When those pesky reds try to sink your fleet, who you gonna call? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ F-15SE arsenal bird at your service. 24x AIM-120s (External) 4x AIM-9s (Internal) (PS. Refuelling Tankers to get it to the AOR not included) Minus the B-1R, this is probably the most amount of slammers you can get on a fighter (semi-realistically?) with no clipping / overlapping. Thanks to angelp (the 3AR racks) and the F-14Z Team (the mini 2AR racks)

The problem with the Aussie fire is it's speed. A friend of mine is a forest firefighter in the Province of Quebec and volounteered to go there. He said that in a blink of an eye the fire made giant leaps, even over their safe zones. So the rain will be their salvation as for now because they can hardly fight the beast right now. My thoughts and prayers are for all the souls there!

pero nunca voy a estar conforme si no logro un mapa mas realista, podría tardar mucho tiempo crear todos los azulejos y no seria algo para tarjetas de vídeo medias.

The Hot Dog Stand is over a decade old; time for the new 2020 “Swambast” overhaul edition! This version is based on an actual hot dog stand known as “The Dog House.” It was owned by Dick Portillo who spent his family’s life savings to open up a hot dog stand in 1963. The hot dog stand was originally inside a cramped trailer located 18 miles west of Chicago, Illinois (USA). In my opinion, my version does a good (not great) job of replicating the original considering the FPS/performance balance I wanted to maintain. Also, I took it off the trailer and made it more of a solid fixture. As always, I get suckered by details, so I added in the working "grill smoke" and a delicious “hot dog combo meal.” Also, thought it would be fun to create a custom destroyed model that has burnt hot dogs scattered everywhere (). Working on a few final tweaks including hit boxes/collision mesh but should be ready soon. P.S. @Wrench: time for your “Wrench’s Weiners” hot dog stand to be updated. PM me with some details and I’d be happy to make it for you. Also, might have a surprise for you regarding the early genre firetruck you were looking for at one point.

It very sad to see how big parts of Australia become victim of mega size forest fires. Its very sad. But always if i see the pictures i ask myself, wheter the firefighters do their job properly. I remember a day during my military duty time in East Germany. It happend during a shooting training in summer. It was hot and dry. One burst of tracer ammo missed the target and caused a fire. In astonishingly short time the fire became bigger and bigger and went out of control. Me and my comrades were orderd to fight the fire at all costs, with all what we had. And to be honest, we had not very much, only our small military spades, which we called Muckerlöffel or UB-1 which stand ironically for Universalbagger (universal excavator). We shoveling the hole day and we had no chance against the fire. The forest was lost. That all guys thought. No chance. But then, we heared tank engines and short afterwards 3 pionier tanks T-55TK arrived the area. Each tank was equipped with a dozer plate. The tankers said to us: "Nice try, but now look how the profis make it the right way." The drove back some hundred meters and started to make a path (glade) mid in the forest. It needed some time, but when they finished in the forest was a deep scar of pure soil, no tree, no plant, a scar as wide as a german Autobahn. Then the boss of the tankers came to us and asked who of us had match packages. Of course all of us had matches, because lighters were rare in East Germany. Then the officers stuck his finger in his mouth, checked from which direction the wind came, and then he gave us the order enemyward ( word by wort translation of "Feindwärts", what means the direction, where the enemy is, comarable with starboard and backbord on ships) of the paved glad to light small fires. We should make two steps, then light the gras, make two steps, light the gras and so on and so on. We started to burn down the forest, but in a controlled and slow way. Our "counter fire" had to crawl against the wind, so that it not was able to become big and fast. When the big, hot and fast forets fire reached the "defence line", our small fire had "eaten" all trees and plants, so that the big fire had no food anymore and broke down in a astonishingly short time. Mid next day the fire was out. We sacrificed a smaller part of forest to save the much bigger part. We fought fire with fire. And we won. In this summer in Germany was also a big forest fire which the firefighters were unable to handle. The smoke was to smell 500 km away. After some days, when the civil authorities acknoledged, that they were unable to stop the fire they asked the Bundeswehr for help. 2 or 3 days later the Bundeswehr pionier tanks started to fight the forest fire in the same way like in my military time. After 3 days the forest fire was defeated. Perhaps the Aussis should do it in the same way. Fight fire with fire. Edit. I forgot to post a picture of the east german pionier tanks. T-55TK. Its a very helpfull beast.

Happy New Year to all!!! Decided that some WW2 fighters need to be updated so I am starting with the German He-219A-7. 4096 x 4096 to replace the 2048 skins now available. Having fun doing it... Top view port wing

Thanks Wrench, glad you like them - it was actually pretty fun so thought I'd keep the momentum going... Well now that you said that, how about having a choice? Thought I'd start with the Mid-East variant. I did some research and came up with this low-poly highly optimized design with modeling time about 2 minutes, and texture time in hours...LOL Anyway, hope it is another upgrade option for your Mid East "Falfael King"...

About the shadow, it's the same setting I found in Peter01's Hansa-Brandenburg FM (basically the same plane with different engine). Maybe he was trying to save some framerate, I don't Know. About the ammo, I really don't know, as I have no info about that. Again it's based in the old Hansa-Brandenburg DI we had. Surely VonS has better data about it.

I found that your Hansa_BrandenburgDI_E.ini mainfile in the Shadow section says “FALSE” instead of “TRUE” [Shadow] CastShadow = FALSE <------------------------ ??? ShadowCastDist = 10000 MaxVisibleDistance = 800 Why? As far as I remember, this old model had no problems with displaying shadows. In my opinion, the shadows give the impression of a living volume. A plane without shadows looks flat and "unrealistic." In addition, the MaxAmmo=350 - is a big exaggeration. So many cartridges would simply not fit in a cramped 'baby coffin' (officially it was called Type-II VK). There is generally little information on this machine. As they write in the book of the Windsock Datafile, in the 'baby coffin' there was a 'reduced' tape, but they did not write how much was reduced. We know that the standard Schwarzlose М07/12 infantry machine gun feed system was made with a 250-round cloth belt (or, rare,100-round). So, In my opinion, the ammunition of this aircraft did not exceed 100 bullets.

oh my f-king g*d!!!! the one I've been using all these years is from Major Lee, and I believe HE got it from the 3W sim "First Flight" (flying the Wright 03 FLyer). Of course, I'll still use the old one for various countries (Falafal King in the Mid-East, or on the Vietnam 48 map -see below) OUTSTANDING!! DA, are you sure it was bombed from above, or destroyed via an "internal" explosion of escaping gasses???
