This is a Beta mod, anyone who wants to help and finish it, thank you in advance. Also for campaigns that I failed to activate due to strategic nodes, ground troops are therefore inactive. I hope that someone will not resent me because I used some elements from other mods, all with the best intention to bring the best possible atmosphere to everyone on the forum here. Thank you for your understanding. I also thank my development team, first of all Stratos, Tiopilotos and others. -

2 pointsIn reality the Yak-130 has no afterburner. So i think the model should have no afterburner too. BTW, not only the italian M-346, but also the chinese Hongdu L-15 is basing on the Yak-130 and looks very similar. What means you get 3 planes for one with the Yak-130 model.

1 pointHello everyone, I am working on a new menu for SF2. It is a slow WIP. I will share the progress here. For now, I have created two screens as my rough draft / conceptual arts. I am working on creating 3D looking buttons and Is still learning how to edit .ini files from various menu mods. I always wanted a Jane's Fighter Anthology style GUI / Menu for SF2. Now I have decided to give it a try! Here are screenshots SF2 Main Menu Mission Briefing (WIP, I am still tweaking and adding a few more items) Here are three versions of buttons: Regular, mouse hovering over it, and mouse clicking. Feedback are always appreciated.

1 pointDear Pilots, Good news on all fronts this week as we continue our march towards completion of Battle of Normandy and ramp up work on Flying Circus II. We hope to have some pics of the first FCII plane, the Nieuport 28 soon for you, but today we’ll stick to WWII. As you already know, We have several aircraft in development and the closest, actually very close, to completion is the Spitfire Mk.XIV which is currently in beta testing. Below are a few pics. This plane is a beast with its Griffon engine and shooting down Doodlebugs with it is going to be a blast. Speaking of Buzz Bombs, our V-1 is going to be treated just like an aircraft. It will have a detailed damage model, so you can damage parts of it like the wings, the pulse-jet engine, the warhead (boom!) or if you’re talented enough tip it over with your wing! More on the V-1 as we develop it this summer. Next, we have some early pics of the very cool Me-410 ‘Hornisse’ and the Ar-234 jet bomber. The images speak for themselves. The Hornisse strikes me as the German response to the Mosquito no? Who do you think would win in a dogfight between a 410 and a Mosquito? Did they ever duel during the war I wonder? .In addition to new planes, we have made some tweaks to some of our oldest, namely our 109 series. When we overhauled the damage system several months ago, we had to make a temporary change to the 109’s tail assembly to avoid a bug that caused certain parts to stay attached to the plane after other damaged tail parts had been blown off. All 109s other than the E-7 was affected. The temporary change we made was to fuse the vertical stabilizer and the horizontal stabs making them one part which basically tripled their strength and the likelihood of them ever coming off was three times less likely, so basically never. To remedy this, we needed the model team re-build these tails and make a new failure point in the vertical stabilizer (like on the E-7) and break up this fused tail into their proper damageable and detachable sections. Remember that before we did any of this, the 109’s tail assembly was the ultimate ‘kill button’, push it and the entire tail would come off, not just part of a stabilizer like other planes. Of course, you can also just blow off the elevators and rudder if you hit them right. In the images below you can see this new reality in action during combat. I shot off the vert stab and rudder in one image and the horizontal stab and elevator in another. This should solve the so called “109 concrete tail” phenomenon. 109 tails now behave like all other tail sections in the sim. An. Petrovich Lead Engineer's Note: Initially, 3D models of all 109s except the E7 had the point of broken tail in such a place that the loss of the vertical stabilizer simultaneously led to the loss of the entire horizontal stabilizer. One successful shot in the vertical stabilizer could immediately deprive the plane of all its tail surfaces. Of course, it looked catastrophic (you called it "crystal tails"). And only in the E7 (as in all other aircraft in the game), the 3D model made it possible to separate the vertical stabilizer and the central part of the horizontal stabilizer separately. When we completely redesigned the damage system a few months ago, this limitation of the 109's 3D models did not allow us to fully correct the situation with the strength of their empennage, and we had to temporarily block the loss of vertical stabilizer for these aircraft. Although the aircraft could still lose the ends of the left and right horizontal stabilizer consoles, elevators or rudder. However, the fact that it became impossible for all Messerschmitts (except for E7) to shoot the vertical stabilizer and the central part of the horizontal stabilizer caused criticism from the players, and now the tails of the 109s were called "concrete". It was only possible to do it "right" by completely reworking the 3D models of these tails and adding a new break point on the vertical stabilizer (as in E-7). Which is what we did in the end. Work on the Tactical Codes feature continues and although we don’t have them working on all aircraft and vehicles yet, the technology works great and the images below gives and idea of how it will work and look. It’s not totally final yet so final result may vary a little. Work on the Dynamic Visual Damage system also continues and is currently being applied to our tanks. When it’s perfected on the tanks, we will then work to apply it to aircraft. Finally, in the next update we will include 4K skins for the Mc.202 and Ju 88 A-4 made by our talented partner Martin “ICDP” Catney. To celebrate this, I have made these interesting posters showing these new skins side by side. They make quite a colorful display. We hope to do this kind of graphic for all our aircraft eventually. Speaking of new skins, Martin is now working on 4K skins for the Spitfire Mk.Vb. This means both marks of Spitfires in Great Battles will now have 4K skins soon. The beautiful image below of the Macchi skins reminds me to say that I intend to make an Italian pilot for the 202 later this year. Similar to how we made the female Soviet pilot. The images below are 4K so you can re-size them and use as wallpaper is you are so inclined. Mc.202 Poster Full JU-88 Poster Full See you in the skies and on the battlefield! SF2 WW2 ETO YB-40 Destroyer by Veltro2K -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = This is the release of the YB-40 by Veltro2k, an extensively modified B-17F that was experimentaly used by the 8th AF as an escort placed with regular B-17 formations. The aircraft depicted here were those 12 used by the 92nd Bombardment Group (H), 327th Bomb Squadron based at RAF Alconbury. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Serial numbers and plane-in-squadron letter are 100% historical and are matched to their proper aircraft. 2 skins are supplies; the only difference is one uses the early 'star-and-ball' (pre-Sept 43). The other uses the 'star-and-bar' (post-Sept 43). Both skins are Olive Drab over Neutral Gray. The aircraft has less than a one year service life, nearly approximating the Real World (tm) usage. When in-game, you'll see YB-40 Flying Fortress (v2k) on the aircraft selection drop-down list. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Happy Hunting! Wrench Kevin Stein Credits: Veltro2k for the aircraft Kesselbrut for the cockpt ??? for the pilot figures Me, for stuff -

This aircraft mod represents Dassault's probable initial Mirage 4000A fighter and its trainer B variant in the French Air Force service. Since the company always created several variants of each type based on costumer requirement and evolution of technology, other national oriented types and variants will be uploaded as separate packages. This package comes with 3 skin sets for each variant, 3 squadron specific for A (18 planes), and 3 squadron sets for B (8 planes) and special Tiger Meet skin for a single AC. This model is meant for SF2 games only, SF1 variants will be uploaded at the SF1 section. Install is the regular dropping the contents in their respective places. In case you have the prototype variant you can skip the overwrite prompt of weapons as those 4 items are identical. Please note: The model can be quite heavy on FPS in large formations on weaker machines, so if required, either resize skin files or use lower lods(_nd,001,002,003) as lod1. The model uses the general french weapons, either as part of weapon packs or the Mirage 2000 family. Important: The B variant comes with 2 types of cockpit, the basic setup will use a simple pit that has only the pilots cabin instrumented. The other is a fully modeled front and rear compartment, in which you want to fly you should activate the proper line in the AC's.ini file. CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000B_Cockpit.ini <---- basic setup ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000B_Cockpit_full1.ini <------ front seat ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000B_Cockpit_full2.ini <------ rear seat Be aware - the piloting seat position can not be changed during/in game, so chose wisely! Make sure to read the manual included with the package. ---------------------- Creators of these Aircraft mods as members of CombatAce site: Original 3D work: Cocas Aircraft 3d update and additional changes: Logan4 Cockpit 3d work: Logan4 Aircraft FM: Cliff7600 Aircraft avionics: Loborojo, Cliff7600, logan4 Skin files and decals: Flogger23, Cliff7600, logan4, loborojo Cockpit files: Logan4, Cliff7600 Thanks to Crusader for additional brochure files Big thanks to members of CombatAce for helping and answering our questions and in sorting out some of the issues we got while creating this mod. TMF Boeing 707-300 Comprehensive Skinpack This mod will replace the individual skins for the TMF 707 and adds my multi airline skins to it, covering the eras from the early 1960s until the late 1980s and will add some eye candy to your parking ramps or make for interesting intercept and escort targets INSTALLATION This is only a skin pack with some additional items. First you will need the original located here: then unzip and add this mod as well. allow overwrites. You can delete the previous skins if you want, as they are represented in the skin pack IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN NATIONS.INI, ADD FROM THE GIVEN TEXT FILE. This is for heavily modded installs INCLUDED Decal sets covering most major users from 1959 until 1989 Skins to cover that time period in 9 blocks, with bare metal base skins Nations and Formations ini for the "Airline" nation KNOWN ISSUES Number 1: THIS THING IS BIG! the fuselage tgas are 2048x2048 (working with details over an entire fuselage rather than basic colors and curves) and the biggest sets are representing 32 airlines in their era! So this is not for the small of HDD space Number 2: Due to quirks in the model, and ease for the modder it is not 100% aligned as in RL. the cabin windows are a little lower (which allowed the logos to go one easier), and the curves tend to stop short of the radome. Number 3: this uses the Herc pit to be flyable. I ad it to be able to check the decals, but leave it for those that may want to use it. The pit is a piss poor match however, both with frames blocking and the higher tech than available even into the 80s for civilian birds It is meant as eye candy, not operational missions. Number 4: due to the size of things, some of the lettering is not to legible when you get close to it. Again, eye candy, its meant to be seen from the runway when taking off or on an intercept. If your that close to see "hey it really is fuzzy" you will probably collide. Besides, the thing is huge as is at teh current tga size UNSOLICTED ADVICE I am one of those that likes all encompassing mods. If you have a certain era you would rather focus on, by all means delete the other eras that you don't need. Again this thing is huge, but covers almost every user from 1959 through 1989. CREDITS aircraft model - TMF, BPAo tga, bare metal skin, ini work - daddyairplanes original game -TK test team -allenjb42, Nightshade/PR, yakarov79. they caught a huge tho buried mistake, so many thanks to you guys! Thank you for downloading this mod and i hope you enjoy Kevin Unruh (daddyairplanes) 8 April 2018 -

To be used on Florian CP-140 ONLY. These skins represent the Hi-Viz and Low-Viz schemes used by the RCAF on their CP-140's Aurora. The serial numbers in this skin pack along with planes numbers fit per the squadrons they are (or been) with. Some minor details might be different then real life CP-140 as i have not been able to change this as they were model related or decal would not show up properly. You will get the following skins in this package : 407 Squadron : Hi-Viz : Early scheme Low-Viz : Late scheme 415 Squadron : Hi-Viz : Early scheme Low-Viz : Late scheme Two installation choice : SKINS ONLY (assuming you have the Florian CP-140 already installed): Copy the FOLDERS of the current pack objects/aircraft folder in your game CP-140 aircraft folder. Copy the FOLDERS of the current pack decal folder in your game CP-140 decals folder. Open the Textureset.ini and edit the file by adding the texture.ini lines. Copy these 2 files : CP-140_Loading & CP-140_Hangar from this pack objects/aircraft folder to your game CP-140 folder. COMPLETE AIRCRAFT : Copy the CP-140 aircraft folder content to your game aircraft folder. Copy the CP-140 decals folder content to your game decals folder. Credits: Thanks to Thirdwire for creating the Strike Fighters series. Thanks to Florian for providing the wonderful complete CP-140 and the template i used to create these skins. Happy flights! SF2 IDFAF C-47 Skytrain Pak 6/10/2016 = For SF2:I (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED ) = **You =MUST= have SF2I Expansion Pack 1 to have access to the stock 3W C-47!!!.** Some small modifications, reskining/decaling of the stock 3rd Wire C-47 Skytrain/Dakota transport aircrft, as used by the Israeli Defense Force. Be advised, THIS mod is designed for use -ONLY- in your SF2:I mod's folder. The package contains 2 skins for No. 103 "Flying Elephants" squadron Skytrains: Brown/Blue camo (mid 1950s thru 1969) Late 3 Tone Camo (1969-2001) Skins are in original bmp format. The SF2 "date switch" is used, and the game will automatically switch over to the late 3-tone in 1969. The Brown/Blue will start in 1955, although research is not conslusive as to exactly when. For years predating that, they seem be in an OD/Grey type of paint job (not the NM finish the Game Engine uses). All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Serial & Modex numbers are 100% historically correct. Both skins use the same 'pool' of number decals. There are no Hangar or Loading screens, but all sounds and pilot figures are provided. Also included are the cockpit (for those that haven't made it flyable yet) updated/revamped data, avionics, and userlist inis. I've also given you my (patent-pending) "One Click Restore" main ini. As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for the install instructions. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein
