The Lockheed Martin F-4AR Phantom Eagle is a major upgrade of the McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II developed for the Argentine Air Force which entered service in 1998. The program was named Phantom Eagle in recognition of the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle , which was the source of its new avionics. Schemes of A-4AR (V) and IAI Finger (VI) I know it could be better but I still have a lot to learn. 3 pointsHey ! Someone left a wreck under this net ---------------------------------------------- Few years earlier ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And in case you wonder... yes it floats. Though a bit heavy for the float of the Rufe. Double "What-if", never happened either in real life or in game (officially...)

Just a small aesthetic update. Now all skins have embedded one their wings' textures "DO NOT STEP" warning. (The Bangladesh skin had some missing) I also updated the other YAK-130 skins (the initial launch pack) as well. Installation Just copy them all in each aicraft texture folder accordingly, overwriting the old ones. Skin pack part 1 here: -

1 pointSorry, not sure how to get rid of an accidental quote on a tablet... It's been mentioned before, but for witnesses, it would be good to be able to list artillery units, balloons, infantry, etc as well... For mine, I would like to suggest a way to dither the transition from overcast to clear skies. Both views look great, but the transition is really jarring, probably more so than cloud pop. If there could just be some gradations as you go from one to the other would really help a lot.

1 pointWhile we're I loved Crimson Skies. I do like those "what if" fantasy scenarios of the '30's. I was hoping they'd make an updated version but it seems unlikely blast it!

1 pointCongratulations, mandrews_2, here's to many more confirmed! carrick58, that's one more pass than I feel comfortable making, but I usually do it too! Yes, yes, anywhere from 3-7 per week is the prescription! You can catch up if you'd like. The hard limit at the end is 22.

1 point19 November 1917. In which, Stephen Edwards V gets back in the saddle and gets his first CONFIRMED kill As predicted, the CO sent me back up the next day (no rest for the weary). He at least let me sleep late by assigning me to an afternoon patrol. Both A and B flights were sent up to protect our airfield at Boisy-St.Martin. It was raining and I fully expected it to be a non-event; but as we approached our patrol aream 'McScotch', who was leading our flight B, spotted trouble and turned on a group of Alb DVa's. We were mixing it up with them, when another group of Albs and A flight joined party. Anyway, after finishing one Lewis drum, I reloaded and managed to turn on one of them. I let go with a long burst, saw several hits, and he went down out of control. A couple of minutes later, I did the same again and put in for two. 'Mick' said the second one pulled out near the ground; but he saw the first one go down. In total there were 6 Albs downed by 40 Sqn. It was a costly mission however. Sgts Channing and Farmer were both killed, and 5 others had put down with damaged craft. Mine even had a few holes in it.

1 pointcould ask Erik to make an archive section in the downloads section though. keeps the older stuff out there, but more for research purposes for the modders. there are several aircraft and other files that are duplicated with the newer and older releases. if nothing else it would cut down search time to put the older ones into the Jedi archives

1 pointNo worries, it's just that topic titles don't need to be in caps, that's the equivalent of shouting. You were not impolite in your following questions, so all is cool. As for the question, yes, you may get missions before January 17th. Nothing we can do about this, especially since we allow missions from August 1990 by design. You can only specify a start date and end date, nothing in between for each single month. If you don't like the date of a created mission, just go back to the single mission screen and let the game create a new one. If you want a more realistic and historically accurate experience, you should play the campaign mode instead. I'm talking about ODS 30AE, the old mod was very inaccurate in pretty much everything, campaign data included. Even if ODS 30AE surpasses the old mod in quality, we are in no position to remove the old one, it would be just wrong and not respectful to the amount of effort put in past years by other modders. There should be no confusion about which is the most recent, since you can see when each was uploaded at their respective download page.
