BMS 4.36 U2 requires a legit installation of a Falcon 4.0 (all older and newer versions are accepted alike, i.e. Microprose, Hasbro, GOG, Steam, Retroism). The check is performed both at setup time and every time you start BMS. If no valid installation is found, BMS will exit with a corresponding error message. U2 is an incremental update on top of 4.36 base + U1, so you need to have the BMS 4.36 Full Installer package and Update 1 available on your PC.     It is the Alaska, Bering Strait (1955-2018) remake I had made. You can also tell by the snowy runway textures made by luk1978. @Wrench Just FYI, I had released a scratch made version of the Hawaii terrain, which is in full Real World scale and with all possible airports and cities/towns of the archipelago. I think it's often overlooked.

    August 2022 =============== United States Air Force F-5C Skoshi Tiger Volume III VERSION 1.0 ------------------------------------------------------------ We are proud to present the F-5C Skoshi Tiger, a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, and one of the most enduring American military aircraft designs ever produced during the Cold War period. This third Volume depicts the following variants; the USAF F-5C and the VNAF F-5C. It has been our goal to provide to the simmer a highly detailed model and texture base which preserve the beautiful lines of this aircraft; and to engineer flight model files and a cockpit/gauge file-set that are authentic and add to the immersion of the flying experience within the Strike Fighters 2 series. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: -------------------------- 1. Copy the contents of the "To Mods Folder(s)" to your SF2 Mod directory. Allow directory merging and overwrites, provided the overwrites pertain to "fake pilot" entries, as well as weapons made by ravenclaw_007, which are included in this and many other releases. 2. Add the entries of "ADD_TO_SOUNDLIST.txt" to your SOUNDLIST.INI (located in the "user\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Flight" folder).If one does not exist, then you will need to extract it using the 3rdWire CAT extract utility. You are simply required to substitute the "XXX"s with the next sequential number in the sound file section of the file. The AI will use full flaps although you can hear the flap sound cycling between flap 1 and flap 2. The gunsight was acceptable for aiming AIM-9B missiles, guns, rockets and bombs.     Went from 24" to a 4K 32" and (running at 1440p regardless) - I find it okay at standard arms length distance on desk for everything I do on a PC. I don't run anything at 144hz though.

    SitRep: I made some progress with creating airfield files which put the parked aircrafts on correct positions. Here the flightline of Petriwka Airfield and the parking area for transport planes at the same base:

    easiest method will be to add a black decal to the canopy itself. same method as on the airframe, get your mesh name and location from lodviewer when you do it, you can just use a small 12x12 tga filled to the borders. while usually bad form in making decals, it works when you are coloring a whole part like a ECM blister or maybe a canopy. the color to the edges will bleed and cover the whole mesh. mandatory screenie. not a upcoming project, just something different

    You will surely have realized, that in the two Beta versions the parked planes were parking somewhere on the gras. I'm now working on this subject and creating airfield files with correct placement for parked planes. Its a puzzle job and will need some time.

    You beat me to it by an hour crisisloaner! I think Chappie flew an F-16B too, which would make sense, then either of them could make the rescue of Col. Masters. Unfortunately Chappie never made it to the target, having been hit in a tense dogfight with Bilyan MiG-23s And he was last seen trying to make it back over the Mediterranean.. Time to put on the music... Please can you share the Hades bomb and the Data.ini and Loadout.ini files to get the asymmetrical loadouts?

    These CF-5A's (CF-116) always looked good. My two cents : Your side decals are wrong :) ''CANADIAN ARMED FORCES'' on left side and ''FORCES ARMÉES CANADIENNES'' on right side. and Canadian flag is too big on the tail. But great looking!

    Kirowskoje Airbase at Crimean peninsula. I dont know, why the Soviets very seldom built hangars and hardened aircraft shelters at their bases at the Crimean peninsula. Giant airfields, but less protection for the planes. Strange. Only one base is to be built and then i will release the second Beta.
