4 pointsOver a year passed since this mod was released and I still enjoy it like the first day thanks to the wide variety of planes to fly there. Thanks to all involved in the project! The only thing I added to my install was French and Italian speech for those nations, just to have more immersion when flying for those countries. I took them from here in combatace:

2 pointsYou might want to check my Speech Enhancement mod, in there I include other languages (including Italian, but no French) with correct or mostly correct dubbing. The mod you linked adds mostly random phrases in such languages, as such it is only for immersion and far from being correct for native speakers (I'm Italian BTW). As such, I won't include such random dubbing in ODS for quality consistency. Thank you for the positive comment! They are a rarity these days, so we're glad to hear others are enjoying our hard work! Take care.

1 pointFor the second part of your question it is possible to strike buildings and bridges and the like. You just have to have it randomly selected. However... If my mind serves me correctly you can select that through the MIssion Editor. You can select whatever target (building, jeep, etc.) in that target area, and the mission will allow you to hit that target with bombs, or whatever.

1 pointthe funniest thing to me is how mission creep is going to make the F-15EX look bad. it was first proposed for one thing its original purpose was to replace the Eagles in Air National Guard units. all of those units have an air soveriegnty mission : they are the first called when someone gets highjacked, an airliner is in distress, someone is purposefully (or even accidentally) violating a no go zone, and when Russia (and one day China) wants to fly some large aircraft at the edge of our airspace. you dont need stealth to be the night watchman of your own airspace. and for anyone misbehaving, yellow bands visible off pylons are a greater incentive to get your act straight than a closed weapons bay. but it would defeat alot of arguements previously made on many topics by the brass to Congress and the public. so the optionally two seated Eagle will give the ANG units new missions to cover down on plus the fastest way to do it was to base off the latest model currently in production, which was the QA iirc. there hasnt been a single seater Eagle built probably since the Obama administration. my final take on it, is not replacing an F-4 with a P-40. its realizing you dont need to daily drive your 68 Camaro anymore, and getting a 22 Camaro. more bells and whistles, less time under the hood to keep it running (plus under warranty) and realistically about the same performance as when the original came off the line. yeah it will be more expensive (direct cost or converting 1968 dollars to 2022 dollars) but everything is over time. and while not an F-35 (or22) hater, you do need different tools for some jobs.

1 pointThe plan is to replace F-22 with NGAD and prototypes have already flown according to the USAF....they intend to keep F-22A around till that comes in (2030s maybe) Politicians cancelled F-22 and now they realize the mistake and numbers are needed F-35 will have to pick up any slack. Likewise the small F-15EX buy which only exists thanks to politics (the USAF clearly didn't want it) had to be justified to replace worn out F-15Cs although luckily for some of them they are already moving to F-35. The F-15EX unit cost looks horrendous for what you get and there are major changes compared to the other F-15CDEs they use.

1 pointSergeant Kenneth Hardie 6 Squadron RFC Abeele airfield BE2c 02/10/1915 Kenneth arose sheepishly, moved towards the entrance to his tent and opened it up. He was greeted with a glorious sunrise and virtually cloudless blue skies. "That's more like it!" he said to no-one in particular. Following breakfast, Major Shephard took a briefing and explained that the allied offensive around Loos and Vimy Ridge was continuing and all our efforts would be supporting the push. To that end, the squadron would be mounting multiple sorties per day. This morning's jaunt would be to the lines near Ypres to recon the enemy positions and spot any attempt to move forces from there down towards Loos. Kenneth could feel the adrenaline building as he sat in his BE2c as the engine ticked over. Captain Barnard loaded up his Lewis gun and put the spare drums away. A few moments later they were airborne and climbing away. Two Fees, two other BE2s and a Bristol Scout made up the rest of the flight. As they climbed and moved away, Kenneth saw straight away that the BE simply couldn't keep up with the Fees and Scout who fairly raced away. Kenneth formed up with the other BE2s flown by Sergeants Wimund and Barnes. It was a glorious autumn morning and yesterday's rain had cleared the air, so visibility was excellent. The front loomed up ahead of Kenneth as he reached 8000 feet. Flak bursts told Kenneth he'd reached the lines and Captain Barnard started getting his camera ready. The recon went well, eventually Captain Barnard signalled for Kenneth to take the aircraft down. He pointed down towards the ground and Kenneth looked over the side. He caught sight of a long convoy of lorries moving towards the enemy positions. Captain Barnard got his Cooper bombs ready. Kenneth swung the BE around and levelled out along the road. Flak was booming all around but he held his nerve. Barnard threw the bombs down at regular intervals and Kenneth swung the aircraft so the results could be seen. They clearly saw several of the enemy transports in flames and some had come off the road. Kenneth climbed back up and formed up with the others. The Fees had also closed in and together they headed home. Over the next days, Kenneth flew similar sorties, recons around Loos, attacks on Lens railyard and Houplin airfield as well as attacks on the enemy lines themselves. Barnard was clearly an old hand and didn't bat an eyelid at the flak bursts their exploits brought. If he was nervous, Kenneth got used to them too. On one occasion Barnard tapped Kenneth on the head and pointed directly up. Kenneth looked up and saw three enemy aircraft some way above them. They were Aviatiks thankfully, not Eindeckers. With two sorties each day, Kenneth was tired by the evening but spent time in the Sergeant's Mess. He got on well with all of them but particularly with Jem Barnes. The two Scots talked endlessly about their respective areas. Jem had worked on Aberdeen docks prewar and was an avid climber. With Kenneth coming from Fort William he obviously had an interest in the mountains too. The pair promised to meet up after the war and spend time amongst the Monros. By the middle of the second week in October the weather had changed again. Winds and rain made the sorties far more trying. Kenneth however took it all in his stride. He and Barnard were proving a formidable partnership with the Observer's experience coupled with Kenneth's flying skills. Major Shephard was very pleased with Kenneth's performance over those first two weeks. By 15th October, Kenneth already had more than 20 sorties and 25+ hours in the logbook and was hungry for more.

1 pointThere is so much irony to the new F-15 acquisitions by the USAF. 1st: The F-15A was the "hi" fighter in the "hi-lo" mix, meaning it cost too much to replace the F-4 with just F-15s, so the USAF was forced to buy a mix of F-15s and F-16s to get the number of aircraft it wanted. The F-15 was very expensive, only the F-14 cost more. Unlike the F-4, the F-15 was only purchased by a handful of foreign countries due to its high cost. Now, in a world where 5th gen fighters are far more expensive, the F-15 has become the "lo" part of the "hi-lo" mix. 2nd: The F-22 was the replacement for the F-15. However, the extremely high cost of production versus the lack of a credible threat restricted production to less than 200 aircraft. 1/4 the number desired to replace air superiority F-15Cs. With budget growing ever tighter, there is not enough money to justify operating and maintaining such a small number of aircraft compared to the other types in service. So, the F-22 will be retired to cut costs. Its replacement is the F-15. I suspect that this is the first time in history that an aircraft has replaced its replacement, especially considering how old the original design is. Imagine bringing back and upgraded P-40 to replace the F-4, that is the kind of time frame we are talking about with using an updated 1970s Eagle to replace the 2000s F-22.

1 pointNo need to apologize. I'm sure there are faults and errors in. Sometimes there is very little information available, sometimes it's typos, sometimes it's bad references. Even in the pictures above are 2 or 3 errors (I already fixed those). But I try to be precise. Here's another case for "very little information" and therefor maybe faulty. Seem like the paintjob for the next deployment of VA-112 (18. Nov. '67 to 28. Jun. '68) is exactly the same, but I also have a photo with a bright yellow stripe, which doesn't make any sense and where the color is probably not changed from the former deployment (with Modex 2xx = bright yellow). Those are the first-world-problems I encounter while doing this. ;) VA-112 (Bombing) Broncos, 11/1966 - 6/1967, USS Kitty Hawk, A-4C

1 pointThe TA-152H model was very good but it had those lines that did not match me, many 3-view profiles that do not resemble the models in the photographs, so I looked for a more accurate profile and according to the photographs and decided after modify the original model several times, create a new fuselage and wings, in this case it is the top unfinished painting of the image.
