Man, it has been awhile. I'm sure most of you won't even remember me, but I was the guy that kicked this place off back in the day. =) It has been awhile! I see there are still a lot of the old names and faces I remember still milling around. :) So, I've been out of flight sims for a long time, but have been getting the itch to get back in the last year and looking for some recommendations to dip my toe back in the waters. What's the best combat flight sim out there right now that doesn't take a year of training to jump back in? No disrespect to DCS, but I want something I can jump back in a little at a time as I'm pretty busy with the business most of the time, but I really need a hobby again. :P Suggestions? I'm partial to newer modern aircraft but am open to anything really. Looking forward to getting to know the new (to me anyway) faces around here!

Here's my rework of the original SF2 F-35A from FastCargo's F-35A/B/C Lightning II V 2.5 for SF2 pack. It includes USAF F-35A only, so there are no B/C or foreign operators versions (maybe I'll do them in the future). This pack was created and tested with full 5 merged install of SF2 with latest patch. My main objective was to make this aircraft more reallistic by reworking the skins (RAM coatings, panel lines etc.), loadouts and other minor .ini changes. The afterburner is changed to the Viper Burner by The Viper Team and the pilot is changed to the one with JHMCS. Following squadrons are included: 4th FS, 388th FW, Hill AFB, UT 31st TES, 53d TEG, Eglin AFB, FL 34th FS, 388th FW, Hill AFB, UT 58th FS, 33d OG, Eglin AFB, FL 61st FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 62d FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 63d FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 422d TES, 53d TEG, Eglin AFB, FL All aircraft numbers are real and come from this site: http://www.f-16.net/aircraft-database/F-35/serials-and-inventory/airforce/USAF/ The default loadouts are all-internal. Presets with external stores are also included to use with in-game mission editor. Most weapons come from Ravenclaw's Weapons Pack 2. Loadouts do not include external fuel tanks as they are not used in real life. Reworked skin template based on DoctorWho's template is included. It is suitable for F-35A only. Feel free to create new skins, give me credit when publishing. Installation: Firstly, if you are new to SF2, please head to The Knowledge base and read about Mod Folders and installing mods. It is highly recommended to delete your previous version of F-35A from your Aircraft folder. After doing this, copy all the content of "To Mods Folder" folder to your mod folder. Overwrite when asked. F-15C: Aggressors BFM Campaign on Steam Purchase from: STEAM Store F-15C: Aggressors BFM Campaign The F-15C Aggressors BFM campaign puts you in the cockpit of an F-15C Eagle as a new Aggressor pilot with the 65th Aggressor Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base. There are over 1,000 voice-overs and over 45 pages of briefing material including the F-15C Amplified Checklist, RED FLAG Spins, Red Forces In Flight Guide, Maps, Diagrams, Custom Kneeboards and Mission Data cards. DCS World War II Update An important aspect DCS World War II is the addition of additional player-controlled and AI aircraft. Some of these include the P-47D, Mosquito, A-20, C-47, Fw 190 A-8, and Ju-88. All of these are various stages of development, and they will serve a vital role in fleshing out the DCS World II experience in concert with the new damage modelling, new World War II era maps, and dogfight AI. As each of these elements progress to the point we’re ready to introduce in DCS World, we’ll be talking about them much, much more. Today we’d like to show off some of the P-47D skins we are working on, as well as the Mosquito. Sincerely, The Eagle Dynamics Team

F-15C, the next version will be the one with the "knob" on the top nose, parts are nearly ready Planed version will be: F-15A F-15C F-15C "late" You guys can use those versions and create your own stuff with your skins, each version with a different skin needs a new "pilot part"

I like the effect very much, adds to the atmosphere, especially for the Italian front. Would like to see something similar done for the Palestine theater too, such as sand dunes with bits of grass or weeds sticking out. Now if we could only come up with some kind of ini trick to make the trees solid like in WOFFue/RB3D, or to place some kind of field of "invisible poles" in the same area where there are lots of trees - and I will be very happy indeed. (Already happy with FE2 but it doesn't hurt to push it further.) Happy flying gents', Von S

It's incorrectly placed, as everyone know R'lyeh is a the bottom of the Pacific, untouchable by Man. Hi there, In one occasion I was en route to a target area named like XYZ Temple (yeah, me too. sounds nonsense right) in Kamchatka terrain mod by Baltika and updated by Wrench (further with Stary's detail 250m mesh...) When I was closing in at the target, there was an unexpected EW Radar installation and all a sudden, jumped by the sightings... see the image below Is that one of the easter eggs for the terrain and if that's true, is there any background info./ local tradition things related to it ??
