3 pointsSo sorry, I just couldn't resist...some quick low res screenies right from the viewport... Seriously though Wrench, PM or email me some high-res photo references on what you really want (front, rear, side, top views, etc.) and I'd be happy to make one for you.

3 pointsStill heavy travel days for me and appreciate Gepard’s incredible patience; happy to share I’m putting the final touches on the redux McDonalds model for him. Now we get to go from a “stand in” model to something more compelling. It was pretty fun working on this, acquired an excellent base model and then spent a lot of time detailing out with mesh enhancements and certainly texture work. Also, want to fully acknowledge up front all credit for the base figures goes to Geezer (I am grateful to be trusted with his source models, these I rigged up in new poses and textures). As-is often my problem, spent too much time dinkering around with adding in details...LOL. Anyway, should finish off soon, thanks Gep for your patience and allowing me to create this for you. I know I still owe you and several others updates on other requests and they are all still in-progress. From this: To this:

3 pointsnow we just need some AT ATs, and those little land speeder deals or we could make it interesting
-
3 pointsAs previously mentioned, finished up the utility ground tug for hangar eye-candy, looks good to me but let me know of any proposed changes.
-
2 pointsBack to some serious work...decided to leverage same tug texture to add some variety, so created a trailer version...like so. FYI I'm a little lazy, so this is a screenshot right from the viewport.
-
2 pointsJust a sidenote. The small Bullpup-A (AGM-12A, B and nuclear D) use the LAU-34/Aero 5 A-Launchrails, while the bigger Bullpup-B (AGM-12C and E) do not use a rail. This gave me some headache on the Skyhawks, because both are of the same weapontype and guidance. I ended up using specificstationcode for the bigger ones on a separate weaponstation to ensure a correct placement for both versions.

2 pointsThank you Indeed, that is a good idea. I will take note of it, my friend. I will see what I can do. thank you for your feedback as always. Nice I can't wait to see your outstanding work as always. A new update for the A-6A (added the LAU-34 and LAU-7A rails) will be uploaded after testing these loadouts is for testing in the screenshots. thanks to Coupi.

Hello! Thank you for downloading my mod! This mod is based of the Ogaden War, an obscure conflict not really known or told about today. So I decided to make a campaign based off of it! Be warned, this mod probably won't be super historically accurate, please bear with me as this is my first ever mod and there will most likely be bugs. Thank you! It is July 13th, 1977, and Somalia has invaded the Ogaden, an area in the Horn of Africa claimed to be held by both Somalia and Ethiopia. Claiming that the Ogaden belonged to "Greater Somalia", combined with both deteriorated relations with the USSR and superpower intervention in Africa, Somali Dictator Siad Barre orders for troops to enter and recapture Somali inhabited territories in the Horn of Africa, with the Ogaden being first. The Ethiopians desperately fight back but being completely caught off guard and with their military being weak thanks to the Derg's overthrowing the Emperor of Ethiopia three years earlier, the Somalis captured up to 90% of the region, and their Air Force prowls the skies above the fight on the ground. Despite the odds, with the United States aircraft and the Soviet Union's support and supplies, it is up to the Ethiopian Air Force's Tigers, Frescos, Canberras, transports, sorties around the clock, and the Ethiopian Ground Forces to recapture the region and push the Somalis out of the region. Scramble immediately, and take back the skies of the Ogaden! Mods used for the campaign, (My apologizes if I am wrong.) 1 pointTo complete these missions from the game side involves taking out a random number of Air defence sites AAA/radar/SAM (more like DEAD). If you dont have easymode where you can see what are primary targets - then taking out guns near the target waypoint will usually work. To see guns without aids - really difficult with default effects - go through the ground targets (E) untill you get a gun and padlock it. Some of the modded effects mean you can see the tracer and flashes easier to can hit them Strafe with guns and rockets needs practise - pull out before you get to close basically and never over fly a gun site. If you can learn to remember where the gun site is climb say 9000 ft above, dive down and ripple rockets or bombs.

1 pointSadly, the implementation of ARMs in Strike Fighters is just bad. The only thing you can do with them is to loft them in LOAL mode, that's all. Thus, the only viable tactic is... To know the effective range of your missile at the given altitude and airspeed. Let's say we have Shrike and go low, this should be around 10-15NM. Then, you had to get the azimuth and range on the radar you want to attack, from RWR for example or from pre-flight. When the range is met - when you are closer than 15NM from the target, lob your missiles towards it and hope that they will lock, immediately turn away. Other modes of use are simply not modeled. For example, Shrike could lock before the launch, it was similar to Sparrow in floodlight mode, Shrike's seeker could lock emitters in the narrow cone in front - giving the pilot a tone when lock was obtained. Ho HUD, no dedicated display was needed - just turn on the target emitter and wait for a tone. Later ARMs displayed spotted emitters to the pilot either on display or on a HUD, letting the pilot to select them for attack. ARMs with more range were often paired with detecting equipment, which likewise spotted the emitters and displayed them to pilot. Missile will go most of the way on INS and switch to seeker when close to the target

1 pointcoming up nicely, the windows on the pod turret were asymmetrical, the right side (FLIR) was narrower than the left side (LLTV) and can you make an animation that will turn the turret around after take-off...to protect equipment during take-off/landing and on the ground turret windows were facing the rear. On the other hand (iron hand) Since you are jumping on versions. Any chance to get back to the Iron Hand B version for a while? at least for the Mod 0 version (Vietnam era) I can provide LAU launchers for Standard ARM. (only B was carrying Standard ARM at that time) And absolutely side note... I was working on a skin set for Intruder over Vietnam based on the TW model (similar to my Corsairs pack) but now I see I have to move to a better A platform. Will take me a while to re-do everything on these new skins...but research was done already, and decals too. Stay tuned.

SF2 TMF Mirage IIICZ (SAAF) by PCG Upgrade/Remod Pack 3/24/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested) Found in the Archives! Didn't even know there WAS a TMF version! But here it is!!! :) This is a full upgrade/remod pack for The Mirage Factory's Dassault Mirage IIICZ by PCG as used by the South AFrican Air Force. Even though there is =NOT= a stock 3W Mirage IIICZ per se, this is set up and labeled to cause =NO= conflicts with any (other) Mirages available for the game (including the version built by Ludo M.54 from a stock 3W Mirage). Skins remain in their original bmp format. All necessary items are provided, weapons, pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth (most weapons used ARE stock 3W items, with few exceptions). This is a "nationalized" single-user only aircraft. This aircraft is supplied with 3 skins: "NMF"- as originally delivered "Camo1" - Tan/Green (<1971) "Lo-Viz" - 2-tone Blue & Grey (~1982) All 16 CZs served with No.2 Squadron, “Flying Cheetahs”. All skins use the same 'pool' of 16 ID/serial numbers. As can be expected, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active, and the LoViz skin starts in 1982 (best guess! based upon Ludo's Mirage F1CZ_Late). Also, the Date Switch is used on the Loadout ini, as newer missiles become available. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Mirage IIICZ (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything else but TMF Birds (tm). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below. As an Extra Added Bonus (tm), I've included a bunch of PDFs I found online, documenting the Development & History of the Mirage III & its variants in SAAF service. They are OUTSTANDING docs, and were the basis for some of the changes I've implemented here. Well worth the read! Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein For Oli and The Mirage Factory -

1 point@omegaeleven Apologies if I didn't reply to your PM in time. RL is not being kind to me at the moment. I'm happy that Gepard and mehlhorndirk gave you help. This is the best I can offer at the moment, a zip of data mainly recovered from CombatACE, you'll find a DOC and a PDF, alongside links to useful posts that can be found in CombatACE's forums: SF_Campaigns_KB.zip I'm no campaign data guru. What I did for the Desert Storm campaign data is an impressive amount of work, but the complex ground war does not work yet as intended. You'll find out that you learn a lot more by doing, trial and error. I'm also happy to see that my Horn of Africa terrain is being used, it never got a review by users so I consider it the most overlooked of my terrain mods. If the terrain ever needs some additions or fixes, feel free to let me know and I'll work on it if RL gives me some breath.

1 pointGimmie a week or so, I am going to buy this and the DLC to help the project, I guess what sucks is one sale really does not go very far, nor does it pay someones wage for even a month. Thats what sucks these days. People throw millions of dollars away on Corporate publisher controlled gaming that has really become a sea of garbage and just gets worse every year. There is no standard anymore. And the sheep out there keep wasting money on garbage games they may play a week or less because of rampant ADHD (so many games coming out weekly that they cant even focus and complete one without losing interest) and yet they bitch on steam and other forums constantly, admitting they are disgusted with the state of gaming. I wish a lot of hat money would go to more indie developers (like WOFF and others)and other small teams of game developers who really embrace the old school approach of being gamers themselves and developing something they play and love as well. Even my son complains about all the garbage "games in name only". Even being generation Z , he embraces indie games or classic titles like I do because of how bad the gaming market is these days Its just become a sea of garbage or developers who scam their consumers by abandoning games on purpose then repeating the crime. I have seen so much of that in the last 5 years because of zero enforcement. I am just so disgusted with the gaming market. I know many others who feel the same way. Anyway keep up the good work. I hope the projects never die due to lack of funds.

F-5E For Strike Fighters 2 "Early versions pack" Version History: v.1.0: First public release. Early versions without later refinements like RWR. DESCRIPTION: This addon can thank its release to the work of two talented individuals, FastCargo and BPao. FastCargo created the F-5F two seaters and BPao was the man behind the original Mirage Factory F-5E model. I was fortunate enough to get permission to work on these source models, with the goals of marrying the F-5E front section to the F-5F engine and wings which were quite a lot more detailed. It was supposed to be a quick project. One year later: I have completely reworked the F-5E nose, added a lot of stuff on the original fuselage and detailed both original templates to have higher detail textures. Meanwhile Sophocles graciously allowed me to use his superb F-5A cockpit as a basis to build my F-5E cockpit, in which I have also used parts based on FastCargos unfinished T-38 cockpit. Included is two versions of the earlier production F-5E: a basic version dubbed '72 and an export specific version with a larger vertical stabilizator and spine antenna. This version is dubbed '74L (L for large vertical stablizator). Happy flying! Mats "Centurion" Liljeroos FEATURES: SF2 standard external model 2048^2 textures with normal maps Realistic cockpit with avionics courtesy of Crusader FM from original MirageFactory F-5E which flies really good. OPERATORS COVERED IN THIS PACK: USAF Agressor USN Agressor Brazil Honduras Chile Marocco IRIAF Jordania South Korea Saudi Arabia Thailand South Vietnam North Vietnam (captured from VNAF) Ethiopia Kenya Indonesia Tunisia CREDITS: Bpao and Mirage Factory crew: Orginal F-5E model and templates FastCargo for original F-5F model EricJ and pappychecksix for original F-5F templates and textures Sophocles for his superb cockpit work. Every switch is a work of art. Crusader for his ini file magic, really makes the cockpit and plane come alive. Paulo for his mammoth decaling work which he allowed me to use. and even helped me by reworking some of it. Me for cobbling all this together (=texturing and modeling work) The rest of the Combat Ace community. Without you guys I would never have bothered to make it this far. INSTALATTION: Extract into mod folder of choice. This by and large replaces the old F-5E by TMF, so you can go ahead and delete the F-5E aircraft folder if you have it installed. NOTE: The _74L version references the _72 versions cockpit folder, so if you aim to use the 74L standalone in some installation, copy the cockpit folder and F-5E_72_cockpit.ini file from the _72 folder to the _74L folder. Overwrite. Stay tuned for more Tigers! This falls under the Combatace Freeware License Agreement. -

Eritrea/Ethiopia Terrain for SF2 = For SF2, Any and All (Full-4 Merged Reccomended) This terrain is a rebuild version of the 'beta - (minus)' uploaded by Wingwinner some years ago. It has been completly rebuilt, from the HFD up. This terrain also uses JSF_Aggie's Enhanced Desert tiles, with the tile set =GREATLY= expanded, with many new tiles, many tiles with minor & major corrections and repairs, and LOTS and LOTS of custom TODs. The area covered includes parts of Somilia, Djbouti, a little of eastern Yemen, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Sudan as far west as the Nile rivers (Blue & White) confluence at Khartoum. The 'addon' terrain objects have been kept to a minimum. Stock in-game items have been used in most cases, although some additional units may (or may not!) be required. Add-on GroundObjects, while heavily listed in the _Types.ini, have been kept to as small amount as possible. See "Notes" for what you might need. You've probably got most of them already. Some additions to several Userlists for both Stock 3W and 3rd Party add-ons (in particular for some SAM units) have been included, as several nations simply weren't listed. Limited Nations, Limited Missions and Operations years do NOT reflect the Real World . Eritrea did not exist until 1991; the map has the standard "all years spread". However, the various nations are listed in the Eritera_Nations.ini, but none of the Limitations are active. Geophysical Disclaimer: some rivers and other water features may not follow their Real Life courses, or be placed in their Real Life locations, or even exist as such. Several cities and other physical features may also fall into that classification (ie: mountains, hills, valleys, etc). Some cities may also NOT have all their proper Real Life industries, facilities and other building classifications, or be fully loaded with 'target objects'. Accuracy has been strived for in all cases, to reflect the Real World . As much as is possible with this Engine. This map also makes use of the 'Expanded Borders' mod, wherein you make changes to the FlightEngine.ini. Instructions on making this adjustment are included (if you haven't already). Please note, that when unzipped, the terrain folder will be quite large (~350 megs) due to the size of the tiles -they're 1024x. Make sure you have enough space. As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's reccomended (ie: REQUIRED!!!) you read the document through after unzipping, before installing. As always, the Notes and Other Nonesense section may make for entertaining reading. It's most important that the legal disclaimer at the bottom be read and complied with. There has been a change in policy with regards to =ALL= my terrain mods. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein -

0 pointsI love this A6. I like the CCIP and the cockpit. It works great. I do have one issue. When I put the A6 on an aircraft carrier the game will put some unmanned planes around the deck, parked. When I hit Shift-2 to fold the wings, it triggers one of the unmanned prop planes to fold its wings, not mine. Not a big deal, but weird.
