But I'm having issues building the slimer lights, they don't actually glow in the game as I expect (Or just not bright enough? I don't know, because it's not as bright as other mods in nighttime environment, it looks like it doesn't glow at all, from the pictures below it can be seen that the slimer on the vertical tail does not shine at all) About my settings [RightVertailSlimer1] SystemType=LIGHT LightNodeName=Slimer_RVT1_On CanFlash=FALSE Brightness=0.04 ←← LightSrcRange=0.002 ←← I tried to add this, but it didn't work too (Of course, I refer to the data of other mods, they haven't added it, I just tried it) And I think it's probably for the same reason: MFD images seem to get very dark in shadows, but RWR and radar images can stay bright regardless of lighting, I guess this may be related to the setting of the layer channel, but I don't know where to start Can someone give me some hints? ========================================================================================================================================================================

Some more pics Basically, it is still in the design of interactive logic and screens. After the basic interface is designed, it needs to be polished to ensure that it appears in front of everyone's eyes with the highest possible quality.

I once discussed this with EricJ, I think this validates my guess, if we need a "night vision compatible" cockpit, then we first consider lowering the light sources in the cockpit during the modeling stage, so that in the renderer, they will become visible, without “Blooming”. But if the map and ADI with a bright background perform such an operation, I think it should not be suitable for daytime combat...

Slimers can be separate parts of the model, no need to use .tga, just paint them on an area of your map as you would any other parts. I usually paint the "off" light straight onto the skin itself and the "on" version is a separate mesh so paint somewhere else. You need to get the game to call for the "On" light by using its mesh name in the data ini.Brightness can be controlled by settings in max. Take a look at some of Ravenclaw's F-4's to see how the data ini's are set up. There are probably other ways too, this is just how I do it & I'm still learning too.

aren't slimers done with self-illuminating tgas?

I also want to add that, for example, an IR missile flies to the center of the aircraft and not to the engine, as it is in BMS Falcon 4.0. Other missiles the same. Flie in the geometrical center of a target. Whether the missile hits the center or not it depends on the accuracy and resistance to countermeasure of the missile written in the date of the missile and on the maneuvers of the aircraft and on other parameters, but this is how it is in the game. At least one hitbox must overlap a geometric center of the target. This is a shortcoming that has to be put up with . The same is true for ground objects. If you have a group target, for example, a radar and an electrical support vehicle serving this, and they are separated by several meters, then the hitbox of both vehicles should overlap the geometric center. Unless, of course, you want AI planes with SEAD missions not to stick to this place and start flying in circles, shooting at the center of the target and hitting the gap between these machines over and over again. Or alternatively, add a separate small hitbox to existing hitboxes to the center and link it to both machines (it needs some dances with dumy objects or using tricks with parts of a model). And when you fly on your own, then, of course, to immerse yourself in the game, shoot at the cars, and not at the center.

collision points destroy aircraft when it meet another aircraft in the air, hitbox catch the missile. if missile do not meet hitbox it will not ruine the part of aircraft which is connected to it. Turn off hitboxes and your aircraft will be unvulnerable. Turn off colision piints and your aircraft will run through another aircraft like a ghost

Geezer RNAS-RAF pilots for FE 2 This is a pack of new textures focused on pilots that Geezer released years ago. The content can be used with First Eagles 2. This pack presents some RNAS-RAF Aces and there is also a group of generic pilots that you will be able to use in airplanes that you wish. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ You will find several options for different scarf colors and a RNAS-RAF uniform at your choice. I choosed the Geezer's "wwiPilotNew5" and "wwiPilotNew1" as base to my faces paint job, due that this is the only pilots where is possible painting different faces without the moustache. I have to say that the F-35C is growing on me a little bit. It still needs a lot of work (hopefully simonmiller416's version is better) but for now it will replace the F-16. I mean the F-16 is okay, but it just has so little fuel and well, doesn't land on carriers, which is probably why it doesn't appeal to me.

Ok, here's the deal -- English is the main language used on this site. It's perfectly OK to have PART of the announcement in Spanish, the MAIN announcement MUST be in English. Also, can you PLEASE try and put your uploads in the proper place???? "What If" aircraft and skins have their own sections. Otherwise, we (moderators and admins) have to keep moving from where you put them, to where they actually go. thank you

On a serious note, the disparity in information on air combat kills and other stats does not at first inspire confidence in a Falklands Sim project developed outside of the UK. I hope the developer can show he is working closely with authentic British sources of information and is not involved with the propaganda that is still prevelant in the less-developed World. In case any Americans fail to understand the real potential threat to truth here, try to imagine a Vietnam Era Sim made by developers in Hanoi with a mission script by Jane Fonda! I kind of look forward to the Falklands Sim, but like many Brits, I am also cringing a little bit. There is nothing wrong with depicting all aspects of a difficult episode with mistakes and tragedy on both sides, but I don't ever want to read some of the crap I have been exposed to here in a Commercial Simulator. To the developer, please check your sources carefully and start with a free and open press along with documents and publications freely available in a true democracy. Please get it right and put my hairy arse in a Harrier every time!

Let me doubt you about that....a fellow brother in arm, regardless their nationality never spoke in such terms. Maybe you wanna talk to your father in law again, and listen this time....he probably will talk about us with respect, because he know about it....he in not some kid siting behind a PC, pretending he is Rambo or wherever action hero you have over there. Yeap...you are right....here you have some pictures, to backing up what i´m saying. This two A-4´s, are about to "run home to mama with your tails between ur legs" Bombs away Is she sinking????? Yeap....she´s gone. Bye Bye HMS Coventry. I have tons of this kind of "backing it up with actions". So next time, before you end up looking like an idiot, think twice ;) Rds

By the way, the only civilian casualties during the conflict were caused by British shelling. In the other hand, neither side really had controvertial war crimes( Exept maybe for the sinking of the Belgrano which was 30 miles out of the war zone, some claims that prisoners were executed at Goose Green and Mount. Longdon and in the Argentine's side, stealing sheep from herders to eat, none of these are really controvertial though, like Katyn or the war crimes being made by the US troops in Iraq, which claim to be freeing the Iraqis from the "insurgents", which are actually Iraq's own people whom are trying to get rid of the invaders who bombed their capital and killed 250,000 of them a decade ago.) It was a pretty clean war compared to what we've been witnessing in the last two decades.
