The Convair B-58 Hustler was the first operational jet bomber capable of Mach 2 flight.[2] The aircraft was designed by Convair and developed for the United States Air Force (USAF) for service in the Strategic Air Command (SAC) during the 1960s.[3] It used a delta wing, which was also employed by Convair fighters such as the F-102, with four General Electric J79 engines in underwing pods. It carried five nuclear weapons; four on pylons under the wings, and one nuclear weapon and fuel in a combination bomb/fuel pod under the fuselage, rather than in an internal bomb bay. unpack and move folders to their respective places Model: Veltro2k Sounds, Snum tgas in unit folders.................................... 2 pointsWhat if the USAF decided to introduce the bigger, more versatile and more sophisticated version of the F-16? Here's what I called the Lockheed/Mitsubishi F-26 Super Falcon. It's obviously the Mitsubishi F-2A with CFTs borrowed from the old F-16 mods, US-made weapons and avionics. The original Japanese camo was too unusual for the USAF so I repainted it completely with the colors of "Mod Eagle" scheme, adding my own touch to the weathering since the F-2 template lacks weathering at all. The aircraft pictured below belongs to the 510th FS "Buzzards", 31st FW, Aviano AB. I have some more ideas with this bird so stay tuned And yes, there's a f*ckup with the right side of the vertical tail with "VA" instead of "AV" code.

Good news, finally with the release of our latest update to V1.14 for WINGS OVER THE REICH we bring ... the stunning Flyable SPITFIRE Mk Ia for FREE! All WOTR purchasers can now experience close up, the beauty and grace of the Spitfire Mk Ia together with its other side, power and ferocity. Mix it up with the superb war machines of the Luftwaffe in the Battle of Britain! This is our 'thank you' to all who support us by purchasing WOTR. This release also comes packed with new improvements and fixes - more on that below... Just a few of the great comments about the Spitfire Mk Ia and the WOTR Update V1.14 from WOTR users in our forum: - Thanks for the Spit, she is a work of Art. - It's absolutely perfect! It appears to be, I'd argue, the most accurate Mk.I Spit created for a sim. - The Spitfire is a great addition! Really like the flight model. - I must say I am very impressed with the Spit. The cockpit is immaculate... Fantastic job OBD!! She really is a treat.. - Brilliant, absolutely brilliant thanks - the list of improvements alone is impressive, let alone the Spitfire flyable (for free, no less). Great!.. - Spitfire's a treat to fly. - First flight, fantastic mission ... the spit's an absolute joy to fly. Loving it. - Wow what a beautiful job OBD have done with the Spit.. Love her. Since our last newsletter some time ago, many new features, improvements and fixes have been added in several free updates. These are also incorporated into the latest V1.14 of course. A few examples include; Improved AI flight co-ordination especially for the German bombers and fighters. Improved AI - better landing, collision avoidance and more. Added 100s of aircraft squadron skins, and the ability for WOTR to assign them automatically to your Squadron flight members individually, if the squadron skin sets exist. British Hurricane and Spitfire squadrons have many sets currently, with more to follow for the German BF109 E4. Various improvements including increased bomber formation sizes and more optional flight density settings. Improved AI aircraft engine start-up sounds for all aircraft. Improved Scenery added new wooded areas and more. Performance improvements and new workshop options to tailor settings and much more. The WOTR V1.14 update also includes a set of JG 3 squadron skins for the BF109 E4 as a taste of things to come. Now when you fly in JG 3 all the members of your squadron will fly with uniquely numbered and coloured aircraft. We are working on more squadron skins for the BF109 E4. Recently PC Pilot Magazine (March/April 2019 issue) published aWings Over The Reich Interview with us here at OBD Software. We hope to follow up with more reviews. Please visit our Website for more details on all the above. The full history of changes are listed below the download itself on our downloads page. This aircraft mod represents Dassault's what-if Mirage 4000BA fighter and its trainer BB variant in the Belgian Air Force service. Since the company always created several variants of each type based on costumer requirement and evolution of technology, other national oriented types and variants will be uploaded as separate packages. This package comes with 1 skin set for each variant, with decals for BA (18 planes), and for BB (8 planes). This model is meant for SF2 games only, SF1 variants will be uploaded at the SF1 section. Install is the regular dropping the contents in their respective places. In case you have the prototype or French A and B variants you can skip the overwrite prompt of weapons as those 6 items are identical. Please note: The model can be quite heavy on FPS in large formations on weaker machines, so if required, either resize skin files or use lower lods(_nd,001,002,003) as lod1. The model uses the general french and NATO weapons, either as part of weapon packs or the Mirage 2000 family. Important: The BB variant comes with 2 types of cockpit, the basic setup will use a simple pit that has only the pilots cabin instrumented. The other is a fully modeled front and rear compartment, in which you want to fly you should activate the proper line in the AC's.ini file. CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000BB_Cockpit.ini <---- basic setup ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000BB_Cockpit_full1.ini <------ front seat ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000BB_Cockpit_full2.ini <------ rear seat Be aware - the piloting seat position can not be changed during/in game, so chose wisely! Make sure to read the manual included with the package. ---------------------- Creators of these Aircraft mods as members of CombatAce site: Original 3D work: Cocas Aircraft 3d update and additional changes: Logan4 Cockpit 3d work: Logan4 Aircraft FM: Cliff7600 Aircraft avionics: Loborojo, Cliff7600, logan4 Skin files and decals: Flogger23, Cliff7600, logan4, loborojo Cockpit files: Logan4, Cliff7600 Thanks to Crusader for additional brochure files Big thanks to members of CombatAce for helping and answering our questions and in sorting out some of the issues we got while creating this mod. 1 pointIt's a known problem with some old models that were either not meant for the "new" dynamic shadow model, or had bugged meshes that were never fixed by the author. The easiest fix is to disable the shadows on that particular plane, it's not ideal but usually the only clean solution. You can do that by locating the Objects/Aircraft/[PlaneName]/[PlaneName].ini file for the plane with a problem and change : ... [Shadow] CastShadow=TRUE ... to ... [Shadow] CastShadow=FALSE ...

1 pointI remeber in 80`s at RAF St Athans near me...watching in air show, phantom of the RAF take off vertical to a dot and gone...amazing sights sounds and memories...good old days....plus vulcan at 100ft...climb out soooooo noisy but worth the pain lol This is how one Lt delivered an aircraft back in 80`s and yes its genuine. as you see it didnt happen just once..IIRC pilot of F4 was A Flt LT J Pearce

1 pointdid not know that about the Skyhawks, learn somethin new everyday on the repaint! although i recall reading somewhere the Phantoms in SEA were called toads until they got repainted after the war. fallenphoenix, if you ever read the book Warriors, it prologues at this timeframe. the main character John Bennett is in a F-8 squadron on the Hancock, and after getting this briefing he surmises that if the Isrealis need F-8s they are hurting real bad. yeah, a fiction book from 1990 was my introduction to this bit of history, found out about ten years later it was true

1 pointWhat it is about " 63% objects do not belong in this sim?" that you don't? By all means make whatever objects you like. But don't try to pretend that they fit the existing sim because "someone once told me to do this, it is in my notes so it must be right"; or expect people to agree with you. The FE terrains, and many of the early SF terrains, are at about 63% of real-world size, as Wrench has rightly said (there are also many full-sized SF terrains these days). If that is a justification for 63% objects, then all the aircraft should be 63% also. Like Mue, I do not understand why you are so offensive to others, and hostile to the plain facts. There are no 63% objects in FE1, FE2, SF1 or SF2, except those made by you. If I had to guess, I would say that you have realised that you made an unwarranted design decision a while back, and can't bear to admit that it was wrong. Your mind is made up, and you won't be confused by any facts, but that is no excuse for slagging off at those who prefer accuracy and consistency in the sim.

Canberra PR.57: tropicalized PR.7 for India. 8 (1957) + 2 (1963) delivered. Canberra PR.67: 2 refurbished PR.7s sold to India in 1971. No. 106 Squadron ("Lynxes") is a squadron of the Indian Air Force. It was raised on 1 May 1957 with eight newly inducted PR.57 English Electric Canberras in the strategic photo-reconnaissance role.[3] Initially positioned at Bareilly, later the squadron moved to Agra. When the Canberras were retired in 2007, the squadron was equipped with Hawker Siddeley HS 748. One of the early commanding officers of No. 106 Squadron, Wing Commander Jaggi Nath, who was awarded a Maha Vir Chakra in both the 1965 and 1971 wars, said : “106 Squadron (with the Canberra PR.57/PR.67) was not just an Air Force asset, it was a national asset”. WHAT'S IN: - 2 planes - 4 skins, historical decals - screens, sounds, seats CREDITS: - TW/TK: plane model - Ghostrider883 for references and help - Ludo: templates - Yakarov79 bump maps - Paulopanz: skins, decals, screens, ini edits INSTALL: - all in main mod folder Enjoy @paulopanz -

1 pointA suggestion, a skin for on delivery with rough Stars of David applied over the USN grey. As hurtin as the IDF was in Oct 73, they wouldnt have bothered with painting camo until after the war. The marking wouldve likely been big enough to cover the US insignia, and lettering ( NAVY, two letter codes) painted over(maybe with green or brown). USN Squadron colors, insignia on tail, and numbers probably wouldnt have been bothered with until a full repaint. Sorry for nitpickin, just some thoughts.

1 pointBeen pretty busy with RL but got some work done on some desert trucks. I'm working on some high poly models that are not suitable for TW's antique game engine - green trucks in foreground. Lower poly trucks, suitable for the TW game engine, have partially completed skins that resemble the finished product Final shot shows a selection of other high poly vehicles in development that will be placed in Tunisian scenes using the Unreal Engine.

Hello SF2 Flyers, For the post-WW2 prop. high-performance aircraft, several tweaks have been applied to the data inis, ranging from lift values for wings and wing tips to the engine section, prop. rpms, flight control section, gears section, flaps, also empty weight, inertia values, ceilings, engine sounds, rudder reversal effect fix, aileron/elevator/rudder sensitivity and movement, etc., depending on the type tweaked. Tweaks are not as extensive as for my FE2 work - but I've tried to get them into the "90% realistic enough" category for SF2 since these high-performance types are difficult to precision peg to within a km or two of historical stats., in contrast to the slower-moving FE2 types. Also included with this package are my minor data ini tweaks for several Flogger types, such as the MiG-23 S, early M, ML, P, MLA, late variant "98," and export variants MF and MS. Many thanks to the original FM modders for the late prop. types, including Baffmeister, Wrench, Cocas, MontyCZ, Charles of A-Team, Coupi, Paolopanz, and others I may not have mentioned here. The data inis are for SF2 installs only, tested at hard FM settings (no guarantees that the AI can land them nicely, although they fly them just fine). The Me109 G5 and H0 are variants on the stock G10 package provided on CombatAce (to install simply copy the relevant aircraft folders, rename as per my included folders, and drop in the relevant files). P-47 Sprint upgrades are variants on the ETO P-47D Bubbletop model and PTO P-47D Razorback model. Also included with this package are three sounds for a Pratt-Whitney, Centaurus, and Me109 either Benz or Hisso powered (sound works good for both). Links to the relevant aircraft that correspond with these data ini tweaks are located in the included "Read Me" file with the package. Please go through the Read Me for more thorough info. regarding these FM tweaks. Version 1.2 of this package includes the P-47N and improves the data inis for the other Jug and Superbolt variants. Happy flying, Von S DISCLAIMER: All Von S mods, for FE2, SF2, also WOFFue, are subject to the CombatAce "freeware" terms of agreement. Mods may be shared with others, included on other media devices, also modded further, providing that original documentation and/or credit is included, and providing that the mods remain free to use. Von S mods shall not be sold, resold, etc., and Von S takes no responsibility for injuries or fixations that may result from flying heavily tweaked FMs or from attempts to enjoy real flying without aid or instruction from a qualified flight instructor. -

Photo reconnaissance version of the F.8, first flown 29 March 1950, 59 built for the Royal Air Force. The PR Mk 10 was designed, in parallel with the FR Mk 9, to replace the Spitfire PR Mk XI and PR Mk XIX as a highaltitude photographic reconnaissance aircraft. To help achieve good performance at high-altitude the longer span wings (43ft 6in) and the tail assembly, fitted to the early F Mk 4s, were both employed but armament was removed. WHAT's IN: - a new plane - 7 skins from 2,13,81,541 squadrons - historical decals, screens, pilot, weapons, sounds CREDITS: - Yakarov79: model, temps, inis - paulopanz: skins, decals, tweaks INSTALL: - all in your main mod folder OPERATIONS: - canopy open key 10 - autoclosing at takeoff Enjoy: @paulopanz -

0 pointsFine. You clowns have been pestering me since day one because you ASSUMED I was interested in your opinions. Not once have I ever said I cared about SF or the views of SF fanboyz. Not once. Despite that, you clowns persisted in coming to the FE threads and ASSUMING that your inputs were relevant despite the fact that none of you know anything about professional art direction/design. I do not care what you think, and never have. If this unfortunate situation is what it takes to get you clowns to shut up and go away then so be it.
