Thanks to allenjb42 I now fixed the folding wing issue on my Supers. The only problem is of course the open canopies, but that's not a problem since I brought it up to FastCargo to lower the canopy. Frankly I think the wings are more important than the canopy myself.

Last two pictures of Navy sluff are taken 1990/91 during DS. At the time Sluff was ready for retirement...and VA had not enough pylons at the moment, so pylons from stations 2,3,6 and 7 were didided for two aircraft. Except HARM birds. Second pic- empty station 6 may indicate that mission was carried without it and flight was refueled on route. In real unlike in game pylons are not something that you plug and play on a whim..it takes time to wire systems and pylons..and during combat deployment not always there is a time for it. Often aircafts wired for HARMs stayed HARM bird for whole deployment while other birds were bomb trucks with TERs. Also from certain point ..if you have TER fixed to pylon and mission requires smaller payload - you just hang one mk82 on TER...it saves time too.

Despite the truce with the Global Sedition in the Southern California area, reserve units like VAQ-562 operate around the area, providing electronic jamming support to warfighters.

quite true on time to upload/download and wire up pylons in the case of the Guard units, they had a very small staff on all the time, and few flying hours during the normal week. so likely easier to leave em all on. i actually looked around at the pics i collected and another run at Google to say Svetlin was just talking about the Navy birds. I discovered that Guard birds typically had all pylons no matter what. a few pics even have just a travel pod or just a 119 jammer but the other 5 pylons on and empty! in fact, it was more likely in the Guard for the Winder rails to not be loaded than the wing pylons

F-5E - The F-5 was also adopted as an opposing forces (OPFOR) "aggressor" for dissimilar training role because of its small size and performance similarities to the Soviet MiG-21. The F-5E served with the US Air Force from 1975 until 1990, in the 64th Aggressor Squadron and 65th Aggressor Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, and with the 527th Aggressor Squadron at RAF Alconbury in the UK and the 26th Aggressor Squadron at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. F-5N - Ex-Swiss Air Force F-5Es used by the US Navy as an "aggressor" aircraft, with AN/APG-69 replacing the original AN/APQ-159. Intended to replace high-time USN/USMC F-5Es in the adversary role, and saw service through 2015. Hi, Welcome to CA and welcome to the forum. As you already noticed, there is no subforum named "requests and wishes" and that's with reason. You might also already have seen that wishes and requests rarely are granted; modding (here) is a labour of love for people with filled agendas and full lives. Maybe you can do some research on YouTube and the interwebz and tweak the skills to do it yourself? CA can always use another modder! Cheers

These are excellent skins, and I hope that this effort will continue, since there a lot of excellent LODs in the A-Team that are wasted without proper skins (and especially, NO decals...)

Coupi PM'd me about this and I think the work he did so far is awesome. One of the issues I'm having with the Super Hornet Block III is the cockpit. Since Brain32 is MIA (haven't heard from him in a long time) it's kinda hard to find somebody to do a proper cockpit. Since we don't know what it looks like we can all do guesswork. The below image is what Coupi did and frankly, I like it. It makes things easier to see and make better calls (If only the Growler was getting the same treatment I'm ready for that too). Still have to do some tweaks but yeah, looks good.

SF2 TMF Boeing 707 300 Series Update Pack 5/14/2023 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended) This is the complete aircraft, set up as to NOT conflict with the mods of the 707 produced by DaddyAirplanes. Some renanming has been done to make sure of the lack of conflicts. This is a fairly small modification of the Boeing 707 jetliner released many years ago by The Mirage Factory. What this mod does, is using ONLY the 4 original skins, adds 100% historically correct registration numbers, and in the case of PanAm, the "Clipper" name of the aircraft. Just in case you've forgotten what skins there are ... BOAC - 14 aircraft 1960-86 El Al - 12 aircraft 1961-2018 Pan American - 18 aircraft 1958-99 TMA Air Cargo - 6 aircraft 1965-2004 All these markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The Data ini has some edits, adding the "Exported to Enemy = TRUE" line. The nations used for these 4 are STOCK in game ones. (RAF=BOAC, USAF=PanAm, Lebannon=TMA). A userlist in included, that is by NO MEANS complete. End users are encouraged to add skins, "air forces" and whatever is required to expand the line. A cockpit is included, but as this bird is mostly for eye candy, player flight is not reccomended (no defenses of any kind!!). As such, there are NO hangar or loading screens. When in game, you'll see Boeing 707-300 Series (TMF) on the aircraft selection drop down menu. This should (and will) deferentiate it from DA's mods. This aircraft DOES represent many different versions of the 300 series, so the name is fairly accurate. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein

SF2 WW2 F4F-3/4 Wildcat, SBD-3/5 Dauntless -- Something for the PTO players -- = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *There is a possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.* This is a compilation of all my work for Wolf's SBD Dauntless and Pasko's F4F Wildcat. It is designed to replace ALL the previously released versions. So, be advised. There are 5 aircraft in this pak: F4F-3 (pre- and early war) F4F-4 (early war to mid-43 FM-2 (mid to late war -this is a stand in aircraft, based on the -4) SBD-3 (pre and early war, to mid-43 -includes RNZAF skin) SBD-5 (mid war, tri-color) and ???? a surprise! All have semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but they REALLLLLLY do need further fine tuning by experts. All lighting on all aircraft is 100% historically correct. All are carrier capable, with the SF2NA statments for those (ok, 2) aircraft with folding wings Use Shift/0 to open the window, and Shift/9 to fold the wings -Wilcat ONLY! All skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. I've tried, as best as possible, to use the 'StartDefaultDate' on all skins to limit the availability for pre-War markings from those that came into being post-January, 1942. The -4 'cats have skins that start 1/42, and the Dauntless has the same pre and post 1/42 starts. Hopefully, they will work as they should. Userlists are included for all aircraft, as being 'exported' means USN, USMC, and in the SBD-3's case, RNZAF.SF2 versions of the old 'box art' Hangars are included for those that had them. Sounds, weapons are included. Also, for you enjoyment, a never-before-released-to-the-public "Surprise" aircraft. Yes, its a total stand-in, and dosen't really even look like what it represents, but ... you can have to fun with it (flying for the Red Side, that is, attacking it.) As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. All readmes from the original releases, and re-releases, are included where discoverable from the archives. Happy Hunting! wrench kevin stein

The Bell P-39 Airacobra was one of the principal American fighter aircraft in service when the United States entered World War II. The P-39 was used with great success by the Soviet Air Force, which scored the highest number of individual kills attributed to any U.S. fighter type. Other major users of the type included the Free French, the Royal Air Force, the United States Army Air Forces, and the Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force. Designed by Bell Aircraft, it had an innovative layout, with the engine installed in the center fuselage, behind the pilot, and driving a tractor propeller via a long shaft. It was also the first fighter fitted with a tricycle undercarriage.Although its mid-engine placement was innovative, the P-39 design was handicapped by the absence of an efficient turbo-supercharger, limiting it to low-altitude work. Together with the derivative P-63 Kingcobra, the P-39 was one of the most successful fixed-wing aircraft manufactured by Bell. Read the README FILE included !!!!!!!!!!!! Mirage Factory MiG-29 Cockpit Detailing This mod will bring the MF MiG-29 a better look in the cockpit. The package includes reprocessed texture for all instruments, radar screen and wall. Installation ------------ 1. In case you may regret, back up your cockpit folder and avionics.ini in your MiG-29 directory 2. Drop the cockpit folder to your MiG-29 directory, cover the files and folders as asked. 3. The wall texture in the cockpit directory is 4x enlarged with bump texture and color tweak (which require unlimited setting in the cockpit texture setting to enjoy), if you are unhappy with the performance or look, replace with the file included in the "optional wall texture", that will give you flat walls closer to the real-world one although not as eye-candy. 4. You might find the radar looks too bright and also want to replace with the radar texture in the "optional radar" folder, by dropping all 3 files and 1 folder to your cockpit folder. And then change the color of your radar character in your xxxx_avionics.ini find below section [RadarFont] Change the line Color= xxxxxx to Color=0.45,94,0.49,1.0 then save and exit Credit ------- original mig-29 pit by The Mirage Factory texture reprocess by orsin

One thing that is a problem (an unforseen issue) with the new cockpit is the shaders by simonmiller416. I PM'd him about it and maybe a version with less light can be made so they won't wash out the pages so much like this:
