This is a long-awaited project (April 9th will be a year from starting the project) requested by my friend, tiopilotos, without him I wouldn't think of making these models. The models are completed and as soon as tiopilotos completes making of the data files and researching the information and testing (without this is just a static model) we will share this with you all.

New updates on recent progress. First of all, apologies to keep you guys waiting. Unfortunately, RL is a toll for everyone. The add-on will be ready when it's ready. From time to time new things that need improvement are found, but we're almost there. @yakarov79 has been instrumental in making the new cockpit 3d model; me and him have constantly worked together to bring you a nicer, more realistic Raptor cockpit; by realistic, I mean that MFDs have got a new layout to better resemble what the real Raptor's cockpit has got, within SF2 engine limitations of course. Julhelm has been very kind to allow yakarov79 to improve upon his previous 3d model. Here below a few comparison shots: Old cockpit 3d model by Julhelm, avionics by Crusader New cockpit 3d model by yakarov79, textures by yakarov79 and yours truly; avionics update by Crusader, reworked by yours truly. Since the package will keep you waiting some more, I added new extras to it; the skin pack will feature the below skin, directly inspired by Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. Such a Raptor skin was part of a DLC of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation.

My wingman missed with his second missile, so our launch rails are empty and we are heading home. Touchdown! Finding a parking spot because it's now Miller time!

Hello, everyone, I would like to get your assistant one more time, if anyone has any blueprint of good photos or information about the length and width and so on that, I can use to model M51 Skysweeper. that will be appreciated.

I may be all out of ARMs, but my wingman wants a piece of the action. It is the same story as before. And it has the same ending, too.

Taking off to hit air defenses surrounding an enemy air force base. En route to the target, loaded for bear! Taking a shot with a Standard ARM. Say good bye to the ZSU-23-4! It's a hit!

I guess my all time fav helo is the H-19, probably because of movies like "Battle Taxi", scenes from 'Flgith from Asaiya' and lots of over movies from the 1950s. Also the US Postal Service used them here in LA, and i remember my Dad taking me to see a letter pickup here at Santa Monica Airport when I was VERY young (maybe 5-7 yo??? -- so long ago...)

Put this even If the B-51 never passed the proto status, after all it flew, even If not in operational squadrons. What could have been... Had to be the spearhead of the NATO attack on a radar site... The B51 is a fun to fly, is pretty unforviging, specially at low alts and speeds. Crossed the border.. Target hit Getting back to base.

I built a 'fake' stand in one several year ago ... I'll look around for any books or such. If you need the ground object to cross check or use as a basis for yours, let me know and I'll send it over (it uses the British 3.7in AAA gun as the lod -- as I said, it's a stand in!) here's some links https://weaponsystems.net/system/421-M51+Skysweeper https://www.net-maquettes.com/pictures/75mm-m51-skysweeper-walkaround/

I can send you templates if you want to do some Luftwaffe camos. It will be easy and fast to do Luftwaffe planes after MFG, so every help is welcome.

I didn't start any other camo. I used to have too much job with 3d, cause this model is seriously reworked.

ok, so would we be able to see a Privateer here one day (preferably sooner than later)? again, it would be nice to have a recon version for cold war as well, and there were actually many operators (USN, USCG, Aeronavale, Canada, fire bombers and a few airlines). as Roger Rabbit said, p p p pp p p p p p puh leeeeeze? mandatory screenie: yet another thats gotta get new clothes

For now, Quang To and Ben Loi airfields have been removed. They are not used in SF2V's campaigns and serve no real purpose. Additional, important Blue Side airports have been added instead. Here's a quick comparison between stock and remake (there are lots of details you won't notice from these shots). All airfields have been moved to their correct locations with their correct runway headings, plus lots of tiling fixes throughout the terrain, with the addition of cities, accurate river courses and lakes, especially in the center of the terrain (which is just a barren jungle in the stock terrain). Aegean blue ... You know, the Aegean sea looks the same color as the deep blue in the pic above. It'd be nice If we could have something similar..

F-111s out of Nellis on a Red Flag hop... CATM-9M/ACMI combo just in case we run into some Aggressors.. Target clobbered.. Too late, an F-5E ramps down to intercept.. Then his wingman pops up in head-on attack, so I light the 'burners and roll inverted to spoil his angles... Then it's on the deck all the way home..

Last summer, I enjoyed a trip in Albania (took off from Tirana and took pictures over Durrës just 4 hours before the major earthquake that mauled the area on 21 September, by the way!) There, I visited the nice medieval Castle in Gjirokastra, which was once the National Museum of Arms during the Communist era (still contains dozens of WW2 artillery guns). And on the top of this fortress, I unexepectedly stumbled on this wreckage faded by 50 years of careless outdoor exposure. On 23 December 1957, this USAF Lockheed T-33A Shooting Star (number 51-04413) was forced to land by two or three MiG-15bis, while flying off-course over Communist Albania during a transit from France to Greece. Major Howard J. Curran claimed he planned to land anyway due to instruments failure and lack of fuel; he was relased as soon as 9 January 1958. The plane has been exhibited in Gjirokaster since 1969, as a captured spy-plane and a war trophy over the Imperialist powers. Typical Cold War era...
