Tweaking of horizon cloud fog to "false" in the environsys file, combined with the clouds from the Stary effects pack v. 1.3 - has given me interesting results recently, with a nice combination of WOFF-style clouds in the foreground, and background clouds more visible than the high cirrus ones that emerge if horizon cloud fog is set to true. Also enjoying that the Gotha G.III in this case, after its high-compression FM tweaks, has rolled onto its back after its engine fire - always new surprises in FE2. The Nieuport 23bis makes for a wonderful interceptor by the way. Happy flying, Von S

While trying to edit a couple of posts I inadvertently deleted the entirety of Del's "C-130 Upgrade Project" thread. I can't seem to restore it on my own, and have contacted Erik to see if he can pull my big dumb ass out of the fire on this one Please accept my apologies, and we're "working the problem". Again, I did a dumb thing and am sorry!

View File StrikeFighter2 World War II Pacific Theater (PTO) Hi-Res 1920x1080 Menu Screens and Music! Version 3 StrikeFighter2 World War II PTO Hi-Res Alternate 1920x1080 Menu Screens and Music! By Viper I just recently downloaded the "All inclusive SF2 Pacific Theater Operations" (PTO) package from the A-Team site. Excellent package, but the menus were not to my liking...soooo...I upgraded them. These menu screens are tailored for that package, but it should work for any SF2 game with a Pacific WWII theme! You should unzip the file and preview the new screens before installing them. I recommend doing to see if you like the screens before installing them. If you choose to install these screens, I recommend that you back up (make a copy of) your FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders in the SF2 Mod folder you're installing this mod into. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup. To install, simply unzip and copy the uncompressed FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders to your StrikeFighter2 mod folder. To remove, simply delete the FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders and rename the copies you made to FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders. My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97\10 64-bit would be something like... C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\<Name of your PTO mod folder>\ Enjoy! PS. Check out my Init Screen mod in the "InitScreen Extra" folder... Submitter viper63a Submitted 10/31/2017 Category Menus

Here's an update: TA-4F_mod_v2.7z Template's are not included this time, as they didn't change. Kevin's updated hitboxes added (Thanks!) added loadout.tga added sounds adjusted startdate for late variant to 1972 Thanks for the Hitbox-update! Feel free to update the package if you like and the planes had the straight probe installed. The bent probe was used at a later date and a quick look showed that around 1971 they still had the straight one. Copy & paste error. Sorry! I played around with several ideas for TA-4 mods lately. The wing-issue is something I don't have... I copied the whole package into an unmodded install I have and the wings are visible (also in my test-install I use for modding). So I don't know why you don't see the wings. The TA-4J skin should work, but the colors of the fakepilot stuff will not match. Just wait a little, at the moment I update the TA-4J-pack.

    Navy Training in the 80's - the "hawk"-Part of VT-86 Sabrehawks (T-39 Sabreliner were the "Sabre"-part) ;) Revamped TA-4J skins + fakepilots.

As you pointed out, the SPADs were delayed so the Nieuport sesquiplanes continued in use long after they should have been retired. Probably. As I can make two aircraft by adapting the 24 backwards to a 17, I may as well make a decent cockpit that both models can use. Also worked on the Pfalz cockpit.

I have a very powerful card, GTX 1080 (I always had the best for that present whatever it were), and drivers are for certain NOT the problem here (I am a 25 year experience hardware engineer and I know one or two things about this matter). I reversed-engineeried two terrains from SF2 and they work flawlessly. That is why I didn't expect this problem and that is why I turned to YOU for help. The only thing that stands, for the peace of my mind, is what you said about internal coding. I will delete that terrain, but I'm telling you, I will do that with a heavy heart. Thank you for reply.

SF2 TA-4F Skyhawk "Fast FACS" by 331Killerbee & Co. This is the full package (all necessary parts included), originally created by 331Killerbee in 2008. It has been fully updated to SF2 standards, with various small changes to the aircraft and the data ini. As with my other SF2 "fixes" for the TA-4 series, some components have been 'removed' to stop the shadow tractor beams. The FM is at the latest SF2 standard (latest patch level) Other changes include (but not limited too): resetting all hit boxes randomization of decals "fake insignia" decal to activate Nation displayed name. All weapons used are stock 3W. Killerbee's original readme (well, actually this document!) is included for historical purposes, and it's historical background on the Fast FACs. Have fun!! What's needed is a full, or nearly full, frontal shot of the actor's face. Angled shots, showing the side of the actor's face, are too difficult. Go back a page or two and see the shots of George Peppard - one shot is almost looking straight into the camera.

When finished, it will run in either FE1 or FE2. The LODs are done, the baseline art is nearly done, and the cockpit is under construction.

Disregard above question about R11 horizon-blue fittings. The answer - YES - was buried deep in a section I did not read thoroughly.

Got it working ingame using Stephen1918's Caudron G.IV files. Still a WIP, but it flys! Click shots for hi-res images.

Nobody does it better than the MAC......once known as Military Air Transport Service (MATS). Something a little different....but different is good....ENJOY!! includes: C-135E file, sounds, jeeps(weapons) and some USAF pilots to make it happen.
