A couple of "We wanted those but it wasn't meant to be" Portuguese F-5E Tiger II. If i got the story right, they were meant to replace F-86s, and the Portuguese Air Force even had T-38s to begin training, but A-7s were adquired instead for maritime strike, since NATO wise the Spanish Air Force and USAF were meant to provide air defense for the whole peninsula with the Portuguese being responsible for naval interdiction. Spanish F-4E. Our Air Force wanted these, but we ended up with surplus F-4Cs in real life because we are cheap. A much shorter story there.

Well you know me, I am always looking forward and ready for new adventures. LOL I am thinking of financing a new project, again, a Russian plane, but a new one this time, the YAK-130. I asked around and I am waiting for an answer; if the team is ready and the price is right maybe I'll make it happen.. Please tell me what do you think and what plane did you have in YOUR mind it should be build.

There's an interesting little Feature that OBD snuck into BHaH II. #77 - WOFF / OBD Theater now extends to the whole of the mapped region, as opposed to just the WW1 campaign region - for possible future expansions. Well, now. Isn't that a fun little tidbit.

Hi all just a few tips IF you use the TAC display.. If you find the TAC display too large you can resize it by going into C:\Users\(your name)\AppData\Roaming\OBD_Games\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields and finding the ViewUI.xml file (Backup 1st). Right click and open with Notepad, Sroll down near the bottom until you find </HUDVsiMetric> <TacticalDisplay BGIMage="tactical_display.dds" BGPos="0 0" BGSize="512 512" BGScale="0.30" BackColor="0x1f0000FF" Mode="0"/> <TacticalDisplayMetric BGIMage="tactical_display.dds" BGPos="0 0" BGSize="512 512" BGScale="0.30" BackColor="0x1f0000FF" Mode="0"/> And change the BGscale= from 0.30 to 0.25 or even 0.20 if you like on BOTH lines,it'll make your Tac display smaller Save and exit...EDITED (Thanks POL) make sure filetype is set to *.* first in notepad, then save as ViewUi.xml otherwise it will save it with .txt on the end which won't work When on the main flight screen Shift+T Turns TAC On/Off It (Can be dragged if required to anywhere on the screen if required with the mouse button) pressing T will toggle between aircraft, structures, airfields ect Shift+D toggles messages on screen and CTRL+D will give you more advice ie (when to turn on engines ect) Hope this helps any newbies or even old heads. Regards

Would love to hear everybody's first impressions once they get WOFF: BHaH II downloaded, installed, and up and flying. This isn't a technical thread but more a how to survive in the unfriendly skies thread. My first advice is that later in the war, at the beginning of the really big dogfights, it's best to hang on the outside edges of the furball and pick off anyone either attempting to leave (because they are damaged, low on ammo, etc) or just off on their own a bit. With so many aircraft all bunched up in a small area, the chances of getting hit by enemy fire, friendly fire, or even mid-air collisions are at their highest. It can get VERY hectic and it's impossible to keep a full 360 degrees of awareness at all times. This is especially true when wearing goggles (optional to turn on or off in the Workshop), which can get covered in dirt, blood, rain and cracked. The fights will spread out sooner or later. Sometimes it can take a little bit. In the meantime, hang around the edges on the side that enemy aircraft are most likely to retreat to in order to pick off stragglers and novices. It's not the bravest move, but you'll live longer.

Good tip, thank you for sharing it. I haven't played for awhile so was thinking of using the TAC and being able to resize it is great.

Pilots can be taken forward as mentioned, and sure if you have custom skins they will work still as well. HTH WM

Yes they are the same, and before you even do the tests - BH&HII will have slightly lower FPS as you get nothing for nothing. In other words you cannot have better graphics, better AI, better AC, and animations for all AI and player, and not incur a performance drop. If only it were so. WM

"...where to set the time for the missile to open the fins?" - right above the OK and CANCEL buttons in the lower right corner of the editor screen there is a section called Release animation. There you have the animation ID number, Time (sec) - which I believe controls how long the animation is performed in seconds and Delay (sec) - this is the delay in seconds after drop/launch when the animation starts.
