Article From the Guardian Hearing the news of his death this morning was a shock. I mean get that he lived a long life but still it was a shock to see the news. Allow me to share with you a couple of fond memories. Back in '96 I got a chance to fly for the first time with the EAA's Young Eagle program of which hew as an honorary member. That program really fueled my love for aviation. Sadly I never went to college and flew in the air force; however, my love of aviation has never diminished. Even got a chance to interview him; however, I never published his interview here because he didn't time to answer a lot of the questions and most of the questions could be answered by reading his book. But I do remember when his answer to one question though about what he felt when he broke the sound barrier and his reply was "A sense of accomplishment". I have some pics of that certificate I got back in '96. I flew that small plane for all 10 seconds :) went down, went up, turned left, turned right, a total of 10 inches in either direction lol. The pilot said "you sure that's all you wanted to do?" Me: "yup I'm good".

Thank you gentlemen. The flight characteristics are due entirely to Ojcar's FM. My planes wouldn't be as nice without his help. I have started on an early tail plane version and a two gun version. There is a surprising amount of work involved for such minor changes. I'll have to change all four LODs for each version, then make new skins. For the two gun version, I'll need to make a new cockpit as well. Ojcar will also have to tweak the FMs. I can't predict how long it will take.

Yes. I think it will be possible. Maybe not all features of 'real' display will be present (same as in any other cockpit we can not simulate all gauges/displays etc) Of course, it will need quite a new and different approach. Little challenging, but might be fun making it.

Use as less decals as possible. (only for numbers) Squadron Markings i prefer to paint on texture instead of using decals..

I would love to make my first try at an airplane (drone) the Bayraktar BT2, But before I start would it be possible to make the display information like this. as you all know there isn't any cockpit. if the answer is yes I would like someone to help me with it after I complete the project.

That is promising, then I will start to gather all the information I need to add it to my do list. Thank you, gentlemen, for your feedback.

I have uploaded the Sopwith Triplane. Ojcar took the time from his very busy schedule to tweak the FM. I want to thank him for that. The plane has two skins, one for the French and one for the British, with a full set of decals. I spent some time tweaking the cockpit and skins. I also improved the landing gear animations.

Yeah, one reason I never did skins for it...badly mapped...ish...not to disrespect creator...(ive done it too lol) also why I decided to remap the Marcs SU-27 cos of faulty mapping.

I remember the YAP Team has created something like that with its X-47 mod from the "Strait of Hormuz" (WoV) campaign...

MT-LB was a wide family of armoured vehicles. From artillery recon vehicle, anti-tank-gun pulling device, SAM or ATGM carrier and so on and so on and so on. It was a maid of all work. The diverence between MT-LB and MT-LBu was the number of wheels. MT-LBu had had 7 wheels, MT-LB only 6. Here a link to pictures of some MTLBu versions: http://www.militaertechnik-der-nva.de/Bestimmungsbuch/5gepKetFhrmitTurm/53/MT-LBu/532.html And here MT-LB: http://www.militaertechnik-der-nva.de/Bestimmungsbuch/5gepKetFhrmitTurm/53/53.html

When it come on fidelity, smoothness and precision, no one beat Stephen1918!!!! All of his models are flawless in every small detail and run smoothie. Hats off man!!!!!!

Good job, Stephen1918 - as with all your models it worked well right out of the box! Flying it seems a little tail-heavy, however, so maybe adding some extra weight to the nose (i.e, a second Vickers Mk.2) might help? Only kidding!
