Reworked pack of RF-101A and C VooDoo. Generally old good VooDoo in new dresses. There are big changes in FM model thanks to baffmeister in data.ini files - so Backup your original file. You might not like it. In game you will find new aircrafts under names *RF-101A VooDoo *RF-101C VooDoo '58 *RF-101C VooDoo '66 note that RF-101C '58 uses non-RWR - VooDoo A cockpit. All new skins in 3072x3072 resolution. New bump maps and specular maps. also in 3072.. plus decals to cover A and C models serial numbers. Pack contains several skin sets for both models. With all research, I was trying to be correct as much as possible. RF-101A have also one skin/decal set which contains few decal skin sets to cover experimental camo trials conducted in mid 60s. Regarding colorful aircraft serial numbers: 54-1513 some say it was dark green some that really black. more info goes towards black so I painted it black (like Rolling Stones in 1966) 54-1514 first was painted similar as represented in this pack, then it was repainted with adding some brown colors. 54-1512 green/black camo with added brown during tests. All this skin set with experimental camo trial is quite complicated and hard to put correctly in-game but I hope it will work fine for you. I did not include skin sets for VooDoo operated over Vietnam. This will come in a separate package. Eventually. One day. All new decals consisting of serial numbers for block 20-35 of A version and block 45-75 for C version. Backup your original RF-101 Folders. Also Decals! PR-14A transloaders for S-125 surface to air missile system for SF2 series game. This is mostly eye candy stuff. Just to improve the visual side of the game. In this pack, you will find two new ground objects for the SA-3 family. PR-14A transloader based on ZIL-157 and ZIL-131 trucks. Both ground objects are set as transport. Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) Mostly this mod is for modders, terrain builders. Basic skins green and tan. All skins are in 2048x2048 format. So you have to resize for your own preferred size. 5P71 and 5P73 launchers for S-125 surface to air missiles for SF2 series game. This is mostly eye candy stuff. Just to improve the visual side of the game. Required weapon to run this mod is provided. In this case 5W24 and 5W27 surface to air missiles. In this pack, you will find new objects for SA-3 launchers. But no worries nothing needs to be overwritten. Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) Mostly this mod is for modders, terrain builders. Sam launchers are set to network type S-125 and S-125M. So make sure your radars are compatible. Otherwise, the radar family/network type needs to be adjusted and associated with your other SAM objects. SA-3 /S-125 family in this case. All ini files are beta....mostly to make the object working. I'm hoping someone will do correct ini edits. Only if there are still some modders around here..... So do not complain if something is not working- just edit your way. You have working lod and skins... Missiles perhaps need some more editing also. But Again this is a very basic mod and I am aware (so you should be also) that ini files should be edited further. 2 pointsother possible that happened to me is the folder being in the wrong place. to clarify, i now do my development work in a folder on a thumbdrive. allows me to work on laptop or desktop. then i transfer the updated versions to laptop to fly. but sometimes (including this weekend) i forget to transfer. therefore, shows in viewer, not in game dont know that is your issue, but the topic did stand out to me given 30 mins of frustration yesterday! one other Gimp bit of advice, relating to how you export: bmp if you go that route has to be exported in 24 bit (found in advanced options). tga you only have to deselect compression the first time you fire the program up, but so far i've had to select 24bit every time exporting a bmp. just something to throw out there

This aircraft mod represents Dassault's what-if Mirage 4000BA fighter and its trainer BB variant in the Belgian Air Force service. Since the company always created several variants of each type based on costumer requirement and evolution of technology, other national oriented types and variants will be uploaded as separate packages. This package comes with 1 skin set for each variant, with decals for BA (18 planes), and for BB (8 planes). This is the SF1 version, tested in WOE. There might be some hidden flaws in SFP1, WOV or WOI. Please report if you find some problem. ------------------------------------------------------------------- The FlightEngine.ini file is extracted from WOE, in order to edit the following part : [NearSceneClip] ... NearClipDistance=0.95 If you're using a SFP1, WOV or WOI install, make sure you can do this edit in the appropriate file. Be aware that it could have an effect on other mods (like "double canopy" issue) then you could adjust the value 0.01 to whatever you want (0.97 ? 1.0 ?) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Install is the regular dropping the contents in their respective places. Please note: The model can be quite heavy on FPS in large formations on weaker machines, so if required, either resize skin files or use lower lods(_nd,001,002,003) as lod1. The model uses the general french and NATO weapons, either as part of weapon packs or the Mirage 2000 family. Important: The BB variant comes with 2 types of cockpit, the basic setup will use a simple pit that has only the pilots cabin instrumented. The other is a fully modeled front and rear compartment, in which you want to fly you should activate the proper line in the AC's.ini file. 2 pointsI have two answers as I experimented by myself: - your decals are made with Gimp, I don't know why the lod viewer shows them, but not the game ... - you exceded the maximum decals number per mesh (es. fuselage) set in game (I don't remember the exact number after all these years and most roundels painted on textures ...). The lod viewer hasn't the same limit and shows all decals

I am working on increasing the MAX visibility distance - currently at 50-60 NM to lob ASM-3s in one case, ASM-2s in others. Your targets will range from patrol boats to Udaloys as you see below to a Slava.

This is a skin/decal set for Phabulous Phantom. Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) Pack contains skins and decals representing all F-4D users amid Air National Guard units. Skins are made for stock F-4D_78. F-4D was used between 1977 -1990 in ANG and these skins are fitting in 13 years of service. Mostly all serial numbers are correct for specific dates and units. If you will find some errors please feel free to send correction notes. No ini files for this as this is only skin sets. Just simply add skin folders to your favorite F-4D_78. Or create a new, specific one for ANG use. You will find that some aircraft wear kill marks as in real life. If you want to have your own kill marks you have to modify decal.ini file. To fully enjoy this skin set you need to have ThirdWire F-4D_78. All skins are done in 2048x2048 based on Sundowners and Ravenclaw's work. Brand new Bump files in 2048x2048. All decals made by me. 1 pointSorry this thread's been dead for so long. Work has continued on an "as able" basis. Although I admit playing around with the F-111 is a bit more fun than backroom stuff. Backroom Stuff Backroom stuff? Just made these two screens today: Granted, I'm probably going to replace the top one in the near future. But at least now when I boot this build up, it looks like a JASDF 2020 SF2 sim and not a Vietnam War sim! Working on background music as well. Hit a brick wall this morning importing this very JASDF song so went to this instead. GOT SOME NEW JETS... You'll have to pay close attention to see all of the new red jets coming. But the new MiG-31 is going to be a big hit. Also the Su-30SM with a more realistic/timely skin will be a but not the primary adversary for the F-15Js. Below are a couple preview shots: Finally, one more red jet announcement: You will be splashing Il-72s also. Yet you'll also be flying sorties in the JASDF F-35A & F-2A. Stealth will be important with the big radars of big jets you'll be up against, but also you'll be leading the grand finale maritime strike needing both ASM-3s and IR bombs. "WHAT IF" Also I've had some ideas of some "What If" scenarios that will be uploaded separately. Scenarios like: What if there was a JMSDF AEGIS destroyer helping cover the cargo ships getting away from the Kurils? What if that same JMSDF Aegis Destroyer was returning when the Russians mounted their alpha strike? What if a JASDF F-4 Phantom attempted a photo recon run of Russian ships? How close could it get before getting shot down, even with say... F-2A and/or F-15J escort? What if the JASDF bought from the RAAF as an interim strike-fighter the... RAAF F-111. To keep the F-111 airworthy for 10-15 years until sufficient F-35As would come online, the F-111 would be only for maritime strike and maritime reconnaissance with a Japanese F-2A radar & such to support the latest JASDF weapons. Rarely flown as the F-111s serve as JASDF's "big stick" against invasion attempts of its outlying islands to replace the F-1 + F-4 + a significant number of F-2Bs destroyed in the 2011 tsunami at a bargain basement cost. Figure this update should whet our shared appetites.

1 pointWhat I've learned so far about the decals system: Position=a,b defines the position of the center of the decal texture at the aircraft in meters. a,b are either the x,y-, y,z- or y,z- coordinates depending on DecalFacing. If DecalFacing is TOP or BOTTOM then its the x,y coordinates, if LEFT or RIGHT its y,z and if FRONT(?) or BACK(?) its x,z. In the lod viewer you can move the mouse pointer over the aircraft and the x,y,z coordinates are shown in the status bar at the bottom. Scale defines the size of the decal in meters. E.g. a Scale of 1.0 means that the decal has the size of 1x1m on the aircraft, a Scale of 0.5 means a size of 0.5x0.5m...

All ini files are beta....mostly to make the object working - rotate radar mast, bend etc. Station is set as SAM radar and is connected to SA-3 radar network I'm hoping someone will do correct ini edits. Sukhoi Su-25T Tankovy & Sukhoi Su-25SM Frogfoot for SF2 The Su-25T (Tankovy) is a dedicated antitank version, which has been combat-tested with notable success in Chechnya. The design of the aircraft is similar to the Su-25UB ( unification of 85%). The variant was converted to one-seater, with the rear seat replaced by additional avionics. It has all-weather and night attack capability. In addition to the full arsenal of weapons of the standard Su-25, the Su-25T can employ the KAB-500Kr TV-guided bomb, KH-58 ARM, R-73, MPS-410 ECM Pod and the semi-active laser-guided Kh-25ML. Its enlarged nosecone houses the Shkval optical TV and aiming system with the Prichal laser rangefinder and target designator. It can also carry Vikhr laser-guided, tube-launched missiles, which is its main antitank armament. For night operations, the low-light TV Merkuriy pod system can be carried under the fuselage. Three Su-25Ts prototypes were built in 1983–86 and 8 production aircraft were built in 1990. With the introduction of a definitive Russian Air Force Su-25 upgrade programme, in the form of Stroyevoy Modernizirovannyi, the Su-25T programme was officially canceled in 2000. The Su-25SM (Stroyevoy Modernizirovannyi) is an "affordable" upgrade programme for the Su-25, conceived by the Russian Air Force in 2000. The programme stems from the attempted Su-25T and Su-25TM (aka Su-39) upgrades, which were evaluated and labelled as over-sophisticated and expensive. The SM upgrade incorporates avionics enhancements and airframe refurbishment to extend the Frogfoot's service life by up to 500 flight hours or 5 years. The Su-25SM's all-new PRnK-25SM "Bars" navigation/attack suite is built around the BTsVM-90 digital computer system, originally planned for the Su-25TM upgrade programme. Navigation and attack precision provided by the new suite is three times better of the baseline Su-25. A new KA1-1-01 Head-Up Display (HUD) was added providing, among other things, double the field of view of the original ASP-17BTs-8 electro-optical sight. Other systems and components incorporated during the upgrade include a Multi-Function Display (MFD), RSBN-85 Short Range Aid to Navigation (SHORAN), ARK-35-1 Automatic Direction Finder (ADF), A-737-01 GPS/GLONASS Receiver, Karat-B-25 Flight Data Recorder (FDR), Berkut-1 Video Recording System (VRS), Banker-2 UHF/VHF communication radio, SO-96 Transponder and a L150 "Pastel" RWR. The R-95Sh engines have been overhauled and modified with an anti-surge system installed. The system is designed to improve the resistance of the engine to ingested powders and gases during gun and rocket salvo firing. The combination of reconditioned and new equipment, with increased automation and self-test capability has allowed for a reduction of pre- and post-flight maintenance by some 25 to 30%. Overall weight savings are around 300 kg (660 lb). Su-25SM weapon suite has been expanded with the addition of the Vympel R-73 highly agile air-to-air missile (without helmet mounted cuing) and the S-13T 130 mm rockets (carried in five-round B-13 pods). Further, the Kh-25ML and Kh-29L Weapon Employment Profiles have been significantly improved, permitting some complex missile launch scenarios to be executed, such as: firing two consecutive missiles on two different targets in a single attack pass. The GSh-30-2 cannon (250-round magazine) has received three new reduced rate-of-fire modes: 750, 375 and 188 Rounds per Minute. Like the Su-25T it can carry the MPS-410 ECM Pod. The eventual procurement programme is expected to include between 100 and 130 kits, covering 60 to 70 percent of the Russian Air Force active single-seat fleet, as operated in the early 2000s. The Su-25SM has been operating over Syria in 2015. Special note on the Vikhr rocket launcher tubes: TLR/ ATR weapons rack can only carry a maximum of 6 LGR missiles but the Vikhr rocket launcher for the Su-25T carries 8. As a work around there are two 8 tube ATR launchers that are different 'rack specific' weapon stations but have the exact same position. One of the launchers holds 6 LGR the other holds just 2. The missiles are positioned on the ATR racks so the one that holds 2 fills in the empty tubes of the ATR that holds 6. The Loadout.ini will loads both racks correctly but it is not possible to manually load them and get 8 rockets in the tubes, you will only get 6 if you do it manually. To install: Drop into your Mods folder Included in the ‘optional’ folder is a modified NATO Fighters 5 1986 Red Storm (WP) Campaign to include the Su-25T. It will show up an extra campaign named “861019 Red Storm (WP) Su-25T” and will not affect any of the other NATO Fighters campaigns.
