2 pointsThese are unused but working BlendOp options as found inside the GraphicsEngineDX10.dll: MODULATE_AND_ADD_SRC MODULATE_AND_ADD_DST MODULATE_MUL_2 MODULATE_INV_SRC MODULATE_INV_DST My discovery was dictated by my hunger of finding a proper solution to the DTV filter which does not work properly in-game with night environments, especially with the much darker nights of my realSKY mod. Below you'll find a comparison between stock filter material data and the custom one using another BlendOp: Stock MODULATE, day Stock MODULATE, night Unused MODULATE_MUL_2, day Unused MODULATE_MUL_2, night The main drawback of MODULATE_MUL_2 is that it doubles the MODULATE option, so at day the image is lightened too much than the stock MODULATE. Mind you, the screenshots were taken with the realSKY mod on Unlimited settings, so the post processing effect adds bloom to already bright areas. However, at night MODULATE_MUL_2 brings a big improvement as you can finally see the ground and its objects more easily. PS: Please admins, pin this topic. The unused BlendOps I found work just fine, and may be useful to other modders willing to experiment with them.

1 pointJust sharing the pilot position for for Geezer "RAF Euro Pilot Oxy" to be used with the beautifull Spitfires released by Cliff7600. The original aircraft data ini position worked fine to me in all Spitfires, but if you had facing some problem with this position using Geezer pilot in those Spits you could try this: Open your "Aircraft data ini" file and find the name "Crew", them you must to exchange two (2) lines manually. // Crew --------------------------------------------------------- [Pilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName=RAF Euro Pilot Oxy <------------------------------------ You must add this line SetCockpitPosition=TRUE Position=0.00,-1.43,0.43 <------------------------------------ You must add this line This position will work in all "Aircraft data ini" of those Spitfires released recently by Cliff7600

Just like my former mod, this is a shader that can change the original color of the game to make it close to the color of Green Phosphor Image Intensifier Tubes in reality. This one is more like AVS6/9 NOD usded by USAF during 1990s-2000s And Of course, it will also really brighten the brightness of the picture, highly recommond you guys use it with Realsky Environment Mod. =========================================================================================== Usage/ Read Me!!!!!: 1.put [TWPOSTPROCESS.FX] into your SF2's Flight folder【Back up recommonded】; 2.check your graphics option and make sure Effects Detail choosed for Unlimited; 3.make sure your Mission Start Time choosed for Night; 4.fly and control the night! This is a shader ,so even in day time the night vision effect will trun on,delete [TWPOSTPROCESS.FX] to return default. -

1 pointHello everyone! The project with MiG-19s and J-6s / F-6s has taken me longer than I thought. All of them are updated with new effects and changes to the weapons and other items in data ini files. An exported version of J-6C "Farmer-C" is renamed to F-6C "Farmer-C" for Egypt. The next version with updated MiG-15s / 17s / 19s and J-6s / F-6s will be released soon. Eagle114th

You can use skins for Sop1B2 after rename "SOP1A2-N" files to "SOP1B2-N" files. I tried to add some "photorealistic" textures for more impressive image of this aircraft. 1 pointSitRep: I'm working on the fck big airbase Saporoschje. Its giant. I have finished the southern part so far. The screenshot shows how big this base is in contrast to what i have already done. Funny fact to Saporoschje. There was a big automotive factory there. In the 1970th the soviets bought the licence to built FIAT cars, which were manufactured under the designation LADA. To avoid further licence fees the Saporoschje car development team got the task to redesign a FIAT into a own soviet car. The FIATs had had frontal engine and rear drive. In Saporoschje they made the decision to built in the engine in the rear too. But there was not enough space in the rear. Gearbox and engine did not fit. What do? An inginous designer had the idea. "Lets revers the gearbox!" And so they did and it fits perfectly. One flaw was, that the gears at the gear lever were now revers too. The first gear was not left front as in a normal car, but right rear! Okay. You can do it so, but its rubbish! For the soviet citizens and the eastern block car drivers it was good enough. For the rest of the world it was nonsens. The car, called "Sapo" had had a very interesting handling because it was very tail heavy, or with other words it was dangerous for the driver, especially when the streets were wet. I know from what I'm talking about. My parents had had one of this "Sapos". Spinning while driving through a curve was not seldom and for me as Kid very exciting. To solve the problem, we found out, it was helpfull to load sandbags in the trunk, which was located in the front of the car. So the tail heaviness was tempered and the handling of the car was extremly improved. And so it looked: Link to the picture source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/SAS-966#/media/Datei:ZAZ-966_front_view.jpg

SF2 Su-24 Fencers This mod package contains a collection of Su-24 Fencers, all converted and updated to SF2 standards. Included in the package are all the weapons, sounds, pilots, and seats that you will need to install and use any of the aircraft in this package. These aircraft can be used in SF2, SF2E, SF2V, or SF2I. To install and use them, you should ensure that your SF2 installation is patched to at least the Dec2009 patch level. See below for installation instructions. Those familiar with Lindr2's Su-24 Fencer Pack for SFP1 will rightly recognize that this updated package simply builds on his earlier efforts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Installation ~~~~~~~~~~~~ To install, simply drag the \Flight, \Objects, and \Sounds folders to your SF2 Mods Folder (NOT the folder that the game installs to). By default your Mod Folder should be located here: Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\[username]\My Documents\ThirdWire\[Game]\ Windows Vista: \Users\[username]\Saved Games\ThirdWire\[Game]\ Windows 7: \Users\[username]\Saved Games\ThirdWire\[Game]\ ...where [username] is the account you log into within Windows and [Game] is the name of the particular game mod folder that you're moving the files to. If the aircraft are not showing up in your Single Mission Aircraft menu, then you didn't install all the bits correctly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aircraft & Nations Included ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The following aircraft are included in this package: Su-24 Fencer Su-24M Fencer-D Su-24M2 Fencer-D Su-24MK Fencer-D Su-24MP Fencer-F Su-24MR Fencer-E The following nations are represented: USSR Ukraine Iraq Libya Syria For more information on the differences between these various versions, see the documentation included in \_OriginalReadMes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Credits & Acknowledgements ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This package largely consists of work done by others and released previously in other packages. All I did was assemble the package, update the bits to SF2 standards, and make minor adjustments and tweaks here and there (discussed above). Veltro2K ....................................... SF2 F-104 Starfighter Super Mega Pack 2016 v3.5 By Viper63a et al! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOTH SF2E AND DLC28 ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS MOD! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE1: If you already downloaded version 3.1, you just need to download and install the patch to upgrade from version 3.1 to 3.5 Please read the Read Me in the Patch file. NOTE2: This mod WILL replace stock F-104s and may conflict with any other F-104 mod you may have installed - SO BACK UP unless you crave drama! SF2 Europe (merged or not) and DLC28 is REQUIRED, REALLY. If you don't have these, this mod will not work for you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After flying FastCargo's excellent "Classified Mission Mod (Version 1.1)" pack, I got re-introduced to the F-104 Starfighters. So take a look at FastCargo's mod in the link below. Some install work is required, but well worth it.... http://combatace.com/files/file/11458-classified-mission-mod-version-11/ Firstly - I take NO CREDIT for the work contained in this pack. I made some of them better (All new skins, decals...etc), but I was not the creator. I am just a reflection of the excellent work that can be found here in CA. So here is my humble contribution to the collective. Thank you all for your mod packs! What's in this pack? In a nutshell, I downloaded some F-104 mods to check out the 104s (turned into downloading almost ALL of them, two of the best being Wrench's DLC28 F-104 Pack and MigBusters "Thirdwire F-104A/C Pack 1 1.0 " pack. Then added a bunch of other packs that caught my eye. There were lots of conflicts, broken decal links, leaking LODs...etc etc...So I started merging - fixing - reskinning - re-decaling and generally upgrading all the packs into one merged and hopefully easier to install pack. This is my "Best of the breed" F-104 Super Pack and I thought you may like a copy. Again, SF2E and DLC28 are REQUIRED, but other than that, everything else is in this pack to start flying the F-104 Starfighters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This pack includes F-104 skins, new pilots, hanger, loading, loadout, decals and everything else you need to start flying the F-104s... My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97 64-bit was..(yours may be different)... C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\StrikeFighter2... Original "Readmes" are in the Extra folder with some other goodies... Enjoy! =Viper= ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would like to take a minute and thank these people for taking the time to contact me with fixes, upgrades and assistance to make this a better package! THANKS! KJakker - Major help with upgrading the cockpits! Thanks!
