3 pointsI was thinking of making the Shahed-136 drone what do you think? So we can shoot it down by jet or SAM

realSKY Environment January 13th, 2019 (1st Release) by Menrva >For Strike Fighters 2 games This is my sky enhancement mod. It also combines the work of many other modders, in order to provide a realistic, better looking sky. Here below a quick summary of the changes: -Tweaked sky colours, something in between Cellinsky's widesky and the stock SF2 colours. -More realistic Night colours, sky and ambient are much darker. -More atmospheric, reddish transition from Twilight to Night. -New "dark blue" High Altitude colours (fly near space with a NF-104). -Moon produces a yellowish light instead of the default purple. -Sky is "wider" much like Cellinsky's widesky mod (background horizon clouds are bigger and more noticeable). -Added beautiful cloud graphics made by Cellinsky and ShrikeHawk, tweaked for each weather type. -Added a low number of stray clouds to Clear weather. -Added noticeable clouds to Overcast weather and Inclement weather, "fixing" a known SF2 "bug". -Combined various mods to produce a more interesting Rain Effect under Inclement weather. -Added Stary's lens flare effects from the SARCASM 2 mod, in place of Cellinsky's widesky effects. -Added Cloud Layer graphics by Stary, Fubar512 and Brain32. -Reworked secondary atmospheric effects, such as contrails and wingtip vortexes. In addition, the package includes alternative environment configuration files in the Alternative Weather folder; they enable different effects for the Inclement weather. You can choose between thunderstorm (default, adapt for most terrains), snowstorm (for cold, icy terrains) and sandstorm (for hot, desert terrains). For those who wish not to change the effect globally, I highly suggest to try the included terrain-specific environment example provided for stock SF2 terrains; the default global effect is thunderstorm, while terrains with their own environment file either use sandstorm or snowstorm as appropriate. Use this as a basis to customize other terrains. By setting the Effects to Unlimited, the game makes use of a DirectX 10 post processing effect; the stock game's post processing shader generates a pointless and horrible bloom effect which excessively blinds the player during twilight transitions. By default, realSKY includes a reworked post processing shader (TWPOSTPROCESS.FX) which provides more contrast, more vignetting, minor color correction and a daytime-only bloom effect, so it's miles better than what the stock game offers. Alternative post processing tweaks are included in the Alternative Shaders folder; choose the one you wish to try (check the included screenshots for fast comparisons) and overwrite the default one in your mod's Flight folder. If you don't care about the post processing effect, you may want to set the game's Effects to High in the Options menu. >Credits (in no particular order): -Cellinsky, for his fantastic widesky mod from which I borrowed some tweaks. -Stary, for his Thunderstorm and Heavy Snowfall weather mods, and his SARCASM 2 beta mod from which I borrowed some effects. -PanamaRed, for tweaks in regards to Clouds (especially the Broken weather ones). -Fubar512 and Brain32, for their Cloud Layer Top bitmaps, which I have smoothed for a better looking effect. -ShrikeHawk, for his CloudSkins mods, from which I took the spectacular cloud graphics. -BearGryllis, for his Thunderstorm Pack With Enhanced Lightnings 2.0b package. -Orsin, for his Improved Rain Effect and Heavy Rain 0.8 mods. -luk1978, for his interesting WeatherEffect package. -ArmedLightning, for his Special FX v2.2 mod for the GTR 2 game, from which I borrowed a lens flare effect. -baffmeister, for the idea of recreating sandstorm weather effects. -tiopilotos, for suggesting improvements on other subjects. -Eagle114th, for his Improved Wingtip Vortex mod which I have reworked. -JosefK, guuruu and Coupi, for their interest and support. I included the original readme files from the mentioned mods, where available, to the end of giving proper credit to everyone involved directly or not. >Disclaimer: This is a freeware; yet it can be redistributed ONLY in other CombatACE mods/mod packages. This mod may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions. -
1 pointDear Friends, The work continues. At the moment we're working on the schedule of the new project, new techs, compiling design documents for the new aircraft and other objects - and along with all that we're developing the six Collector Planes, some of which will be released before the end of this year and some in the beginning of the next one. One of them is the British fighter Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XIVe "Bubbletop". Unlike the Spitfire Mk.XIV already existing in the sim, this one has a bubble canopy without the dorsal fuselage spine. Many WWII fighters had such modification - the goal was the improved backward field of view. However, the dorsal spine wasn't there for nothing - it provided better aerodynamics via better airflow behind the canopy, reducing total drag of the aircraft. Nearly all pre-war aircraft designs had it because of a bit higher speed, but the actual war, as it usually does in human history, set the priorities differently. In the beginning of the war two Axis design bureaus tried a different canopy and rear fuselage design: there were Focke-Wulf Fw 190 designed by Kurt Tank and Mitsubishi A6M Zero designed by Jiro Horikoshi. They weren't the first fighters with bubble canopies and without a dorsal spine behind, but they were the fighters that were quite numerous and affected the air battles on either side of the Earth. The bubble canopy without the dorsal spine affected the aerodynamics negatively, but it gave the pilots much better view backwards - this was noted not only by them, but by their adversaries as well, since an air engagement was usually initiated by a sudden attack from a blind zone. Soviet engineers created bubble canopy modifications of the existing aircraft in the end of 1942 and in 1943 these models were produced on a massive scale. Their Western colleagues adopted it later and bubble canopy modifications began to emerge in 1944. Bubbletop Spitfire Mk.XIV appeared a year after the initial design, in April 1945. In Great Battles, Spitfire Mk.XIVe "bubbletop" will have two wing variations - with long (fighter) and short (photo recon) wingtips. As we always do, there will be other modifications included. Spitfire Mk.XIVe bubbletop will be released in the beginning of the next Spring, which is a bit symbolic, since, as we mentioned above, the real fighter appeared on the front during Spring 1945.

23d Wing Pope AFB 1994 In the 1990s, the USAF experimented with composite wings that would have everything needed within a single unit for deployment into a regional fight. The 23 Wing was formed in 1992 to bring about this vision, as applied to direct support of US Army forces. By 1994, 4 squadrons were ready at Pope AFB NC to support the US Army's 82d ABN DIV at neighboring Fort Bragg. The 2d and 41st Airlift Squadrons flying the C-130E Hercules, the 74th Fighter Squadron flying the F-16C/D Block 40 Vipers, and the 75th Fighter Squadron flying the A-10A Warthog. As is tradition for the 23d Wing, which traces its lineage to the Flying Tigers of World War 2, every aircraft in the wing sported a sharks mouth. This mod brings together everything needed to get the 23d Wing into the fight. Complete aircraft (including a newly revamped F-16D Block 40 from ravenclaw007), period specific weapons, sounds and effects. Included Viper Team F-16C Block 40 and 75th FS skin ravenclaw007/Viper Team F-16D Block 40 and 75th FS skin Dels C-130E_SKE with 2d ALS, 41st ALS Grey and 23d Wing Euro 1 skins Various period specific weapons (actively in use 1994-1996) Installation unzip folder * drop into mod folder of your choice * allow overwrites Known Issues The C-130 and its weapons are primarlily eye candy. There are unfortuneatly no paratroop drop missions in SF2, and so if you want to drop say 1/325 INF onto a drop zone, you will need to select a recon mission and punch those partarooper out by hand I have been having issues getting the LAPES Sheridan tank to create a "crater" after dropping. it is still included for the visuals of puching a tank out the back of a Herk, and because there was still an Airborne Armor Bn at Bragg in 1994. But at this time the tank will disappear on contact with the ground Credits Viper Team all F-16 models included ravenclaw_007 tweeked F-16D model and templates (C and D) Dels C-130E_SKE model killerbee331 original weapons pack that many armaments are drawn from here malibu43 2_LAU-88 mod to carry 4 Maverick rather than 6 XRAY base skin for 75th FS 94 yakarov79 LAPES M551 Sheridan and tech support with said tank daddyairplanes skins, tga work, much research, various ini edits, new TW inspired loading screens test team NightshadeP/R, allenjb42 and special thanks to William Godwin (callsign Radio), 23d Wing Historian at Moody AFB I hope you enjoy this mod. After 12 years total at Ft Bragg (all but 4 of them seeing the Hogs overhead near everyday) this one was a bit more personal than some other mods daddyairplanes aka Kevin Unruh 4 July 2022 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX UPDATE 31 DEC 20220 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX After further research on other Hog units, and closer examination of the TW model, i have included Spectre8750's A-10A_93 model with updated numbers list. I also changed several serials after determining that they were at other bases in 1995. The deduction I used to find the C-130 serials didnt work as well for the Hogs. But it is fixed and I even discovered two Tiger Shark Hogs that were still in Euro 1 camoflage at the time. The A-10A_93 features two skins for the bulk of the gray birds and the two green ones. ************************************************************* This is freeware; it CANNOT be distributed unless permissions are granted by myself. 1 pointView File Valkyrie VF3 This package represents an vf1 Valkyrie from the macross / robotech series contains the plane with 6 skins, the pilot, weapons and some sounds I did not homologate the simulator's common weapons, only the specific weapons that I created for the model were tested we have the missiles: AMM-1-ARROW air air all aspect RMS-1 nuclear warhead air to destroy zentraedi cruisers RMS-2 ground air with nuclear warhead the GU-11-55 cannon has a caliber of 55mm (if you read correctly) It has a great range but it also has a great kick the plane is a plane, it is not a robot it cannot be transformed into a guardian el piloto es el modelo de la pelicula macroos recuerdas el amor. I had planned to create the characters of the series but unfortunately every day it becomes more difficult for me to finish projects to be able to share them with you, it would be a great help if you followed me on my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8BqDDMdd -Xv4nvCnU2rXyw So I could justify the time invested to my wife hahahaha. excuse my bad english the text is translated by google translator Submitter torno Submitted 09/01/2022 Category What If Hangar

1 pointShahed-136 drone It's a good model, but I don't think it's good for the game, since it's a kamikase drone, it's practically a rocking ammunition
-
1 pointI think FastCargo already did something like that years ago if I remember correctly. You may want to ask him what it is.
-
1 pointOhhh so cool I once modelled a super basic version of a generic Empire AA turret if you want to add it to them I can try look for it in my dusty archive xD

1 pointWhat more of a sign do you need? After years of silence and ignoring the SF2 community TK came out of nowhere and wanted money. He found a few guys, that had enough hope, that this move was not just some sort of fake. And after not getting enough, he decided to go back into silence again... In my opinion, maybe at one time for a very short time he really had the idea of doing an up-to-date version, but this moment is gone for a long time. I know what not to expect.

1 pointI am fine-tuning this beast, but there is always some data to adjust, I never got a photo of its cockpit, they will have to settle for the mig 21 PF with some panels deleted from the data, here is a new skin and I can not invest anymore time on this project.

This is a basic profile for use in VoiceAttack so you can speak to your wingmen and squadron to command them instead of hitting keys - voiceattack does the pressing for you. All spoken phrases are fully editable within Voiceattack, so you can change any to whatever suits you, doesn't matter what you say, so long as it's in the profile and matches the programmed keypresses. Makes the game a little more immersive and fun. But it won't make your wingmen actually obey the commands any more than usual The separate Voiceattack program is required, but only costs a small fee to buy. -
1 pointI played a little bit with the Flightmodel an i was able to reduce the wobbling of the Tejas. Open file: Tejas_data.ini. Look for line: ReferenceArea=38.4 and change it into ReferenceArea=35.5 Then look for the entries of the [Left_Flaperon], [Left_Flap], [Right_Flap] and [Right_Flaperon] chapters in each of this chapters you find a line: ControlRate=1.0 change it into ControlRate=2.0 This changes help to reduce the wobbling effect. They will not eliminate it.

Attached are a collection of original manuals from the 1950s and 1960s, to help the simulator pilot accurately reproduce aerial engagements from the Korean War and beyond. The Boyd manuals were found on Mark Hart's website. Originally they were Air Force documents of course, but difficult to find and not in good quality. Mark painstakingly reproduced the documents to their original conditions. His contact information and how he restored each manual is included in the individual pdfs. -

This is a major overhaul of Thirdwires stock Germany terrain for Strike Fighters 2 Europe. This mod includes Starys wonderfull GermanyCE hires terrain textures V3 with some small tweaks like grey painted roads or different river colors and a few new tiles. All airfields has been modified with new buildings . A couple are made from scratch. Try out Florians Pferdsfeld or Büchel airbases if you fly for the Nato. They are outstanding! Try Drewitz or Marxwalde or Gerwin field airfields if you are fighting for the Red side . Lots of strike targets has been modified or moved into towns. Hamburg and Wismar got real harbours and you find new objects all over the terrain. I also included hi ho silver's new city night textures and a modified ENVIRONMENTSYSTEM.INI as additional install if you want to fly night missions that looks like real nights. Special thanks to Ravenclaw_007 and 76.IAP-Blackbird. Both made some objects i realy needed for this rework and supported me to create this mod. Another Special thank to Gepard for his German airfields mod. And a special thank to Florian who made the best looking airfields i've ever seen in any Sim! And i want to thank all creators who made all the great objects i used for this mod. Without your work i would never had started this project. Thank you all! Rends
