1 pointI've been practicing at this for a while and finally got good enough to be crappy lol I just wanted to share this moment with you. Honestly I think I need to adjust some settings with the throttle so they can be more sensitive.
-
1 pointWhat the title says; is there a way to lock service markings for a specific skin? I don't want to be able to change the service markings in the menu, on a number of skins I am making. I'd like to have that option greyed-out, as seen for the unit markings here below.
-
1 pointI checked it. It seems that the game sees any decals with no DecalLevel line as a nation-specific decal (the default value for this parameter seems to be 0). Try reinserting the 'DecalLevel=' line but with a different value (e.g. 'DecalLevel=2'). Do not use 1, because the squadron selection would become active again.

1 pointno its ok....sorted wingspan 11.43 m so easy to calculate tank ..ty m8 grey box is actual A dimensions...then scaled up drawing to fit.minus landing gear......so now the tank will be right scale....see.?....lol
-
1 pointokeee dokeee can size it using the drawing and a model...i can scale it in 3ds max using the wingspan as a template...make box in 3ds max same size as the wihgspan then the tank will be in scale. voila lol A\B and C 11.43m

I like the Kai cockpit..seems fitting for a one seater F4

1 pointDo you have nation-specific entries (the ones that have 'DecalLevel=0' lines) in your Decals.ini? If so, remove the 'DecalLevel=0' lines.

1 pointNice action shots. I notice that you have shadows turned off, is there a reason for that?

1 pointI think GKABS is using my Iraq terrain. Some TODs have the tree graphics not defined so they do not appear in-game. It is this way by my decision and design, on a number of tiles. So please, do not mess with this. If @mue ever brings us a TOD editor, I'll gladly make better TODs from scratch.
-
1 pointtrue, that "cross shape' does look like one of those wonderful 3W tree shapes. Try turning off "Show TOD Objects" or whatever it is, and see if it goes away. If it does, that's what it is. Then you'll have to load the terrain up in the 3W Terrain editor, figure out what tile that is, and edit the Solid & Alpha objects (if the tile's ini is available; if not, you'll have to build a new one)

1 pointI think it's a TOD object (a tree) and therefore not listed in the target list window. You can show/hide TOD objects via View->Show TODs or the respective toolbar button. TOD objects are contained in *.tod files. TOD files are associated with tiles (textures) via the <terrain>_data.ini.

1 pointThank you Jackson. Fully modded, FE2 is an amazing flight sim and the visuals are great too. I'm flying it again more and more after a small break to do some tweaks for WOFFue. Latest pics. from the Eastern front, an afternoon mission against the rare Pfalz and Fokker Eindecker, and then a lone-wolf mission early in the morning (using the modified mission control and formation ini files from my FM update pack to give lonely and often empty skies, as historical for these obscure theaters). Lone-wolf missions are particularly challenging. I'm thinking of flying a bunch of missions, this time for the Eastern front, using my DiD Rules that I came up with a while back, for even more immersion (https://combatace.com/forums/topic/92423-did-style-single-missions-for-fe2/). Happy flying, Von S

1 pointBuccaneer S2 masquerading as the... Buccaneer S1 !!! I know it's a bit poor, but it was mainly to share my files : ) Donwload the textures from Russouk's Buccaneer S1 conversion here : and then you could use my files with the Buccaneer S2 LODs (4 LODs to use from the Ravenclaw's FAA Buccaneer release) : SF2_Buccaneer-S1.rar And here's the link for the Buccaneer S1 serial numbers, just in case someone would create more TGAs ^^ http://www.ukserials.com/results.php?serial=XN ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you're still dinosauring in SF1/WOx (like me), here's my files for the Buccaneer S1 with the Buccaneer S2 LOD (only 1 LOD) : Buccaneer-S1.rar But you will have to convert the S1 textures to bmps (and maybe other things I forget...) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will enjoy the De Havilland Gyron Junior underpowered Buccaneer, with a downgraded cockpit Good luck... All minmaxextent positions updated, collision points, etc... Any question, complain ? PM at combatace -> Cliff7600 Thanks
