Here is updated gunsight, one is realistic and another is bright version, based on A-4s and F-8s gunsights: And based on the actual picture, noticed htat the gunsight is tilted a little darker Here is the result with deafult (bright) gunsight Anothe version with realistic gunsight Inside the cockpits, there are two options to choose for gunsights while it is defaulted to bright recticle. Thank you Wrench, EricJ, and Daddy airplanes for the advice> From now on, for any gunisghts that seem difficult to see with realistic colors / brightness, I will make two version, one with default (bright) and realistic. 3 pointsI tested your tiles (both in game and in PhotoShop). The first screenshot shows your original tiles in the game. The demarcation is clearly visible. The second shot shows the tiles after I edited the edges of the alpha channels. The result is not perfect, but it looks much better. When resizing, PhotoShop sometimes leaves a ‘frame’ around the edges of the image, this is what might have happened to your tiles (just a guess, I am not sure). What I did to your alpha channels was covering the ‘frame’. I hope this makes sense to you.

1 pointIt's not a graphic file VonS. It's a file designed to define aspects of textures and overlays of textures. Aircraft use them too to allow damage decals to be placed over it when hit etc. I can't help in detail at the moment, but a MOS Editor is called surprisingly MOSEditor ;), and in ye olde CFS3 Aircraft and Vehicle SDK. It will also need a fix file on Windows 10 /11, and also be set to run in compatibility mode for Win XP. If you get Mos editor, send me a PM and I can send the fix file. The mod on Mike's site you pointed to https://www.thatoneplease.co/toolsWOFF.html contains the SDK inside the mod BTW so you have the MOS editor. Mos stands for Mosaic

1 point@Wrench @EricJ @daddyairplanes That makes perfect sense. Here is what I realized and decided to do this methods by default: Use bright yellow like used on another gunsight. This will be deafult for all sights. For anyonoe who want more realistic gunsight colors, there will be an optional folder to replace deafult gunsight. I, personally, prefer playability too. All of your feedback are excellent and very helpful. Ironically, I am in the same shoe as you all are, I have some challenges seeing certain things and I love the ywllow gunsight colors too. by the way, Wrench, amY I ask for your advice on cockpits since you have tons of experiences with it. I posted it (how to clone instrunment and change posiiton). By the way, I am also looking into adding the 'tilt' color to gunsight glasses. If it works well, I can consdier appplying it on another plane, if it helps wwith seeing gunisght even better, any thoughts on that? Cheers! Eagle114th

1 pointSpeaking as a old dude (nearing my 7th decade), with crappy eyesight, I personally go for the brightest yellow possible. No matter how good our monitors are, there is always some loss. So, I'd rather give up some historical accuracy for playability. I've repainted many a gunsight tga simply for that reason

1 pointI have finished now the converting the JPG to TGA files for Guernsey island. It is not perfect, but good enough, i think. The only thing, what me angered are the slight differences between the blue of the sea tiles and the blue of the coastal tiles of the islands. I tried to solve that problem, but i failed.

It is designed for air superiority and strike missions and powered by two medium-thrust turbofan engines the WS-19,and in theory, it has similar situational awareness and collaborative combat capabilities as the J-20.In addition to being an advanced naval tactical fighter, it will also gradually replace the old third and fourth generation fighters in the PLAAF inventory such as the J-10 in the future. On October 29, 2021,carrier-based variant made its maiden flight,air force variant on September 26, 2023. PLAAF Officially revealed the J-35A on November 5, 2024. =========================================================================================================== What does this mod probably have? (1) It contains 1 birds, J-35 ①J-35,Navy type,aircraft carrier based variant with a catapult launch bar and folded wings; (2) Cockpit from J-20s; (3) The Chinese alarm audio generated by AI, of course, fabricated. There are related videos circulating on the Internet that prove the existence of cockpit voice, but we are unable to determine the exact content; =========================================================================================================== 3.Usage: Unzip and copy Sounds, Effects and Objects these 3 folder to where your game is installed; =========================================================================================================== Note: (1) No weapons included. 1 pointYa, it's got a LOT of folks that know little or nothing about military aviation, to say nothing of some "folks" that are not nice. I know some have been banned from here. It's not really worth it, very sad to say. If "owner" of that channel were to take a tighter reign on things, maybe it would be better (the Star Wars TieFighter Total Conversion discord channel is a perfect example of good folks running a tight ship; very cooperative and informative) The SF discord ... well, it lives up to the name, don't it?

Also for his new WoE runways which are included here. JSFAggie for his Highway runway Mod, which has been altered and modded for use as glacier-based FARPs. Brain32 for sound advice on creating terrain tiles. Cheers mate;-) Your hi-res lava tile has not been used here, but may see the light of day if I ever manage a hi-res set for this little terrain. Wrench, Dave & all the gang at CA for invaluable advice on how to make things work, garnered over the years and hopefully put to good effect here. MajorLee, Deuces, Edward and anyone else who made a terrain mod and posted about how to do it. Thanks! TK for making the whole bag of bolts hang together. *********************************** Installation instructions:- Unzip and drop the "ICELAND02" folder into your Saved GamesThirdwireStrikeFighters2Terrains folder. If there is no terrains folder in your mod folder, create one and drop the ICELAND02 folder into it. That's it! Go fly, and fight for the liberation of Iceland. This terrain has been completed using SF2 June 2010 patch. It is not supported on WoX series or earlier patch levels. But, if you really must try, use the ICELAND02_DATA.INI file included in the "Use_in_WoX" folder for SF1 series. Your mileage may vary. *********************************** This terrain features a completely new Iceland map, scaled up to full size and with a completely new tileset. All mission types are flyable for Red and Blue force. It has taken a number of years and several false starts to get to this point. Like gepard said about his Israel terrain, I feel the journey may never be finished, so if you spot any oddities or bugs, drop me a line at CombatAce and I'll try to fix it.
