For serious constructive BETA testing of the campaigns please guys as its not a finished product :) StrikeFighters2 KAW68.7z Objects.7z Aircraft.7z ***** You will need to delete my options.ini and version.ini files as i forgot to before I uploaded. ***** Notes. SAM sites: This terrain does not correctly set up Red or Blue SAM sites. As a work around there is a SA-2 launcher set up as ‘static AAA’ that has its own built in Fansong search/ tracking radar and 5x missiles. The same thing has also been done with a MIM-14 Nike Hercules 4x missile battery. Nuclear weapons: There are no offensive tactical nuclear weapons however the South Korean Nike Hercules missiles are equipped with 2kt nuclear warheads as they would have been at the time. Also the F-106A and F-102A utilise the nuclear 1.5kt AIR-2A and 250t AIM-26A missiles respectively by default on an ‘intercept’ mission. Falcon Missiles: The stock TW AIM-4D Falcon has had its performance data dumbed down in order (I presume) to represent its poor performance when used by the F-4D Phantom in the game. However the reason the Falcon missile performed so badly when used by the F-4D was more to do with it being used outside its engagement parameters and the complex/ lengthy manual firing process the F-4D could only used. When used as designed by the fire control computer (FCS) of the F-102A/ F-106A and fired within its parameters (the FCS assisted the pilot with this) the Falcon was as effective as any other missile system of the era. In fact the IR seeker of the AIM-4D/ AIM-4G was the best on any IR missile until the AIM-9L was developed. As such I have corrected the data for all the Falcon missiles. To simulate the difficulty of manually preparing and firing an AIM-4D Falcon missile by a F-4D I have included the 6 second release delay in a specific AIM-4D used only by the F-4D Phantom in the game. F-106A: The AIM-4G station is not internal it is external so the AI will still engage with the missile as the AI will not use an internal IRM. I have the weapon doors set to manual opening. I also have a unique versions of both the AIM-4F and AIM-4G that combines the statistics of two missiles so it has the same kill probability of ripple firing two missiles as one. This is because the F-106A could ONLY fire its AIM-4 missiles in similar pairs. I use these missiles for the AI aircraft since as the player you can manually ripple fire two of the standard missiles at a time etc you just have to change your loadout at the loadout screen. In short the F-106A could fire a salvo of 2x AIM-4F, a salvo of 2x AIM-4G and a single AIR-2A Genie. To simulate this with the AI aircraft there is a single missile (AIM-4F_2_1) that represents the salvo firing of 2x AIM-4F and another missile (AIM-4G_2_1) that represents the salvo firing of two AIM-4G. F-102A: Same story as above with the F-106A and its Falcon missiles except the F-102A carried and fired its missiles in three’s. E.g. 3x AIM-4D on the rear rails all fired at once and 3x AIM-4A on the front rails all fired at once. However when carrying an AIM-26A/B it replaced one of the AIM-4A Falcons on the front centre rail. This means the F-102A could fire a single AIM-26A/B, a salvo of three AIM-4D, a salvo of two AIM-4A and its unguided FFAR rockets. Once again to simulate this with the AI aircraft there is a single missile (AIM-4D_3_1) that represents the salvo firing of 3x AIM-4D and another missile (AIM-2A_2_1) that represents the salvo firing of two AIM-4A.

Have a look at the cockpit of my Malaysian Skyhawks. I moved many things around to get the right look. You can move stuff around in several directions, but always 1 direction at a time. So just add the movements 3 times for the same type. Here's an example - the type is always the same, as is the nodename. Arresting Hook Lever in the Skyhawk cockpit - 1st rotated around X-axis, 2nd moved in the Y-axis and 3rd moved in Z-axis: [ArrestingHookLever_rX] Type=ARRESTING_HOOK_INDICATOR NodeName=side_control_r MovementType=ROTATION_X //1=retracted 2=deployed ValueUnit=DEG Set[01].Position=0.0 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=45.0 Set[02].Value=1.0 [ArrestingHookLever_Y] Type=ARRESTING_HOOK_INDICATOR NodeName=side_control_r MovementType=POSITION_Y //1=retracted 2=deployed Set[01].Position=0.0 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=0.01 Set[02].Value=1.0 [ArrestingHookLever_Z] Type=ARRESTING_HOOK_INDICATOR NodeName=side_control_r MovementType=POSITION_Z //1=retracted 2=deployed Set[01].Position=0.0 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=-0.0175 Set[02].Value=1.0

I know we can't really do air to air refuelling in SF2, so treat this as an opportunity to show off your close formation flying skills with some spectacular screenshots! Any combination of tanker and receiver is allowed. Any era, nation, air force or terrain. Any model source, be it CA, TMF, DAT, YAP or other acronym! Here are some of my efforts: I'm sure you guys can do better...

Updated Version (09/09/17) What is it? It's a paintscheme for the F-15C Eagle of the Ustio Air Force 6th Air Division, 66th Air Force Unit "Galm", from the game Ace Combat Zero. For F-15C (85). The Galm Team are a Mercenary Unit hired by Ustio and attached to the 6th Air Division. In the opening days of the Belkan War, Ustio lost 70% of their Air Forces and needed to find replacements quickly. The use of "Unofficial Assets" AKA foreign mercanaries became valid and the Galm Team was hired. Since then, they've become one of the most famous units in the war and have become known by their Allies and their enemies. They are supported by AWACS Eagle Eye and are deployed from Valais Air Base. During one encounter with the feared Schwarze Wing they were called "The Mercenary Dream Team". The name stuck with them. The Galm Team had participated in every major battle that the Allied Forces had undertaken, during the Belkan War. Cipher and Pixy had gained much recognition from their Allies for their amazing feats of skill and from their enemies in many ways. Some of it respect, fear or hatred. Galm One Name: Unknown Callsign: Cipher Nationality:Ustio Age: Late 20's to early 30's Sex: Male "The Demon Lord" The leader of the 66th AFU of the Ustian 6th Air Division. A feared Ace, who trailed across the skies, bringing doom and destruction. One could say he is like the Razgriz, bringing death upon the land,( the first part of the war). Then he enters sleep, during the "6 Months Of Void"", then comes back as a hero defeating Pixy and his V2 from destroying the world. Little is known about him or where he went after the Belkan War. (player's character). Galm Two Name: Larry Foulke Callsign: Pixy Nationality: Belka Age: 28 (in 1995) 38 (in 2005) Sex: Male "A Brother in Arms". Joined the Coup D'état forces and A World With No Boundaries after defecting from the Ustio Mercenary unit. It is rumored that he is currently a soldier in a volunteer army in a small country in Usea but, the info is still unconfirmed. Which addon(s) are required? Detailing the forward deck of the N17/23 series. The Alkan-Hamy synchronizer gear was a developed copy of the Fokker gear. When combat was imminent, the pilot pulled on the ring-handle to engage the synchronizer, but in normal flight the gear was not engaged. This reduced mechanical failure due to excessive wear. The ammo belt was fed up to the gun on the right side, through a wooden chute with hinged sheet metal cover. The empty cloth ammo belt was fed out the gun's left side and then down inside the fuselage, where it was wound around a spring loaded drum. Because the cloth ammo belt (used by all versions of the Maxim gun) would often flex during high-G manuevers, the belts often jammed the guns during combat. The Germans developed the disintegrating metal link in 1916 to solve the problem, and the other major powers soon copied the German metal link concept. The later Nieuport installation for metal links extended the chute over the side of the fuselage so the expended links could fall clear.

What is it? It's a paint scheme for the F-14D Super Tomcat of the Belkan Air Force, 22nd Air Division, 4th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Schnee", from the game Ace Combat Zero. The Belkan Air Force 22nd Air Division, 4th TFS "Schnee" Squadron operated four F-14D Super Tomcat and one EA-6B Prowler. The Schnee pilots used their aircraft to their best in battle. Their tactics rely on confusing and surrounding their enemies. Their F-14D Super Tomcats engage at both short and long distances thanks to their BVR weaponry, while the entire unit is supported by an EA-6B Prowler (not included) which jams enemy radar. The Schnee Squadron was sent to the front-lines at the start of the Belkan War. Stationed at Curado Air Base, within the skilled 22nd Air Division, they inflicted considerable damage on southern independent state forces and helped the Belkan Air Forces push towards Ustio, mainly in aerial combat. In one account above Monte Rosa, Ustio on March 30th, the Schnee Squadron encountered two squadrons, believed to be from the Ustian 4th Air Division. The two squadrons were promptly destroyed. The Schnee Squadron is accredited with dozens of air-to-air kills such as this around the Belkan borders. Throughout the war the Schnee Squadron saw much action; despite being shot down on more than one occasion. It wasn't until the Schnee Squadron entered the fray in area B7R during Operation Battle Axe, that they encountered the Ustian 6th Air Division, 66th Air Force Unit 'Galm'. The battle ended with the entire Squadron being shot down in B7R. Which addon(s) are required? What is it? A paintscheme featuring the Belkan Luftwaffe's 7th Air Division, 51st Tactical Fighter Squadron "Indigo", from the game Ace Combat Zero. For JAS 39 Gripen-C. The "Indigo Squadron" was a Belkan Air Force squadron that saw action in the Belkan War of 1995. Indigo's pilots were known for their elegant flight style and their pride in combat, which earned them the nicknames "Indigo Order of Belka" and "The Indigo Knights". Though only the flight leader of the Squadron had seen battle during Belka's period of expansionism, the entire Squadron was soon assigned to the Eastern Front during the beginning of the Belkan War. It was here that the Indigo saw much success. For example, on March 30, 1995 the 51st Tactical Fighter Squadron engaged an enemy fighter squadron, believed to be the 3rd Air Division 122nd Tactical Fighter Squadron of the FATO Air Force over the FATO-Gebet Border. This engagement occurred during an operation aimed at capturing Model, Gebetan City. Flight leader Dimitri Heinreich alone shot down nine F-14D Super Tomcats within five minutes of the battle's start. On April 20 of that same year, the Indigo Squadron was redirected over Area B7R, Belka on their way back to base. The team's objective was to shoot down Galm Team of the Ustian Air Force conducting recon on the Round Table. Indigo was not unfamiliar with the area; however, the two aircraft overwhelmed the Belkan fighters, and shot them all down. Which addon(s) are required? What is it? It's a paintscheme for the F-15E Strike Eagle of the Osean Air Defence Force, 8th Air Division, 32nd Fighter Squadron, 2nd Flight "Sorcerer", from the game Ace Combat Zero. The 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Sorcerer" was a squadron that consisted of eight F-15S/MTDs. First seen by the player during the second battle that took place over Area B7R, also known as the "Round Table". The squadron is very experienced in combat, since they were one of the first and last Osean fighter squadrons on being sent to the front lines during the Belkan War in 1995. They commonly operated within the Belkan Round Table, meaning that each pilot gained experience quickly. However, they began to support their cause less as time went on. Eventually they defected. They joined an organization known as A World With No Boundaries and became a key part of the organization's operations. It is believed that their squadron leader was a founding member, but there is no solid information on this accusation. I've chosen to use the F-15E model over Fastcargo's excellent F-15 Active as that file already has an outstanding Sorcerer skin by Kei Nagase. The F-15E was also already in service in 1995, the year the game takes place in, so it's not too lore-unfriendly. Even though the Strike Eagle may be slower and less manoeuvrable than the Active, I think the Sorcerer pilots would appreciate AMRAAM and air-to-ground capability. I've also included a post-defection paint scheme as I found it weird that the defectors would still be using their own nation's symbols and flags when joining a terrorist organisation dedicated to tearing down borders. What is it? It's a paintscheme for the F-5E Tiger II for the Osean Air Defence Force (or Defense if you're American, or in this case, Osean), 5th Fighter Wing, 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron 'Wardog" from the game Ace Combat 5. The 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wardog", also referred to as Wardog Squadron, was an auxiliary squadron of the Osean Air Defense Force's 5th Fighter Wing stationed at Sand Island Air Force Base. Wardog Squadron was at the forefront of the Circum-Pacific War from its onset. The squadron underwent several changes in command the first day of the war and went on to serve in many of the war's decisive engagements. The Wardog pilots' tactical efficiency was lauded by the Osean military and feared by the Yuktobanians, earning them several nicknames—most famously, "The Demons of Razgriz". Wardog Leader - Jack "Heartbreak" Bartlett - (003) Wardog 4 (Later Wardog Leader) - "Blaze" (The Player) - (016) Wardog 2 - Kei "Edge" Nagase - (007) Wardog 3 - Alvin "Chopper" Davenport - (008) Wardog 4 - Hans "Archer" Grimm - (024) Which addon(s) are required? WW2 ETO/MTO Naval Units -- Something for the ETO/MTO players -- = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *Note: in particular, these are designed for use in a WW2 ETO/MTO mods folders built =FROM= the SF2NA.exe. No others seem to have whatever coding is needed (at least in my testing) for proper CVBG formation. Be advised, it will absolutely =NOT= work in 1stGens. Please also note, that the WW2 EAW ETO map, even the (as yet) unfinshed rebuild will NOT contain NA style ship-specific zones, as it lacks enough 'sea room' for maunvering.* Most of these ships are mods of Hinchbrooks's or Geo's, reflagged and slightly tweeked. Some you may have already, and have transfered over to you ETO & MTO games, as they've been used on several terrain mods of mine for The Pacific War ™, MTO or etc.. These will replace them. I'm no Naval Archetiect, so "those that know", please make any needed corrections and upload! When discoverable, armor values reflect Real Life ™. Names lists have been created for all. REMINDER: if you have these ships already, you may want to back up the originals, as this pack WILL completly replace/overwrite them!!!! REMEMBER: For the most part, these are "stand in" ships!!! and may not reflect the full capabilities of their Real Life ™ counterparts. (Or, in some cases, even look like them) Unless otherwise indicated, all ships were originally created by Hinchbrook a loooooooong time ago. This pack contains naval units for the Royal Navy and German Kriegsmarine, and a few French Navy ships thrown in for good measure. Some of these are repeats from the PTO Naval Units pak; no US Navy ships are included. You can transfer them from the PTO, if necessary. HMS Attacker Class CVE HMS Eagle CV HMS Formidable CV HMS Nelson Class BB HMS Victorious CV Renown Class BB (aka: "Repulse") Tribal Class DD (rebuilt from Daring) Leander/Dido class CL - rebuilt from Foch Suffren Class CA (French, aka "Foch") Malin Class DD KriegCruiser (includes cruisers and "pocket battleships") KriegDestroyer KriegFlakDestroyer In another subfolder, called "z-MTO sepcific", are the Italian Regia Marina ships: Conte di Cavour Class BB Condottieri Class CL/CA Navigatori Class DD a 'generic' MTB, and... a KM Graf Zepplin Class CV, a "what If.." rebuild from the Formidable lod. This is slightly beter than the original I'd done some years back, based off EAGLE. Of course, we lack Lufwaffe carrier capable aircraft...but, what the heck, right? Still working a FN Bearn stand-in.... All ships include a full "Names.lst". These are JUST the surface combatants; there are no support/supply ships included, other than a 'generic' minesweeper. Make sure you have the WW2 Nations ini that includes the Nazi Germany and WW2 Italy. It's available at the following URL: http://combatace.com/files/file/13095-ww2-nations-formations-inis/ It should be noted at this time, I am NOT a Naval Archeitect, and pretty much all these ships need SOMEBODY to go through them and add the 2ndary and Tertiary AAA batteries - expecially the Cruisers, Battleships, and stand-in Destroyers. Included are the ships sounds wavs, and my SoundList.ini. If you have an extracted soundlist, just edit your existing one to add the 2 sounds. It's also advisable to have the WW2 Guns pak, as it includes the Naval Artillery. It's available at the following URL: http://combatace.com/files/file/13268-guns-pak-for-ww2-mods-folders/ However, some new guns ARE included for the RN boats. NOTE: WW2 Gunpack Updated 4/23/2013 to include some missing naval guns. As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Where possible, and if I still had them, original readmes are included. Reminder: a lot of these vessels are really old (2004/05), and therefore do NOT have multiple main gun installations or secondary/tertiary batteries; those that do, have been jiggered into being, and =DO= need further tweeking. Due to their age, "they are as they is". Of course, if someone wants to build new ones.....<grin> Remember, they are all pretty much 'stand ins', but do work relatively well. With thanks to ALL our Shipbuilders!! wrench kevin stein
