9 pointsDid you eat your cookies and the milk ? Did you behave all this time ? Whaaaat? You didn't ??? LOL Well, anyway St Nicolas has news for you.We are officially launching our AIDC T-5 Brave Eagle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIDC_T-5_Brave_Eagle) thread. Our AT-5 is almost done, some details still remain to be nailed down. As you might know by now, AT-5 is a trainer that has ability to carry most weapons the F-ck-1 could, except radar guided A2A weapons and the TC-2A anti-radiation missiles. It has no gun so we took the initiative to create an external gunpod for it. Model itself is finished, though we might have to add an additional mesh to the back seat for the Hud repeater among other things. Since the AT-5 is a F-ck-1 modified version, we created templates for the AT-5 fuselage and updated them many time during the development. We still have some work here and there, for instance to adjust panel lines and the fade-in parts for the gills and airscoops. We planned, for now, just three skins for it (see the first two pictures and the last one included) though they will be a (real) challenge for the team given their complexity but I think we will manage it in the end. Decals are already planned to be implemented for it, too. We like the details so for the prototype we'll build a slightly different AC.lod with additional antennas. We made brand new pilots for the plane and we will also update soon the F-ck-1 with these new created pilots for it, too. Given the present period of the year and the fact that some members of the team will take soon a well deserved holiday, we will have important news for you at the end of the January, next year. Until then we will work to the skins and to some left details. Stay tuned. PS - I included four pictures as well for our model.

9 pointsNot got those in my list, but if you're happy to send them over that would be great thank you! No worries on the Ka-27, I have found a low(ish) poly one online I can use, it's not perfect but it'll do the job: The list of WW2 statics that I've collated from your terrains are so far are: A5MClaude, A6M2N, A6M3, B-17F, B-17G, Beaufighter, Beaufort, Bf109E, Bf109F, Bf109G, BF110C, Blenheim1, Fw190A, Hurricane1, Hurricane2, Hurricane2C, Hurricane2D, Hurricane2_Hydro, Ju87B, Ju88, Ki201, Ki45Nick, Ki48Lily, Kittyhawk, Lancaster, Me262, P38F, P38J, P47D, P51D, Q1WLorna, Re2000, Re2001, SB17, Spitfire1, Spitfire8C, Spitfire9, SpitfireVBT, Warhawk. Here's a few other statics I've been working on: TMF F-5E and KC-135R Russo's Hawk and YEYEYE's Mi-24 from the modder's repository C-17

5 pointsIt was supposed to be a Bear Hunt.... Turned out to be more of a Snipe Hunt. Never saw a thing, and after turning fuel into contrails for about 30 minutes, headed home.
-
3 pointsi read somewhere about a method of treating the statics like ships, allowing you to add individual markings to the static aircraft. while the person that did it was doing units (C-17 tails iirc) it might allow you to use the 707s with my tga skins (scaled down of course) and have a big variety with minimal effort. matter of fact would work on damn near every flyable airliner on site, as i skinned all most of the CA released ones except for the 747..... if interested i'll ask the guy how he did it

2 pointscool! I'll get those sent over to you soon also, i repurposed the static H-19 as a Mil-4 Hound. it's "close enough for goberment work'
-
2 pointsJimBib: do you have Russo' Cessna T-50 on floats, and the Catalina. Russ did a Kamov 27 helo, standard and "folded" but it sinks into the ground, so not really usable
-
2 pointsPutting together some static aircraft terrain object packs, these can be permanently placed on airfields to complement the game generated parked aircraft. Besides the 737, 747, A300 and TMF 707, these are from freeware sources and I have re-mapped some of them to use the same textures of mods available here at CA for some skin re-usability and variety.

1 pointDid a class on nutrition one time, and the instructor pointed out that you're not getting essential stuff from not eating meat. I don't mind salads and the like, but then again they're chicken caeser salads too.

1 pointYes, it is a picture from Polish training dogfight, made by MiG-21bis One of a dozen photographs taken during a simulated dogfight during the visit of four Dutch F-16s (323 Squadron) to Zegrze Pomerania in 1999. The hit was made by the pilot, captain. Andrzej Kilar. The photograph was analyzed and processed by a senior staff member Wieslaw Sieradski - head of OKL. The photographs captured the beautiful sequences of the aiming, the hit itself, and the takeoff. The pilots were present together during the analysis of the materials. The photo above was given to the Dutch pilot as a reminder of the event

1 pointHello, I would like to animate the auxilary air intake from the TMF Mirage IVP. I have added these entries in the data.ini file of the plane : [AuxIntake11] SystemType=HIGHLIFT_DEVICE SmoothDeployment=TRUE FullyDeployOnGround=TRUE DeploymentMethod=AUTOMATIC_AERODYNAMIC_LOAD Setting[1].Angle=10.0 Setting[1].DeployValue=110.0 Setting[1].RetractValue=130.0 MaxDeflection=30.0 MinDeflection=0.0 ControlRate=1.0 RotationAxis=Y-AXIS ModelNodeName=add11 This runs however I would like to reverse the angle of the meshe (add11)... to the inside of the fuselage. There is no animation ID for this. Thank You in advance... P.
-
1 point"ReverseModelOrientation=TRUE" added should make it And depending on the expected result you may prefer the speed control with "DeploymentMethod=AUTOMATIC_MACH". This is what we use on the F1.

1 pointThis is a real pic. Check out the clarity. This is the pic that convinced me the original posted pic was probably real: aircraft-gun-camera-004-jpg.129399 (699×555) (militaryimages.net)

1 pointI asked in an other forum and got the answer from there, that the photo was taken in Poland during a dogfight training between polish MiG-21 and F-16. It is more believable than the story of Lebanon War.
-
1 pointThe situation in the air itself gives me great doubts. The F-16 aircraft found itself ahead of the MiG-21, it is maneuvering with underwing tanks in a combat under heavy danger. With pylons for AMRAAM missiles.. Over Lebanon in 1982. Well, I do not know.
-
1 pointI want to remind that its film on 35mm filmtype, 23.75x24mm. We see not only the pylons, but even the littlewings on the tanks. In 1982. Through soviet optic.
-
1 pointWe launched to intercept some inbound Beagles. Every one of them (all 12) was/were killed by the fleets missile barrage before we got close, so it became just a routine training mission.
-
1 pointI do use that one; especially when I'm flying French Crusaders. That's the map where thsese were taken. (Hopefully, this protocol breach of it not being Monday is allowed in this instance) Getting them back on the smaller decks is the real challenge.
-
1 pointI compiled just about every sound that I had into one Sound folder and one Soundlist.INI file some time back. Attached is my present sound folder and Soundlist.ini file, you might find some stuff you like in it. I think it is only missing some sounds from my WWII install but I have this in my SF2:NA install which is the one I use for most of my testing. Sound Files.7z
-
1 pointThe sound of a weapon not only based on the calibre, but on rate of fire too. For instance the 12,7mm DSHK Machine gun sounds completly different from the 12,7 mm Machine Gun JakB.
