 countermeasure dispenser installed in the centreline drop tank pylon. This is a 12 shot chaff/ flare countermeasure dispenser that could be used once the drop tank had been jettisoned. - MLD Leading edge flaps automatically deploy during maneuvering as they did on the MLD with the type 3 wing. - MLD Primary and secondary roles expanded to reflect the evolution of the MLD into a more multi role fighter platform. - Removed ECM jammer from MLD. - Radar data and performance is corrected from the S-23MLA radar to the S-23MLA-II radar for the MLD. - Most if not all the exported and Warsaw pack ML aircraft were actually MLA models, this is an error in most publications, model kits and flight sims alike and has only been corrected in recent publications. The ML was operated by the Soviet airforce and by the time the export models were being built the production line had switched to the MLA. This is now corrected in the game. All skins updated with cockpit textures and various other minor details. - Grey undersides on Soviet Camouflage skins changed from grey to blue/ grey. Additional dark green added in to the Soviet camouflage of later model MiG-23s. Lots of other texture corrections done. - Skins added for Iraqi, Syria (Late), Polish camouflage, Egypt, North Korea, Libya, Soviet desert (in Afghanistan) and Soviet Afghanistan veterans. - Corrections to decal size and/ or positions on various skins. - Additional MiG-23MLDe variant created. This is the Syrian and Libian specific export model of the MLD which did not have the IFF or aerodynamic enhancements (vortex generators) of the Soviet MLD and had a slightly downgraded radar. Syrian made countermeasure dispensers installed on either side of the tail fin. - Additional MiG-23P (82) variant created. This is the Soviet P model that was upgraded to the same standard as the MLD but without the aerodynamic enhancements. - Additional MiG-23M (85) variant created. This is a few squadrons of the Soviet M model that had its IFF upgraded some time between 1978 and the early 90's (Same nose IFF antenna as the MLD and P (82). - Additional MiG-23MLD (Soviet-Afgan War) variant created. This is the Soviet MLD but reflects the specific loadouts, modifications, countermeasures and markings of the MLD models that served in the Soviet Afgan war. - Updated weapons from the RSSW 099 mod. To Install: 1, Delete ALL previous TW MiG-23 mods. 2, Unpack and drop the 2 parts of this download into your main mods folder. 3, You MUST override when prompted. Credits: - ThirdWire. - Crusader. - Stary. - Snailman. - Eburger68. - Paladrian. - Svetlin - Cocas CombatAce fair agreement applies. Enjoy, Dan (dtmdragon). -
1 pointStill in progress. Yes, we have spent years working on this and continue to do so. In full transparency, we underestimated the lack of interest and community support/contributions so expenses have sky rocketed and delays elongated due to heavy reliance on outsourcing.

This aircraft mod represents Dassault's what-if Mirage 4000M naval figthter and its dual seat M2 variant in the French Navy service. This package comes with 2 skin sets for each variant, 2 squadron specific for M (15 planes), and 2 sets for single squadron (6 planes) for M2. This model is meant for SF2 games only, SF1 variants will be uploaded at the SF1 section. Install is the regular dropping the contents in their respective places. In case you have the previous variants you can skip the overwrite prompt of weapons, effects and flight folder contents as those items are identical. Please note: The model can be quite heavy on FPS in large formations on weaker machines, so if required, either resize skin files or use lower lod(_nd) as lod1. The model uses the general french weapons, either as part of weapon packs or the Mirage 2000 family. Important: The M2 variant comes with 2 types of cockpit, the basic setup will use a simple pit that has only the pilots cabin instrumented. The other is a fully modeled front and rear compartment, in which you want to fly you should activate the proper line in the AC's.ini file. CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000M2_Cockpit.ini <---- basic setup ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000M2_Cockpit_full1.ini <------ front seat ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000M2_Cockpit_full2.ini <------ rear seat Be aware - the piloting seat position can not be changed during/in game, so chose wisely! Make sure to read the manual included with the package. ---------------------- Creators of these Aircraft mods as members of CombatAce site: Original 3D work: Cocas Aircraft 3d update and additional changes: Logan4 Cockpit 3d work: Logan4 Aircraft FM: Cliff7600 Aircraft avionics: Loborojo, Cliff7600, logan4 Skin files and decals: Flogger23, Cliff7600, logan4, loborojo Cockpit files: Logan4, Cliff7600 Thanks to Crusader for additional brochure files Big thanks to members of CombatAce for helping and answering our questions and in sorting out some of the issues we got while creating this mod. 1 pointHey, uuh... I haven't been using the YAP Okinawa/Japan. I've using yours. The YAP one doesn't load right, on my machine anyway. When I get to Japan its messed up. I attach some pics with the loop. Incidently I just figured out why I can sometimes take screenshots and other times not. If I use the "Cntrl-'H'" feature before taking a PrtScn it won't work. I didn't try turning off the HUD data from the 'Options' Screen yet. I am purplexed as why some planes get the Camera lenses on the fuselage and some Mustangs don't.

1 pointVeltro2K, if you wanna make it, consider another version without wing tip tanks, as the Marines used then in Korea as shore based and they don´t have the tanks. Please consider this. Thanks!!!!:)
