    1. Su-30MKM Flanker Royal Malaysian Air Force

The Sukhoi Su-30MKM (Modernizirovannyi Kommercheskiy Malaysia – Modernized Export Malaysia) is a supermaneuverable fighter of the Royal Malaysian Air Force. It is a variant of the Su-30 series fighters, with many significant improvements over the original Su-30MK export version.[2] The Su-30MKM was developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau and is based on the Su-30MKI of the Indian Air Force. Both aircraft have common airframe, thrust vectoring engines and digital fly-by-wire system, However the MKM version differs from the MKI mainly in the composition of the on board avionics.[1] It can carry up to 8,000 kg/ 17,650 lb of weapons and payloads over 700 nmi unrefueled combat radius.[2]
In 2003, the Su-30MKM was selected by the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). In August 2003, during the course of President Vladimir Putin’s official visit to Malaysia, the contract for the Su-30MKM aircraft was signed. Except for Russian MiG-29s, the RMAF has previously operated aircraft of Western origin. At the time of delivery the Su-30MKMs were the most advanced and heavy fighters in SouthEast Asia.

This is my first attempt at making a Malaysian Su-30MKM, I am still new to the modding community and if anyone has any suggestions or wants to add anything please let me know! Currently working on an Su-30MKI as well.

      = For SF2, (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) =

A stand alone release (as requested) of Florian's Beta P-3C Orion naval search aircraft. It is taken 'as is' from eburger's RSR mod. The only thing I've done is activate the cockpit, and change a few sounds.

Skins included are 2 US Navy and 1 Netherlands Navy, as is the cockpit and all required decals and sounds. A full userlist ini, is included for skinners

**This aircraft is a "Beta Release". It is released in "AS IS" Condition. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist until as it's no longer a Beta.***

    3. SF2 Area 51 Test Pilot Hi-Res 1024x768 Menu Screens!

      SF2 Area 51 Test Pilot Hi-Res 1024x768 Menu Screens!
      By Viper

So, I do a lot of mod testing, I hate testing a new mod on an existing install I play on, so I have a dedicated install using the Nellis Terrain pack for testing new mods. This is the menu screens I use for that install. However, you can use these screens for any SF2 series if you like.

      1) Creating a new mod install...First, you need to create a new Tester Mod game and folder. You can use any SF2 Series Game as a base. In your install folder (the merged Thirdwire folder), copy and renamed "StrikeFighter2 Europe" (exe and ini file) to "StrikeFighter2 Area51" (I used "StrikeFighter2 Europe" for my tester base - you don't have to). Run it to create the "Saved Game" mod folder.

      2) Unzip and copy the uncompressed FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders from this package to your new StrikeFighter2 mod folder.

My StrikeFighter2 mod folder on Win7 64-bit was..(yours may be different)...

      C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\StrikeFighter2 Area51\

      3) To remove the new mod folder, just delete it and you're done. If you want to reset your tester install, rerun "StrikeFighter2 Area51" and copy the menus back into the reset mod folder.

      4) Test more mods in a new clean tester install...

      Enjoy!

    4. Fouga Magister CM.170 / Tzukit cockpit

This is dedicated Fouga Magister CM.170 / IAF Tzukit cockpit as included in The Scandinavian Front 2 expansion pack released earlier this year.

Uploaded for convinience as separate entry as not everyone might have interest in TSF2 mod (silly you!) or be aware that such a thing exists (doom on you!)

Installation is simple drag and drop into your desired aircraft. There are both english/french cockpit textures aswell as finnish ones included, the english/french ones enabled by default. My patented damage FX included for extra immersion.

      Have fun

    5. PAF C-130B SF2

      PAF C-130B For SF2(ANY/ALL)

PAF C-130B for SF2,tailor made for the Indo/Pak mod.Mod represents the C-130B in Service with the Pakistan Air Force during the time of the 65' and the 71' wars. These aircraft were(are!) assigned to the No.6 Transport Squadron based at Chaklala AB.During the time of the 1965 war, they were modified to drop bombs on enemy targets along with carrying out their normal duties. The modifications included the removal of the cargo ramps for better operations.
A detailed description of their missions may be read here:http://www.defencejournal.com/sept98/nodestination2.htm

Includes one aircraft with two textures.Due to the small amount of information available on the topic,I have decided to not include any Serial Numbers. However, the aircraft do sport their nose Codes. The skins include the early Gray/White scheme aswell as the rare SEA camo(present on aircraft delivered from USAF Stocks).Every attempt has been made to bring the skins as close to the real world aircraft as possible.
The Bomber mechanism was directly imported from Paulopanz's excellent An-12 mod found here:http://combatace.com/files/file/15637-an-12-cub-bonus-an-8-camp/

To drop bombs,Open the cargo ramp using Ctrl + O and then press the fire button.

      DEVELOPER Notes:
1.Since the original C-130 Package encouraged modding,I have gone ahead AND included the LOD files.
2.I could not find a suitable cockpit hence the original "Modern" cockpit is included.

The contents of this mod may be used in Other mods.In every instance please give full credits to the original Authors.

      Installation:
After unzipping, move the objects and the sounds folders to your mod folder.

    6. AH-6F / MH-6E Six Guns & Little Birds

      Hughes AH-6F and MH-6E Ver 1.0 for SF2

This is a third party add on of the first LittleBird AH-6C using models and cockpits created by me.
The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters.
I have just modified it a bit.
It is designed for and works only in SF2 series. It will not work in SF1 series.

      ******************IMPORTANT******************

This addon works only with my WeaponPACK (included). All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this weapon pack. Of course you can edit and use any other weapons availalbe.

      Standard commands:

LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed. Don't forget to retract before shooting on hard weapons settings)

ANIMATION 10 - Show/hide doors. If ever you will fly in cold enviroment and feel uncomfortable, you can fly with front doors instaled, It doesn't do anything. And will not help you. It's just for different look in winter.

      ANIMATION 1 - 'NVG'

You can realy fly low and slow.
I am sugesting to fly low on 40-50% of throttle. around 45degree vector control, use pulse rudder to control left right, it is realy easy. With little practice you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
Fun is skiding between buildings in cities.

Fuel. Remeber it is small chopper. And it can carry only around 54 US Gals of fuel. I belive it is enough for around 2 hours of flight here maybe little more.

      Cockpits.
Since photos of interior of this two early 160th SOAR birds are extremly rare and usualy low quality for now cockpits are just "guess" cockpits. Based on these low quality photos, some MD500D, Hughes 369D manuals, guessing.

      AH-6F.
Based on MD500D series. 9 airframes aquired by 160thSOAR probably in 1984 since all airframes are build in 84. AH-6F still used old M27 subsytem with M134 minigun. And same mount as earlier AH-6C for 7 tube launcher.

      Skins.
All serial numbers as far as I know are based on photos and US Army docs and are historicaly correct.

      Weapons.
      XM27 – M134 Minigun
M260 7 tube rocket launcher. First years of operation with mk40 rockets and later Mk66 rockets.

There is no gunsight for this helo. Acording to one of the pilots they were using "grease pencil mark on the windscreen, . And practicing shooting this way ". So here it is embeded to windshield. During night with 'nvg' it will glow a little.

      MH-6E.
Special Forces insertion/extraction variant of MD369MD. Introduced in 1981. No weapons.

      Skins.
All serial numbers as far as I know are based on photos and US Army docs and are historicaly correct.

      Weapons:

Here you can load experimental beta version of specops.
      Operator with M4 or M4/M203.
You have to land select "weapon" and deploy them on the ground and get away.
Remember this is beta. Lod model is "ehmm" and animations is just for try. I did not even finish skin. So do not expect fireworks.

There is also two weaponstations to carry M27 subsystem and M260 launcher. It is not to be used on MH-6E !!!
I added it here so player can pick AH-6C/F as wingman and have cover by wingman. Just fun in single mission.

MH-6E participated in Urgent Fury with AH-6C. It was not used in inital attack but used later for extraction wounded 82nd Airborne members to USS Guam.

Pilot by OldDiego poorly repainted by me.

      Have fun.
      Edit and report bugs.

    7. F-16E/F Block 60 Desert Falcon Pack

The United Arab Emirates choose the F-16 as its next strike fighter after lessons learned from the 1991 Gulf War In which its Mirage F.1s were unable to fly in due to IFF considerations due to the Iraqi F.1's. The Emirati government wanted an F-16 variant that was more advanced than the Block 50/52 standard and funded the development of the F-16E/F Block 60, and are internally the most advanced F-16's in the world and incorporate 5th generation features such as an internal FLIR/Laser targeting system negating the need for an external pod. More can be seen here F-16_Fighting_Falcon_variants.

The Block 60's included use the standard sound files found in all other F-16 packs the only instillation should be putting the aircraft and pilots in the correct folders.

Thank you to combat ace and its community for showing me how to skin and build Ini's

Thank you to specter870 for creating the original Data INI's for the F-16I.

This is my first aircraft mod if any issues feel free to put a message on my profile or change something yourself! Happy Hunting!

    21. 3W B-52D NM/White Skin Decal Update

      3W B-52D NM/White Skin Decal Update 8/16/2015

      = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V =

*Note: must have SF2:V as part of your base install, as that has the B-52D*

Some small modifications to Pete Fredrico's (pappychksix) original 1stGen Silver/White anti-flash B-52D skin. This mod repositions the original decals to match the SF2 positions, and adds 26 historical serials number decals. It should be noted that the serials, while correct for the model variant, are not representative of specific aircraft in a particular squadron or wing. They should be considered 'generic' in this respect. Decal randomization is TRUE. The original bmp format skins have been changed to jpg; other than that, they remain as originally posted.

Also included is a modifided texture set ini for the stock SEA camo skin, that uses the SF2 "date switch" to turn it on in 1965. This NM/White skin is default for all year previous to 1965.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

      Happy Landings!

    22. Kyushu J7W1 Shinden "Magnificent Lightning"

The Kyushu J7W1 Shinden "Magnificent Lightning" fighter was a World War II Japanese propeller-driven aircraft prototype that was built in a canard design.
The wings were attached to the tail section and stabilizers were on the front. The propeller was also in the rear, in a pusher configuration.
Developed by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as a short-range, land-based interceptor, the J7W was a response to B-29 Superfortress raids on the Japanese home islands.
For interception missions, the J7W was to be armed with four forward-firing 30 mm cannons in the nose.
The Shinden was expected to be a highly maneuverable interceptor, but only two prototypes were finished before the end of war.
A gas turbine–powered version was considered, but never even reached the drawing board.

    23. SF2 Upgraded F-16 Hangar, Loading and Loadout screens for F-16 Mod Packs By the Viper Team!

SF2 Upgraded F-16 Hangar, Loading and Loadout screens for F-16 Mod Packs By the Viper Team!
By Me (No relations to the Viper Team!)

This is my upgraded F-16 Hangar, Loading and Loadout screens for most excellent F-16 Mods from "The Viper Team"'s (and one from dtmdragon - ADF) F-16 Mod packs. What I did was downloaded the F-16 packs from here...

      http://combatace.com/files/category/666-f-16/

Then I combined them up. Upgraded all the Hangar, Loading, Loadout screen files. Then deleted everything but the Hangar, Loading, Loadout screen files to keep the folder structure. In theory, you should be able to copy my pack into your SF2 Mod folder, BUT I CAN'T RECOMMEND THAT since I don't know what F-16 you installed or how.

      * Why did I do this?

I must be OCD, but I like all my Hangar and Loading screens to have the same format. I tried to match most of the plane to actual pix of planes for the Hangar and Loading screen. In many of the cases, I has to use generic planes because I could not find a decent picture of the plane.

Ok, this install is abit more complicated than my other mod/update/upgrades, but it's worth it. Well it was worth it for me.

      * What is included in this pack:

      *HANGAR.JPG
      *LOADING.JPG
      *LOADOUT.TGA
*NOTHING ELSE, NO LODS, SKINS, INIs....etc.

      * What is changed:

Upgrades F-16 Hangar, Loading and Loadout screens in "...\Objects\Aircraft" only!

      Installation:

      * BEFORE YOU OVERWRITE ANYTHING - BACKUP!!!!

      1) Sniper approach...

Take a look in my "*\To_Mod_Folder\Objects\Aircraft" folder. If you see a plane you have and want to upgrade with my screens, copy the screen files, one at a time, to your plane in your SF2 "...\Objects\Aircraft" Mod folder.

      2) Shotgun approach...

Backup your SF2 ""...\Objects\Aircraft" mod folder, and then copy the contents of my "To_Mod_Folder" folder to your SF2 mod folder. If you don't have the plane I have, you will just get some extra folders in your SF2 mod folder and waste some space. If something goes nuts, then you have your backup? Right?

That's pretty much it...If I can sell (free, not money or anything - LOL) "The Viper Team" on these screens, it would just come "The Viper Team'S" F-16 packs...LOL, not pushing anything...just wishing. Love your work!!

      ------------------------------------------
Credits to "the Viper Team" for their Excellent F-16 Mods. Also and again, I have no associations with the Viper Team. We jut share the name and the admiration for F-16s - that is all.

      Enjoy!

    24. StrikeFighter2 World War II PTO Hi-Res Alternate 1024x768 Menu Screens and Music!

StrikeFighter2 World War II PTO Hi-Res Alternate 1024x768 Menu Screens and Music!
      By Viper

I recently downloaded the "All inclusive SF2 Pacific Theater of Operations" (PTO) package from the A-Team site. Excellent package, but the menus were not to my liking...soooo...I upgraded them. These menu screens are tailored for that package, but it should work for any SF2 game with a Pacific WWII theme!

Note: These are new Menu Screens for the A-Team PTO Package - NOT THE A-TEAM PTO PACKAGE. If you want the SF2 Pacific Theater of Operations package, you will have to download it from the A-Team site. A little tricky getting registered, but I recommend it!

You should unzip the file and preview the new screens before installing them. I recommend doing this as there are MANY alternate screens I have in there that you might like better.

If you choose to install these screens, I recommend that you back up (make a copy of) your FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders in the SF2 Mod folder you're installing this mod into. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup.

To install, simply unzip and copy the uncompressed FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders to your StrikeFighter2 mod folder.

To remove, simply delete the FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders and rename the copies you made to FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders.

My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97 64-bit would be something like...

      C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\<Name of your PTO mod folder>\

      Enjoy!

PS. Check out my Init Screen mod in the "InitScreen Extra" folder...

    25. SF2 New Hangar, Loading, and Loadout Screens for F/A-18A/B/C/D Version 2.0

SF2 New Hangar, Loading, and Loadout Screens for F/A-18A/B/C/D Version 2.0
      By Viper 2015/08/06

These are upgraded/Alternate Hangar, Loading, Loadout Screens for The Hornet Team's F/A-18A/B/C/D Version 2.0 package and new <Aircraft>.ini files to read them. It was released by Dave and can be downloaded here. If the The Hornet Team team saw fit to add this to their pack, I would be grateful.

FA-18 Series Update by The Hornet Team 2.0

      http://combatace.com/files/file/15259-fa-18-series-update-by-the-hornet-team/

These replaces/adds to The Hornet Team's package (STOCK ONLY) released on 11 Jan 2015. This (my) package DOES NOT include any LODs or other files from the Hornet team. It does include a new <AirCraft>.ini files so the right screens are read for display.

First!!! Always backup F/A-18s in your "...\Objects\Aircraft" folder. To install, copy the new "Airctaft" folder into your mod "Objects" folder. Overwrite and you're done.

      Enjoy!
