Love the new guuruu' Midway,now I need finish the correct skin/markings for the Coral Sea F-18 squadrons during the Libyan operations of the 1986...

Versions completed..need add armored screen to G....finishing skin or two,and some decals,and finishing texturing the tanks etc....then some data editing....hmmmm nice lol

I have uploaded the Sopwith Triplane. Ojcar took the time from his very busy schedule to tweak the FM. I want to thank him for that. The plane has two skins, one for the French and one for the British, with a full set of decals. I spent some time tweaking the cockpit and skins. I also improved the landing gear animations.

Thank you gentlemen. The flight characteristics are due entirely to Ojcar's FM. My planes wouldn't be as nice without his help. I have started on an early tail plane version and a two gun version. There is a surprising amount of work involved for such minor changes. I'll have to change all four LODs for each version, then make new skins. For the two gun version, I'll need to make a new cockpit as well. Ojcar will also have to tweak the FMs. I can't predict how long it will take.

Yeah, I forgot that point about the price; though GOG allows other developers to release (much newer) games on their platform at the price they set. At that point, it's up to the customer to spend $20 for an outdated game. It might be "light sim trash" in the eyes of many other customers, but it's a title (still) widely supported by the community with amazing mods, much like Il-2 1946 on this aspect. It also covers unique time periods and conflicts, it's a Cold War anthology of fighter jets and the conflicts they were used in, there's no real rival to SF2 in this regard. Publishers did wrongs to TK at the time of the SF1 generation of games. I wonder why Wings Over Europe is on Steam; I might be wrong, but I think TK doesn't get revenues from that title on Steam, it's all money to the publisher. On WoE's Steam page, just click on Third Wire Productions, and you're redirected to Strategy First. That's bad. At the same time, TK took questionable decisions, so he's partly to blame. TW's games were not widely publicized, especially outside of the US. I discovered Wings Over Europe by chance, ages ago when I was a kid. It's a niche genre, but I'm sure others don't even know about SF2.

I guess the cut they take is still too much for TK to live from. If it wasn't for the issue with the publisher StrategyFirst, putting the "Wings over ..." on gog would probably get some people to look for more ...

Good job, Stephen1918 - as with all your models it worked well right out of the box! Flying it seems a little tail-heavy, however, so maybe adding some extra weight to the nose (i.e, a second Vickers Mk.2) might help? Only kidding!

Personally, I'm not too worried about the landing gear, even though I appreciate it's important for many others, but I mostly make contact with the ground in a spectacular crash. Anyway, this is really something to look forward to. The plane is great, but the cockpit...sublime.

why? most folks have working SF2 on W10....dig into video drivers. Perhaps never...or not soon ..not soon - possibly never.
