6 pointsHello, Little idea... In order to add to this very interesting topic launched by Crusader : https://combatace.com/forums/topic/88060-tw-f-16a-netz-cockpit-tweakes/?tab=comments#comment-710296 I propose the rudder pedals activation for the TW F-16A cockpit from its cockpit.ini file : [CockpitSeat001] ModelName=F-16A_Netz_pit.LOD ... ... Instrument[092]=ThreatUnknownLight Instrument[093]=ToggleMasterArm ... ... Instrument[XXX]=LeftRudder Instrument[XXX]=RightRudder ... // Rudder pedals activation [LeftRudder] Type=RUDDER_PEDAL NodeName=rudder_pedal_L MovementType=ROTATION_X Set[01].Position=5.0 Set[01].Value=-1.0 Set[02].Position=0.0 Set[02].Value=0.0 Set[03].Position=-5.0 Set[03].Value=1.0 [RightRudder] Type=RUDDER_PEDAL NodeName=rudder_pedal_R MovementType=ROTATION_X Set[01].Position=5.0 Set[01].Value=-1.0 Set[02].Position=0.0 Set[02].Value=0.0 Set[03].Position=-5.0 Set[03].Value=1.0

2 pointsFor the last 3 months, I was out of town working quite far from home so was not able to work on my main projects. But i had my crappy laptop with me...and evenings were quite productive. As you may know (or may not) i was working on a few ground objects.. and even the first batch (S-125 SAM) system was uploaded. I am currently working on new S-75 and S-200 SAMs . And of course many others. (generally trying to cover all east cold war SAMs). Also, some other big projects came up..and I am in the middle of something. So those ground objects will find a way to be on the virtual frontline one day. But back to the topic. I have made a few (and few more to come) replacements for stock TW objects from the red side. The list is not long so far. Idea was....and still is in my mind to create objects and edit targets.ini and types.ini so airfields for example in East Germany or Czechoslovakia will have specific national background objects etc. But I am generally lazy to do ini work (which is bloody important - but I am prioritizing models for now. Also, I think we disused this already ( but i can not find that thread) I am interested in making 'era' ground objects appearance. So for example old Zil-157 wil not appear as fuel truck let say in 1995 anymore. And in 1954 it place will be taken by some older soviet truck etc, etc. Someone said it is possible to edit this...but i do not remember how..or I am doing something wrong. Anyway, my priority is models..hope someone will solve this ini issue for me. So far i've made the following objects: ATZ-4-131 and ATZ-157 - or simply Soviet Fuel truck. Also, have pre-1958 ATZ-3-151 - but ZIS-151 is not painted yet....so. not for showing yet. Standard trucks for different era and situations (also some more specific eyecandish for few countries ) GAZ-66, Zil-157, Ural 375D, IFA W50L, (Praga and Star - wips) Some command truck replacements...these are actually radios but It gives nice touch now. R-140M on Zil-131 and Zil-157 and few other models that are in wip stage still (R-160 on Zil-131, R-142 on GAZ-66) And there are also other ground objects, mean fighting machines. BTR-60PB (plus maybe 2-3 variants in future) BRDM-2 and few variants based on that chassis. 9P122 Malyutka-M and 9P133 Malyutka-P and new 9M14 Malyutka to add to the weapon folder and Strela-1 9K31 with new 9M31 Strela-1 venerable ZU-23-2 also mounted on some trucks and APCs BMP-1 BMP-2 BTR-50PK and its Czechoslovakian copy OT-62 TOPAS with few variants and some middle eastern mods for use with specific terrains. and Czechoslovakian- Polish OT-64 SKOT also, new PT-76 found its way here... More to come. I have more than 20 wips in this project. some East Germany and Czechoslovakian builds too. More soviet tanks (54,55,62,72,) APCs, some heavy haulers and FROGs. Of course, this still needs a lot of work. lIke double-checking data, adjusting hitboxes, userlist, and generally ini-ini mambo jumbo. So one day hope it will be ready. Definitely not two weeks. Regards. J.

1 pointModded maps are way much better than stock originals. So if you want to have stock terrain - perhaps should look for Wrench's stock terrain overhaul. Which will be better. Other terrains (community releases) are usually also hi-end products compared to stock. Just simply go to downloads - download- check - compare - decide if mods stay or not. There are few aircraft that are better quality than mods (but this is my opinion so I am not gonna decide for you which is better or not). Other than that quality of community modded aircrafts are quite decent (at least that is what i heard ) Remember that community aircrafts are FREE. So again you can download - check - compare - decide. Now after years, I know that I wouldn't buy DLC...but now is too late. It all depends on you what you want to have in your game folder. Quantity or quality. Take it easy, Mods will be here still. This game is not going anywhere, we will be stuck here for quite some time still , so nothing will change in a matter of aircraft handling (unless TK will pop up Strike Fighters 2030 and all mods from here will be unusable in any way).

1 pointHey Erik, Most of manuals I have are pdfs. The structure looks good, dividing it up in years is a good idea. Dividing it up further by country / service might be taking it too far. For example, regarding WWII - I have a bunch of USN doctrine/tactics manuals, and some from the USAAF, some British, and German stuff too. But lumping it all together by era might actually be easier. Lastly, nobody should be posting F-35 manuals or current doctrine, techniques or procedures, but I imagine that the people who have that stuff already know that. I'd be curious to know what everyone else thinks.

1 pointI was speaking only of military flight manuals and associated tactics. Historical, not current tactics for obvious reasons.

1 pointThank you for your comment, regarding the SF1 I have stated it is only tested and working with SF2, and I use this as a stander readme for all my models. In the future I shall remove it from the read me file if it made you confused. with regard to models saved in Unicode. I am afraid that is not totaly correct as I have seen models converted with software in the net unfortunately one of them can convert SF models.

1 pointthis one falls half-way-in-between what-ifs. The aircraft and unit depicted are real, but the Soviet BORODINO class* CV isn't. Testing the new Banshee, got this naval strike mission against the Soviet CVBG in the western Pacific. *iirc, it's included in one of cocas's what if red carrier birds. if not, it may be a seperate d/l. I don't remember -- age and all

1 pointchugster, could you be a little more specific, please??? Like, any aircraft in particular?? 98.6% of all aircraft downloads do come with a cockpit. Some are even the correct ones! . I do know for a fact, there are several that do not, but have referenced readily available stock 3rd Wire birds (example: the AI Vampires made flyable using the stock Hunter F1 pit). Those would include a modified cockpit ini, that has the necessary tweeks to 'center' it properly on the new bird. But, for the most part, the answer is yes.

1 pointWait, a peace agreement between Israel and the UAE/Bahrain ? Countries that never were at war with Israel ? Didn't exist as independent nations until 1971 ? Riiiiiiight. The only novelty here is that they finally recognise the existence of Israel and initiate official diplomatic and trade. So no, not a peace agreement, but I guess you someone had to label it that so some spray-tanned buffoon can get his Nobel Peace Prize. I mean, it's great for Israel, the UAE and Bahrain, but it's really about some deranged egomaniac and selling a few more F-35, not "peace".

SF2 Lockheed WV-2/EC-121K Pack by RussoUK 8/20/2020 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods" This package contains a new aircraft, the Lockheed WV-2/EC-121K Warning Star Airborne Early Warning and Control aircraft as used by the US Navy. This aircraft comes complete with everything needed, and has skins that represent the following units, as is my habit one Atlantic and one Pacific based units: VW-1 "Typhoon Hunters", based at Barbers Point HI & NAS Agana, Guam VW-11, based at NAS Argentia, NFLD The aircraft is presented in two finishes; overall DGNB (VW-11), and DGNB with the anti-heat white upper fuselage (VW-1). Both aircraft have 18 BuNum (serial number) decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. On the Numbers.lst, any marked with a star (*) are 100% historicaly correct for that unit, and have been matched to their Modex number. Those not marked should be considered 'generic' in nature. When in game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown menu, you'll see: WV-2/EC-121K Warning Star (R) Hopefully, will diferentiate it from any other EC-121s that you may (or may not) have, or be available. The "R" stands for RussoUK, the model maker. The "WV-2" was the original designation when the aircraft was placed in service in 1954. It was renumbered to "EC-121" in the early 1960s, during the "Great McNamara Renaming & Consolidation" of all US military aircraft. As is always reccommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Also, the credits list all the original FSX model & skin creators. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein -
