Fuselage , cowling ,tail, stabilizers all mapped on two textures (top on one bottom on other,or sides...) now one texture each side...(top and bottom left on same texture etc) fuselage was on two maps now on its own.and was rather bad,had to remove a lot of polys and redo some....and then realign mapping etc.... tail was blocky so added few polys to make better... cowling was same as fuselage, now its one mesh but mapped on same tax as fuse etc... engines detail was poor so added better detailed mesh...props are temp .. got worst part done just about...

LOL. If western pilots do such stunts then it is a sign of outstanding skill. If the russians do the same it is unprofessional behavior. I would like to see how american press is crying if russian bombers would fly close to Florida.

Come on, this was usual behavior during cold war. No need to worry about. I remember how it was to look in a barrel of an american M-1 tank. Mock attacks from west were standard in the bad old time. No worry about. Its the behavior of young man with balls in size of a melon. They do such things. They have done it during my military time. They have done it during my fathers military time and they will do it in the next decades too. Boys!!! Simply Boys!!!

The waving is part of the standard nonverbal communication between planes during intercept missions in peacetime. Its a friendly gesture. Aggressive gesture would be flying direct in front of the intercepted plane while the wingman would fly direct behind the intercepted plane.

sadly in the 21st Century the US press would. remember a big to do about a "Russian spy ship" off the east coast waiting on a carrier group that was deploying a year ago. 30 years ago it would be called a trawler, and might not even make the ships news.
  21. 1 point
Agreed. It even waved goodbye before leaving.

A lot of the time they are friendly and chat off official channels and say hello to fellow pilots...ignoring Ivan the Terrible...back at base...doubt the Russian Pilots want War either...unlike the commisars back in ole Russkie land.

I know you're gonna fix the wheels!! . Russ, you REALLY are a machine!!! Are there other skins for this model, and will they be usable (I'm noting the FAA Martlet we're seeing now) Also, if possible, can I request the outboard gun barrels be seperate meshes, so the 'remove mesh trick' can be used to create the -3 Wildcat (4 guns)

View File SF2 Lockheed WV-2/EC-121K Pack by RussoUK SF2 Lockheed WV-2/EC-121K Pack by RussoUK 8/20/2020 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods" This package contains a new aircraft, the Lockheed WV-2/EC-121K Warning Star Airborne Early Warning and Control aircraft as used by the US Navy. This aircraft comes complete with everything needed, and has skins that represent the following units, as is my habit one Atlantic and one Pacific based units: VW-1 "Typhoon Hunters", based at Barbers Point HI & NAS Agana, Guam VW-11, based at NAS Argentia, NFLD The aircraft is presented in two finishes; overall DGNB (VW-11), and DGNB with the anti-heat white upper fuselage (VW-1). Both aircraft have 18 BuNum (serial number) decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. On the Numbers.lst, any marked with a star (*) are 100% historicaly correct for that unit, and have been matched to their Modex number. Those not marked should be considered 'generic' in nature. When in game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown menu, you'll see: WV-2/EC-121K Warning Star (R) Hopefully, will diferentiate it from any other EC-121s that you may (or may not) have, or be available. The "R" stands for RussoUK, the model maker. The "WV-2" was the original designation when the aircraft was placed in service in 1954. It was renumbered to "EC-121" in the early 1960s, during the "Great McNamara Renaming & Consolidation" of all US military aircraft. As is always reccommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Also, the credits list all the original FSX model & skin creators. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein Submitter Wrench Submitted 08/24/2020 Category Other

in the past days i was searching for pictures or drawings of a Double Ejector Rack also named Twin Store Carriage that was used on the Harrier GR1 and AV-8A and on the Alpha Jet , a similar model was used on the F-104G ( some small differences ) , on my search i found a Belgium Air Force Alpha Jet displayed with the Double Ejector Rack and German made LAU-51A rocket launchers , so i finaly can finish my LAU-51A launchers and i have some good pictures of that Double Ejector Rack , by the way does anybody know the exact name of that rack ??? or maybe the manufacturer i have now 2 versions of the LAU-51A a white one for the USAF and NATO and the green / silver one for the German Air Force , i may make a 3rd one in olive green for the USAF and Nato
