Today I posted the Spanish version of the DH.9 in the First Eagles, Golden Era download section. During the 1920's Hispano-Suiza made about 500 DH.9's for the Spanish Air Force. About 25 were still in service when the Spanish Civil War started in 1936 and were used by both the Republican and Nationalist forces. I made two versions, one for each side, with appropriate skins, decals, and bomb loadouts. Bombs and skinning templates are included with the download. Installation instructions for both FE1 and FE2 are included.

After some evaluation and thinking I took the decision to release two versions , for each SF series, a cold era version of the plane. The cold era version will load out conventional bombs. The post cold war era version will use the conventional tipped rockets/bombs for SF-1 and rockets, bombs, cruise missiles for SF-2. The motivation behind this decision is to deliver believable, solid FM (it takes time to tweak and test it) and , also, for the post cold era SF-2 version we need more time to test and tweak the cruise missiles settings etc. I know you all wait for the release and I hope I won't disappoint you for taking a little longer time than I thought, just to offer you a quality product, exactly as you all expected. I expect to release the cold era version in 2-3 weeks and the post cold era version in 2-3 months.Thank you.

Into the "options" tab, Graphics option, and lower your Effects Detail setting to "High" (NOT unlimited), and you'll be fine. A lot of us have had this one come up.

Can anyone highlight/make sticky 1 of the 237 threads that have been opened about the issue?

What would an addon be without the right atmospheric buildings to get you properly in the mood of things, only 1/2 as good right? So as in all my addons new cities are build trying to capture that atmosphere. In this light a new colorfull MedTer building set is under devellopment and this is a first try of the first city model out of 5 or 6 or so. A new model with appropiate R/S and just a start to use every polygon and node 3D models will allow. These objects are a real pita to build when done right, but this isn't my first try. Ofcourse the texture is what makes or breaks the model, and a lot of time is spend on gathering the right (copyright free) pictures and mold them for use in the game, or if necessary construct it from my parts and buildings database, which is growing fast. I'm sorry for the low quality picture and distortions to prevent unauthorised use of my drawings, I hope there's sufficient left for an impression of what's to come This is the first finished MedTer city block out of 6 to come. These proofed to be a little more problematic then I thought but it got there in the end. In total I spend 100 hours on this creation, including gathering textures, and it's still not finished yet. The toughest part, getting the rendering sequence to work is done but now the detailing starts. VonBeerhofen

Neither the 22 or the 23 is as pig ugly as the F-35, hate the damn thing. But, oh those Russians !! They can make a pretty aeroplane for sure, Sukhoi in particular . The Flanker was sexy as hell, but this is just as gorgeous .

I think I'll take the lazy approach next week. One shot of an F-4 shooting down a MiG-23/27 - that works for MiG Monday, Two-Seater Tuesdays, and Phantom Phriday, and Swing Wing Saturday.

If you read Erik's reply carefully he gives you the way you can have limitless pictures uploaded... From there you can link them to the topics you want to include them. So instead of going multiple rounds what and how should be changed, etc, use the data people give you to solve issues, its right there just have to read it, understand it and apply it.....

Thx for posting the photos. It's embarrassing I can't do it myself because of that hitch of the website. We'll see about future projects. It all depends how people will react to this very first project. If it will be a hit then there are chances that work will go further. We'll see.

Testing was finished. The 3D model is solid but a few ajustments must be made for the FM plus a few minor issues. In the shortest time possible these problems will be addressed. I'll keep you posted. I'm busy last time, but German IDS is going slowly forward. It will be ready soon ;-)
