9 pointsYes. Have a few on the table. Yes, in fact, 5 more squadrons need to be finished. The reason I made greys first...(mostly) 1500? well, that is a short list then... Meanwhile... 'Peace' after Vietnam. Most of the units were deployed in Vietnam, and are covered there - but still, a few more colorful years and then slowly losing saturation. 2 pointsThis is a very cool looking vehicle, thanks for finding this. Since it fires to the rear, it couldn't be used as a tank in First Eagles, but it might be used as a truck or as a static prop. Or maybe for AA...

2 pointsIf you are looking for an idea about a widely used vehicle during russian-polish-war how about the "tatshanka". It was used by the soviets and the polish. The polish used it till 1939. And there is the modern version of an old russian war song about this charriot.

2 pointsI was thinking of keeping it conventional missile. But you can alter the data file and make it Nuclear missile. I think. But it's too early to decide. It's all the way down on my to do list.

1 pointi appreciate this. my late father in law was with this unit i believe at around this time. GIMPs free ya know ive always wanted to do some low viz TPS birds for the fleet myself. but for me they are somewhere around 989 on a list of 1500 things to do. hoping you dont get burnt out on the SLUF after the full color squadrons, as lo viz would be nice. but it can get tiring going down the rabbit hole researching and creating so i understand if it doesnt happen

1 pointEye Candy or not, it's a beauty. So many years ago, this model introduced a wide-eyed country kid (masquerading as an adult) to places in the world that he'd only read about in books. Like so many people, I was saddened to see them retired. But at least here, she lives and flies again. Thank You.

1 pointIn mid 70's some structural cracks were found on the RAAF Mirage III fleet, altough a crash program was devised to fix the problem, the Australian goverment decided to buy a stopgap solution, purchasing 26 Mirage F.1 directly from France, the planes were really liked by its pilot and soldiered with the RAAF until year 2000 with some modernization programs in the meantime, surviving the Mirage III for a long shot and also flying along the F/A-18A that was choosen to replace the Mirages. Why the odd number you will ask, the first 24 planes including 2 two seaters were designated for squadron use, and two single seaters were keep by the Aircraft Reasearch and Development Unit in order to devise some specific solutions tailored specifically to thew RAAF, including modified ECM pods, flare launchers and some speficic engine changes. The ARDU F.1's were some of the last to be retired of operational use when they tested some self defense suits that were then installed on the RAAF Hornets. Of course during their ARDU service the two F.1's used the infamous Fanta Can scheme that made the planes a welcome sight for plane spotters and plastic modellers around the world. Oustanding skin work by my good friend ValAstur!
