1 pointThnx guys...ive got 2nd pylon for other weaps...Pylon_LOW_MISC sorted...renamed meshname to rail name and works... if I leave out the donotremove statement the pylon disappears if no IRMs selected so left it in llowedWeaponClass=ARM,SAHM,IRM,ASM,AHM AttachmentType=USAF,UK,NATO ModelNodeName=LOW_RAIL DoNotDetachPylon=TRUE PylonMass=60 RailLaunched=FALSE PylonDragArea=0.02
-
1 pointSparrows (and many others) are usually not set up in their weapon's data.ini with launch rail load requirement. RailLaunched=FALSE So if it is only for sparrows and/or large missiles, I advice you to merge the rail to the pylon, alternate route leave out the launch rail name, that way always will show. In case you want to use the pylon also for a2g stuff like bombs then duplicate the pylon and set up a separate station for those.

1 pointAfter some evaluation and thinking I took the decision to release two versions , for each SF series, a cold era version of the plane. The cold era version will load out conventional bombs. The post cold war era version will use the conventional tipped rockets/bombs for SF-1 and rockets, bombs, cruise missiles for SF-2. The motivation behind this decision is to deliver believable, solid FM (it takes time to tweak and test it) and , also, for the post cold era SF-2 version we need more time to test and tweak the cruise missiles settings etc. I know you all wait for the release and I hope I won't disappoint you for taking a little longer time than I thought, just to offer you a quality product, exactly as you all expected. I expect to release the cold era version in 2-3 weeks and the post cold era version in 2-3 months.Thank you.

1 pointApril 2020: VFA-14 Tophatters: Based on the USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) navigating Gulf of Dhimar in multinational "Operation Dragonbreath". Our mission is to help Dhimar counter the increassing terrorist attacks, neighbouring Paran is in deep turmoil and there have been repeated attacks against border cities, some of them even including APC and targetting our troops in the ground. During early morning we got a call from USMC troops, codename Ravagers, while on foot patrol they got ambushed by enemy APC's and infantry squads in the market of the town.As QRA aircraft we are sent to deal with the threat and help the marines in the close quarters of the city. The bad guys... At the carrier deck We were launched with a heavy load, so we need to refuel on the way to the coast. After the refuel, we head to the coast, apporaching Moshak Marines are heavy pressed, and we start picking our targets in the streets of the city JDAM away. The USAF boys are heavy at work as well. Rifle: Shack! Our job is paying in gold, but we're getting fired as well. But now the enemy is in full retreat, the marines were able to disengage, and the help is on the way... Is now time to get back to the carrier. Circling... busy deck. And parked, time for some late breakfast. The mission was a total succes, killed 3 BTR60 and 2 BTR 152, the USAF killed some guys on the ground, so I got this... The mission was really fun, had to spend sometime designing it to have everything in place, but it was both fun and entertaining, and above all I felt like a real pilot in a close quarter situation. I aligned each shot to avoid hitting buildings in the ground, and tried to follow all the procedures I read on real operations books. SF2 still has some great potential! During the flight I palyed a real firefight between US troops and talibans, so it was more realistic trying to save those guys on the ground. Sorry for so much pics, hope you enjoyed.

1 pointThx for posting the photos. It's embarrassing I can't do it myself because of that hitch of the website. We'll see about future projects. It all depends how people will react to this very first project. If it will be a hit then there are chances that work will go further. We'll see.

1 pointMost likely those 568 are mostly subvariants with different skins and armaments. As I have seen in some videos of Modern Combat, there were for instance separate Eurofighters for Germany, Italy, UK etc. Same plane with a different skin shown as a new one in the menu screen, so to speak. Those mobile games use the Unity engine, which is perfect when it comes to small, quick games for mobile and PC. The models lack a transparent canopy glass and the number of polys (which is fine for a mobile game) seems low when compared to that of stock SF2 planes. It isn't worth to port those into SF2 anyway, unless they could be easily reworked, IMHO. The clouds' rendering instead, I could use some of that! But it's a totally different engine...
