    Third Wire MiG-23MLD update & flyable for SF2 - Made flyable with the MLD cockpit and avionics available here at CA by Stary - Leading edge flaps fixed to now automatically deploy during manoeuvring as they did on the MLD with the type 3 wing. - Radar data and performance is corrected from the S-23MLA radar to the S-23MLA-II radar as fitted in the MLD. - KDS-23 countermeasure dispenser installed in the centreline drop tank pylon. This is a 12 shot chaff/ flare countermeasure dispenser that could be used once the drop tank had been jettisoned. - Ejection seat (from ODS mod) and more suitable pilot added. - Canopy can be opened and closed. - Primary and secondary roles expanded to reflect the evolution of the MLD version of the MiG-23 into a more multi role fighter platform. - Loadouts enhanced and corrected. Some Afghanistan specific ones added. - Used of Kh-25M air-to-surface missile and datalink pod added. - Fuselage AA-8 positions corrected. - Removed ECM jammer. - Updated weapons from the RSSW 099 mod. - Various Soviet- Afghan war skins added.     Holes textures must match same texture mapping and texture names and of your aircraft skin, just with "_holes" at the end of each texture name. For instance, if your aircraft skin folder does have "body1.jpg", "tail1.jpg", "wingl.jpg" and "wingr.jpg" textures, you'll want to create "body1_holes.tga", "tail1_holes.tga", "wingl_holes.tga" and "wingr_holes.tga" (even .dds works, but you'll need to correct the listed extension in the main aircraft .ini). Holes must be placed according to the texture mapping of each skin bit. Easier way would be to utilize layers.

    Just playing out a fantasy. I've gone ahead and attached the mission file in case any of you like the idea of supporting a British armored unit with @guuruu's GR.1 and have the SAM & Tanks bundles... plus Jaguars... plus Fitters.     For now, Quang To and Ben Loi airfields have been removed. They are not used in SF2V's campaigns and serve no real purpose. Additional, important Blue Side airports have been added instead. Here's a quick comparison between stock and remake (there are lots of details you won't notice from these shots). All airfields have been moved to their correct locations with their correct runway headings, plus lots of tiling fixes throughout the terrain, with the addition of cities, accurate river courses and lakes, especially in the center of the terrain (which is just a barren jungle in the stock terrain).     SF2 DHC-1 Chipmunk Pack 2/25/2020 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended, plus Exp 1) This is a remake & reissue of the the DHC-1 Chipmunk trainer aircraft first released in 2008 by "Big Al". It has been reworked to bring it more into compliance with SF2 standards, as best as possbile. Be advised, there are a number of issues & flaws; they are enumerated in the "Notes" section. This is the full aircraft, with all necessary parts. The skin maps, still in bmp format, have been slightly repainted to allow the use of decals for insignia, 'plane-in-squad' letters and serial numbers. Serial numbers, while historically accurate for the version depicted, should be considered generic in nature. Decal randomizaion is TRUE. As exported is TRUE, a user list has been created. It does not list all the Chipmunk's export users. End Users (tm) are encouraged to fill it in as needed. While this is an exceptionally old model, the canopy does work via standard manual animation keystroke (Shift/0 -zero). Expansion Pack 1 is required for the destroyed model (Spitfire). If you do not have it, you'll have to find another to use in it's place. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Please see the "Notes" section for a list of changes to make the aircraft more SF2 compliant, and certain other explinations.     Glad you're enjoying the pack. As to a different cockpit, you could probably drop a different one in, but I have no idea about how to port a cockpit to work in ThirdWire games from a different format/game.
