    weird anomalie with skin....might be mesh needs xform reset...dunno....managed to get it to stay upright....helo expert im not...might need some help..from someone who knows heli models in game better...I understand the basics of the RCS positions for the roll pitch etc...the rest im lost lol... anyways will stumble on and sort it... dunno whats with the weird shadow and light areas...will check meshes...at least most of it is ok....pilot is black and is nearly sucked into intake lol...I know whats wrong...co pilot is fine...(both came with helo,and I created them seperate...) western look Indian\Pakistani...and Chines \ Vietnames looking...Pilot with hands on controls...and co pilot sat watching lol

    As some of you may know, there is a mod in the works for the 1st Indochina War. I'm going to share some of the aircraft that will be in the mod, eventually Everything used herein is available here at CA, or are stock aircraft "adjusted" to fit. Nothing from anywhere else will be used or discussed. Unless someone want to build new ones... The terrain (VietnamSEA) is in heavy rework, as Menrva has scrapped off everything above the bedrock, and we are rebuilding it, litteraly, from the ground up. It will, however, remain the "stock" 63% size. Reminder: several of the aircraft will not be seen as they're "unavailable". To remedy this, stand in's or aircraft used by the units will have later versions implemented earlier (ie: C-47 for Toucan). Several aircraft used are VERY old, and do have several flaws (mesh bleeds with decals, shadow ropes, incorrect shapes, etc) Please try and hold your questions until all the images have been posted! DO NOT POST THEM WITHIN THIS SCREENSHOT THREAD -- THAT'S NOT WHAT THE SCREENSHOT FORUM IS FOR!!! POST THEM IN THE GENERAL DISCUSSION FORUM, IF NEEDED.     As the existing aircraft wore out or rotted (Mosquito), new aircraft were sent from France. In this case "almost" new Spitfire Mk.IXs. When the crated Spitfire Mk. IXs arrived from France, replacing the worn out ex-IJAAF & IJN aircraft they were assembled somewhat piecemeal. "C" fuselages were given "E" wings and vice versa, and both models served with the same squadrons. Since the game engine does not allow for mixed aircraft units, C & E winged Spits will all be seperate. Each of the units rotated through French Indochina, and those dates are listed on the texture set ini, and the displayed name, as below: Spit9C: GC II/7 "Nice" (<3/46) GC I/7 "Provence" (<3/46) GC II/2 "Cigones" <7/46 GC I/4 "Dauphine" (<6/47) GC I/6 "Corse" (<4/50-51) Spit 9E GC II/4 "La Fayette" (<6/47) GC II/3 "Champagne" (<12/48) ----------------------------------------------------- Aircraft shown below are: GC II/2 Cigones GC II/4 Lafayette Next Up: Airacobras

    So I bit the bullet and did a total reinstall of SF2 Air & Ground War Expansion Pack + updates + Green Hell 3.5 + Green Hell Enhancements.. Wow..what a package! Green Hell 3.5 looks fantastic (Stary is THE MAN!) - more subdued colors and just awesome. With the newly updated package, the SF2 Vietnam executable is working with vorpX and it is awesome! I'll get some through the lens pictures tomorrow..but I did record a bit of my 2D monitor while flying in VR...

    We just received a picture from the U.S.S. Odyssey helping in the construction of the first lunar airbase (or spacebase?), which will help in the development more of human outposts. They will carry the textures in later trips...

    Sorry, guys. I have been dealing with RL issues lately. I have good news for the add-on, though. Since I had to postpone the release, I have asked for some more changes to the cockpit and aircraft 3d models. The new changes are well worth the wait IMHO. The release is going to happen (on February or March), I have worked too much on this add-on, as well as the other members of the development team did. Just wait a little longer.

    yup You can occasionally run into some strange trees areas...etc. but I run same config as you (Generally as My exp Pack is highly modded and handpicked necessary objects for my use) and I do not give a damn.... As long as I am serious about the mission I am spending the whole duration in cockpit....so hell with what is down there..

    OK, I can finally move SF2 Vietnam Expansion up into the WORKING category! I did a total clean reinstall of that mod and right now it is working. Now to add in some of the mods that I had added to that to juice things up a bit....

    Try updating it to the latest patch which is the oct2008 patch and use the ENB generic as that helps the frame rate, I've put it in the attachment and I like to credit VonS for posting it as that help me with frame rate issue with first Eagles 2, I hope these will help enbseries_generic_v0076.zip

    You're welcome. If every in doubt about "is this plane player flyable or AI only", check the aircraft selection drop down on the single mission menu. Saves shitloads of time

    It's probably not your video card, but the drivers. Have you updated them recently?

    If you have a nvidia graphics card updated drivers might be the problem. If that's the case, try reverting to the last working set of drivers.

    Ukraine Navy Version slightly differs...no side blisters,and what looks like an extra fuel tank maybe..(red hose)...different antennaes for Sonar etc..(flag needs flipping yep) didnt used to like the Kamov...but actually love this little helo...a lot

    For my old Afghanistan terrain i made a Muli with a Taliban. Its old and was made for WOE, but better then nothing. Here a screen frm LOD viewer. In game the muli is grey. TalibanEseltreiber.7z Unzip in your groundobjects folder. It will appeare in Armed_recon mission as target in columns, like the Trucks. edit: ingame screenshot from Afghanistan terrain.

    Wouldn't be cool to have mule packs? Both sides used them in the war, specially in mountain areas. One thing I do on my Vietnam install is protect unarmed convoys from enemy ambushes, just CAS missions with trucks advancing in line into an ambush, you need to be fast to destroy the enemy before your trucks are ambushed and destroyed. Wondering If Stephen1918 could adapt his cavalry to this role (would be useful for WWII mods as well). BTW, my Green Hell looks differente from your, you're using a older version, right?
