A companion....yoke was proving a bore as it went through the clipboard...but it seems in the DC series you ould lock the yoke,so I have limited its movement for copilot version...will have pilot...and one with co pilot...looking at pic...might put left hand on the levers(red) and other holding clipboard up a bit higher so it misses the yoke. btw this is from Freeware FSX Dc-3 HCAA model...most of it I remade anyways...all gauges buttons lights.panel ..some of the other parts etc...its about 40% rebuilt

I wish.. ..unfortunately only a small fraction of that time was spent on the model; the remainder of the time was taken up by my trying to survive this10-year long financial crisis!! Fret not; once I've finished the Mk7 and Mk10 ejection seats required by some of the Greek F-5a(s), it will be released! Regards, Sophocles

Will have .. I' currently modelling the Mk.7 BRQ-7 (probably more accurate would be the IRQ-7.. then comes the 10 (and yes; it was used on the Tornado!!) That will make it 3 different types of ejection seat!

I use things such as RN_Desert and others to control both timeframe and geographic fencing for planes. For instance in my all inclusive install that's how I make sure I don't get CF-5 showing up in Bering Strait (because BS is only open to Canada_NORAD and the CF-5 only belongs to Canada_Europe) or CF-101 showing up in Germany (because of course, Gemany only accepts Canada_Europe and the CF-101 is only used by Canada_NORAD). It also allows me to have theater specific squadrons/skins (making sure no Atlantic Fleet Tomcat squadron ends up in the Pacific and vice-versa unless it makes sense for the scenario). But yep that should never, ever be your first solution, insanity lies that way. Good thing I already was.

OK, good luck - and as Russ says send to us via PM if you want a different perspective on things.. And Russ is right, your final modifier should really be editable mesh and the recommended way to export properly is to collapse the entire stack to editable mesh.
  23. 2 points
Well if you XFormed it and it had errors in it you're basically stuck as you can't really undo that - if the orig mesh has issues and you Xform it will definitely make your problem worse. Before Xform, go back to your original mesh and ensure you don't have issues such as open edges, unwelded verts, double-faces that kind of thing. Then I would suggest converting the wheel to editable mesh (not editable poly as there is a difference) - and see if that works. Or just upload your max file or just the wheel or whatever if you want and I'm sure between one of us we can take a quick look.

Dear friends! We would like to congratulate you on the very important holiday - 75th Anniversary of the Victory in Europe! On this day 75 years ago the hard and long road to peace, that cost millions of lives, has finally come to its end at the European theater of the world war. The people of all nations got a second chance to live. Let's remember the heroic deeds of our ancestors and be thankful to them - even though that today's crisis and problems are significant, they can't be compared to the gravity of the situation and the hardships of those years of war. The life that was given to us by the heroic deed of our ancestors continues. Coincidentally, this is a small anniversary for our project, which is entirely dedicated to the World War II events, as well - you're reading its 250th Developers Blog. Our work on the sim also continues - in 2 or 3 weeks we plan to release the next update 4.006. It will bring not only the new player controllable machines - Yak-9 and Yak-9T Collector Planes and SU-152 assault gun for Tank Crew - but also the fundamental changes in the graphics engine: the renderer will be switched to Deferred Shading. At the moment this update is already in the beta testing and our team is working on debugging and finalizing it. The changelist will be a long one once again, it already includes more than 50 changes in different areas of the sim. To illustrate what these renderer changes add to the visuals, we want to show you the in-game screenshots of Yak-9T, which is a good aircraft to display the new graphical capabilities: Another pic we want to show you the WIP model of the early war German pilot which will be used in BoM, BoS and BoK timeframes. It's going to appear in the project a bit later, but it won't be a long wait:

Sorry being late for party.. I just wanna say "THANK YOU" very much to anyone who involved and spent their valuable time, sweat, money and maybe blood to create these masterpieces. As an amateur military scale-modeller, and not-so-hardcore NAM era enthusiast, what you guys done are helping me so much, to transform idea, skin & decal job, data and info to my works. and to pass boredom during COVID Lockdown & soc-distancing. once again, sorry for my limited English.. (my 10 years kid speak fluently than I do.. 😣) Thanks so much, Terima Kasih.. 🤗 Sincerely..Wings over Vietnam Vet.. since.. Pentium IV..

We're nearly there gentlemen.. I'll try to put a small update log together later this week.. so much terrific work has been done by the team! Baffmeister has been brilliant; putting the final touches on his F-5a flight model, Crusader has been responsible for much of the avionics work ..(more on that later!) and ofcourse, RavenClaw; who has made the RF-5a model possible (which I have to admit I'd failed on numerous attempts!) Currently been focused on completing the textures on the first release pack which will feature Hellenic Air Force liveries from the 60s to the 90s.. pretty close, I think.. and 1 more..
