Quick update. 511 tiles..At max limit of game engine. Targets are 35,000+. Thanks Gerwin for the adjusted tool. Have reworked some tiles. Trying to get this out on the streets soon. Working to package it all. First release will be a BETA as I need the smart folks to pull this thing apart. No campaign(s) built. I need to build some custom missions for the project. Wrench's Island after the new landscapers showed up.

the stock A-1 Skyraiders are pretty good, with the exception (like Otto said) of the pilot hit box. Nice safe place for it, in front of the propeller!!!

My sources for the 3D model are French Aircraft of the First World War and Windsock Data File #161. I don't know what sources VonS may have. Could you assist us with research in French language sources? Progress shot below.

I may also do a new Breguet 14. VonS said he would look into how to construct mixed formations so the Caudrons can escort the Breguets.

In cooperation with VonS and Quack74, I'm developing some new WW1 aircraft. I've begun mapping the Junkers J.I and will pass it on to Quack for textures, then VonS for FM.

just for grins and giggles, I've been going over a LOT of the aircraft we've released over the years, and thanks to Mue's Tool Box, have been readjusting and fixing incorrectly named meshes in data inis, and readjusting the hit boxes. (images below are the PV-1 Ventura, before and after resetting them. You can see the major differences!) are these repairs something the 2-dozen odd ww2 players might be interestered in? I probably would NOT be updating entire aircraft packages (there's just too damn many -- several hundred at least!)

Thanks! Two more shots showing progress this morning over coffee.

Fixed lol, thanks! Speaking of Grun... I've done it before for IL2 , I can do it again :D

You might want to fix the description, the plane is a F-15C Eagle, not Hornet. But, since you mentioned Hornets, I am wondering about Grun squadron paint scheme. That one is so hard to do. If you manage to do it, you're a god! Garm 2, Pixy: "It's starting to come down..." Valais Air Base: "This is Base Command. Guess all you boys managed to get up. Galm 1, Galm 2, maintain present course." AWACS Eagle Eye: "Bearing 315, Belkan bombers approaching." Garm 2, Pixy: "Nobody wants to bail out into a mountain of ice. We're counting on you, flight leader!" Valais Air Base: "All units, prepare to intercept." Garm 2, Pixy: "You'd better have our pay ready and waiting!" Valais Air Base: "That's only if we both make it through this alive." Garm 2, Pixy: "Be ready to pay up. We'll be back before you know it!" So many memories...

View File SF2 WW2 Ventura & Harpoon Tweeks/Fixit Pack SF2 WW2 PTO Ventura, Harpoon, Lodestar Adjustment Pak 8/29/2017 -- For the WW2 players -- This package contains a new, modified data inis for the following aircraft: Pacific Theatre: Lockheed PV-1 Ventura (Early) Lockheed PV-1 Ventura (Mid) Lockheed PV-1 Ventura (Late) LOckheed PV-2 Harpoon Lockheed C-60 Lodestar (transport/cargo) European Theatre: Ventura Mk.II (RAF) Included are "backed up" copies of the original data inis for each of these aircraft, just for safety's sake. If you have these aircraft already, =THIS= is the pack to use. The full aircraft packages, available here in the CA Downloads, have already been updated for new download users. Reminder - if you have these aircraft already, you do NOT need to redownload the entire aircraft again. = Instructions for Use: unzip to a temp folder or your desktop. Inside, you'll find two main subfolders: PTO ETO As most of the USN variants (and the Lodestar it seems!) were used in the Pacific, all those Ventura's are here, in the PTO folder. Copy/paste the various /Objects folder DIRECTLY over the original /Objects folder in your WW2 PTO-centric mods folders. -- For the RAF Ventura Mk.II, do the same thing, excepting you're now doing it to your WW2 ETO-centric mods folder. This was done simply as a "make it easier" for me to upload. Go fly. Good Hunting!! Also included is a "backed up" copy of the original data ini, just for safety's sake. For those with the skill to copy/paste, you can use this data ini for your WW2 PTO B-29 as well. You'll only need to copy/paste the TOP section of the original data ini from your WW2 B-29 into this new one. If you have this aircraft already, THIS is the pack to use. I have a minimal CO2 footprint. The household produces zero garbage to landfills recyclable materials only. We run on solar panels which augments our power consumption from utilities. Last month during our hot season with air conditioning my electric bill was $13 and most of that was the connection surcharge and taxes. Our cars are electric and are charged from the solar panels. I worked on two teams, one each year of the Wallow and Rodeo-Chediski Fires. As volunteers we replanted and seeded roughly 800,000 acres, of course I was only 1 of many many people but I did my part. I do act and I try help others do the same.

Give what up? I'm confused. I'm never going to stop defending Earth. At this time there is only ONE planet we live on. People once believed the world was flat, they too came around to reality.

bounding box is simply the absolute min/max extension points of a mesh You can pick these from the lodviewer , click on the line of the mesh in the left window and STRG+C to copy then STRG+V to insert into the ini. Needs only small manual cleanup to remove brackets and put the 2nd value into place hit box is the min/max of a component or system , the bounding box values can fit (for components), for systems (fueltanks, pilot, guns, etc) they usually require "custom" min&max values to closely define the position

It's still pretty difficult to imagine the displacement and damage Harvey has caused. My heart goes out to the people of Houston and surrounding areas. This should be considered mother nature's last warning about global warming since we didn't listen to her when she threw Katrina at New Orleans. It's time we all stand tall and take notice. A few hundred jobs in the coal industry and flaming off unwanted gases while drilling for oil without a recovery method for other uses isn't worth it especially since greener fuels are available. It's time to break America's smoking habit with fossil fuel and rip it off like a bandage. Buy stock in Tesla. E

CNN reported that people in a particular town who wished to stay behind should write their names and SSNs on their arms for easy identification later on. I'm in the next state over and waiting for all that rain to come our way. I think all my people are safe and I'm happy for the survivors and my heart goes to out to everyone.
