2 pointsHave you tought in adding small lod cars and trucks on those roads? Will add civilian life to the terrain. Run for cover...
-
2 pointsNah I have the USN letters, but it didn't look right. I used a British (I think it was) to get the font at least looking close to it, and seems good enough for government work.

1 pointEricJ, would it be possible to share a verison of files SHbody.jpg and SHWing.jpg from the USNTPS skin without the numbers 00 ot it? I would like to add these as decals and thus get all 4 aircraft represented - 00, 01, 02 and 03. Thank you in advance.

1 pointAs Svetlin said it's the US Navy Test Pilot School, where they train people to be test pilots. It's actually here: https://www.navair.navy.mil/nawcad/usntps No problem!

1 pointView File F/A-18F Block II USNTPS skin This is just a skin of 00 of the US Navy Test Pilots School. Simply drop in your FA-18F_BlkII folder and go fly. It can be found under USNTPS in the drop-down menu. Submitter EricJ Submitted 05/17/2023 Category F-18

1 pointFound a close enough font to work with the USNTPS. Next is the numbering and then uploading it.

1 pointWork so far. I may not be able to show the process but this is what you get with good, efficient mapping of a model. It was relatively painless getting it done too:

Mirage F1EDA Spain This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. In 1994 Spain bought 12 F1EDA/DDA's retired from Qatar Air Force. Covered unit : Spain : ALA 11 F1EDA Spain specifics: no R550, AIM-9N2/3/JULI SW instead no R530 S530F CLB4, no AUF2, no CLB8 radio-altimeter Seat Mk10 Inertial Navigation System Sagem UNI47 RWR BK (1-12 GHz) no AAR probe no Barax (assumed EDA had not the capability, they had Remora jammer in Qatar AF but Spain did not use Remora) A big thank to all on Combatace and C6 forums that helped us solving issues we encountered. Any omission in credits is totally unwanted, if I forgot somebody, let me know, I will correct this. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware. Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms. Enjoy The Mirage F.1 Team -

1 pointthey look like Lear 25s. Since I left (almost) next door Santa Monica Airport, we used to see them all the in the 60s and 70s. I remember at a display show, looking inside and being amazed as how small the interior is !!!

I named this as "Black Scheme 2" because I was already working on one VFC-12 actual scheme. Anyway, this is a proposed scheme that Fightertown Decals published and thanks to crisisloaner got a hold of the decals for the jet. Simply drop in your FA-18E_BlkII folder and go fly. Can be found under the drop down menu name of "Black Scheme 2" -
1 pointI modded an argentinian style static Airbus A310. So i have now 2 different painted A310. I think i will do one or two more, for the airports in Uruguay. A randomly placed flyable Boeing 707 side by side with static A310 and static Learjet.

1 pointSorry it took so long to answer, I've had health issues - in and out of the hospital, etc. If you want the Ford FT-B to operate as a tank, showing up in ground attack missions, simply drop the folder into your GroundObject folder. If you want to place static vehicles around the terrain, you need to have in your GroundObject folder, then add some lines to the Types.ini in your Terrain folder. I used the data for trucks in the stock game and modified the code. Add this to the end of your Types.ini - [TargetTypeXXX] Name=FordFTB DetailLevel=1 FullName=Ford FT-B TargetType=TANK ActiveYear=0 TargetValue=0 UseGroundObject=TRUE GroundObjectType=FordFTB RepairRate=0.555 StartDetectChance=0 StartIdentifiedChance=0 IncreaseDetectChanceKey=0 MaxVisibleDist=8000.0 DestroyedEffect=MediumFire SecondaryEffect=SmallRocketGroundExplosion SecondaryChance=100 Change the "XXX" to the next consecutive number in the Types.Ini. list Then you have to add the vehicle to the Targets.ini in the places you want it to appear, like any other target. I hope this isn't too late to be helpful.

The Blohm & Voss BV 141 was a World War II German tactical reconnaissance aircraft. It is notable for its uncommon structural asymmetry. Although the Blohm & Voss BV 141 performed well, it was never ordered into full-scale production, for reasons that included the unavailability of the preferred engine and competition from another tactical reconnaissance aircraft, the Focke-Wulf Fw 189. Here is a great looking Sea Gladiator built by Geezer and set up for StrikeFighters2. The default installation is for MTO but also included are a few additional files that can be added for ETO use. The installation is quite straight forward but make sure you READ the included README to understand the sound file installation. It's a small but additional hoop to jump through. SF2 WW2 MTO Bristol Beaufighter Mk.IC, v.9 by Cocas 5/10/2015 -- Something for the WW2 MTO players -- = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, at any patch level. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.* *Note x2: This mod represents ICs as used in the MTO =ONLY=.* A few modificaitions (mostly a skin/decals set) for Cocas' Beau Mk.IC, 'Coastal Command' version as used in the Med. This is the complete aircraft. This pack contains the following skin/decal set: No. 272 Squadron As seen in mid 41 thru late 43 time frames, based in Egypt and Malta. The aircraft is finished in standard Desert Day camo. The Squadron Crest is used as the paint chip seen on the Loadout Screen. Skins are in jpg format, as are the bump maps. Damage textures are in DDS. Everything is included, excepting the guns (you should have all these already). All markings are decals, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. All serials, while correct for the variant depicted, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent no specific aircraft with the unit(s) depicted. \When in-game, you'll see: Beaufighter Mk.IC (CAF) for this aircraft. The "CAF" (for Cocas Aircraft Factory) will diferentiate these Beaus from any others you may or may not have. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Happy Hunting! Wrench Kevin Stein - for Cocas Aircraft Factory - *this was supposed to be released with the other Beaus, but somehow slipped under the rug! Enjoy!* -

The Dornier Do 17, sometimes referred to as the Fliegender Bleistift ("flying pencil"), was a World War II German light bomber produced by Claudius Dornier's company, Dornier Flugzeugwerke. It was designed as a Schnellbomber ("fast bomber"), a light bomber which, in theory, would be so fast that it could outrun defending fighter aircraft. Credits 3D Model (Veltro2k) Textures and FM (Charles) Cockpit (Kesselbrut). install in proper folders THIS MODEL IS ONLY TO BE DISTRIBUTED AS FREEWARE AND IN NO OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL IT BE USED, EVEN IN PART OF ANYTHING THAT IS PAYWARE.
