4 pointsActually it is not decal bleeding. It is caused by the fact that there are 2 surfaces of the same mesh facing the same direction so the game applies the decal on the given coordinates to any surface section that faces the given parameters. If the model would have "left/right intakes" separated and not just a single mesh "fuselage", then the issue would be gone. I battled the same issue on the upcoming S37 also. Splitting the mesh did solve it, so there were no double "areas". That is why moving the decal onto a location that has no secondary sections "in sight" "solved" the symptom.

3 pointsHello again fellow FE2-ers, Please find included below some of the latest developmental pics. from the Bleriot XI (6-cyl. Anzani powered). Swambast has been doing magnificent and detailed work on the 3D model. He is currently busy with other duties, and I will be taking a modding break during the summer - but we hope to collaborate further on the Bleriot XI over the next few months and eventually to get to the stage where I can apply an already-tested FM to this particular model. Will post here again in a few months once more things are completed. For the most part, the external model is now largely complete - we still need to look over and complete the rigging/warping wires for the wings, also some details regarding the wheel assembly - and to look over details for the cockpit (both for internal and external cockpit views). Then the FM-application stage will follow. Eventually, we hope to have a completed model ready, which our excellent skinners can as well have fun with once it is released. Cheers all and happy flying, Von S

2 pointsEveryone, thank you for all the supports and advice! It has been humble experiences learning about painting many specific parts and make it detailed as possible. I also learned how to align the camo by using LODViewer. That tool is definitely godsend! We owe a huge thanks to the author of LODviewer! (NOTE: I am working on imported version of IDF Mirage IIICJ for Dhimar. I am working on a big mod project with a small team. At once when I am done with the camo, I will change the decals. For now, I am happy with the camouflage. It took me a whole day to find the techniques to align the camouflage. It is indeed, a tricky work at first.

2 pointsA new Instant Action mission will be included with the next release of the ODS 30AE total conversion, complete with bonuses! Shot down a MiG-25 coming head to head, and then I shook off a pursuing MiG-29 which ultimately crashed into the terrain, trying to follow my crazy evasive maneuvers (shown in the last pic).

1 pointView File Canadair CL-13 Sabre F.Mk.5 On 30 July 1953, the first Sabre Mk.5 flew with the Orenda 10 engine, which gave it a clear rate of climb and ceiling advantage over earlier variants. Other Mk 5 improvements included a new oxygen system and improved maneuverability and low-speed characteristics achieved by increasing the wing chord by six in (15.2 cm) at the root and three in. (7.2 cm) at the wing tip along with fitting a small vertical wing fence. This modification, originated by North American on the F-86F, dramatically improved maneuverability, though the loss of the slatted leading edge increased landing speed and degraded low speed handling considerably. Canadair built 370 Mk 5s with the majority designated for use in the RCAF's Air Division squadrons in Europe to replace the Mk.2s. A total of 75 RCAF Sabre 5s were transferred to the German Luftwaffe during 1957. WHAT'S IN: - 2 new planes - 34 high rez skins - decals, sounds, weapons etc. CREDITS: - Zur model - Ravenclaw temps - paulopanz skins, decals, ini edits TO INSTALL: - all in main mod folder and overwrite Enjoy! @paulopanz PS: Canadair Sabre n°3 pack, to be continued soon. 1 pointPZL-230F 'Skorpion' - Parani Air Force, 2006 Started in the mid-1980's the PZL-230 'Skorpion Projekt' was an ambitious attempt to provide the Polish Air Force with an affordable modern attack aircraft but in 1990 the Polish Air Force cranked in further requirements for speed, range and payload leading to a heavier and ultimately more expensive aircraft. By 1991 Poland was enduring a difficult transition from a communist to a capitalist economy and the project appeared to be heading for cancellation but the management team at PZL Okęcie were convinced that a sizeable market existed for the 'Skorpion Projekt' and actively sought a partner to develop their design eventually approaching several aerospace companies in Europe, the US and former USSR but to no avail. However, in January 1992 representatives from the state-owned Parani Aviation Company (PAC - who had developed the indigenous Piranha jet fighter in the late 1950's) contacted PZL to propose a collaboration to develop and produce the Skorpion for their respective air forces and for export. At an early stage it was agreed to have two assembly lines with PZL to be responsible for all Polish orders and subsequent European exports and PAC to be responsible for all Parani orders and all exports outside of Europe. It is understood that Paran agreed to accept a higher split on development costs because of the wider export market open to them. With heavy financial backing from oil-rich Paran the design and development moved quickly and the prototype Skorpion took to the skies in October 1995 and was soon joined by the first of a pre-production batch of 8 Skorpions eventually forming a bi-service development squadron based in Paran and taking advantage of the clear skies over the Parani desert. Paran claimed priority for deliveries and formed the first Skorpion squadron in 1998 with Poland deferring deliveries for their own air force until 2001 due to financial pressures but by this time the Skorpion had become a modest export success with PZL securing exports to many of the former Soviet Union client states but with PAC only exporting a few Skorpions to Syria. 1 pointNice fix on the pedals. That aughta hold er. Took down another one of mine. This is/was the new wingman skin for Jasta 64w. There wasn't one in the Skin Pack for this Staffel.

1 pointdecal bleeding im familiar with. a normal fix for me is to throw a patch on, listed further down in the decal.ini. the C-141B in ODS has this issue, each camo skin has a patch laid on to cover up bleed from teh other side (it was only the right side bleeding to left iirc) it stands out, but not too badly if done right and certainly less so than a smearing, bleeding tga however, this is the first time i have seen the patch not work, when made more solid than the other tga and called out after the other tga. also the patch does make the offending tga neater in the affected areas ( third pic in this thread vs first ), which adds to my curiousity

1 pointWell...this thread took off! Back in the game now that the rudder pedals are fixed: So back into it with a little Karl Spieler: Being alone and low over the lines, I decided not to give pursuit. If you watch at high resolution in the 4:00-4:00 area, you can see the puffs of exhaust as he blips on the way down, very cool!

1 pointWe chose Battle of Britain because we believed we could do a better version than many of the others that have been released over time, and BoF is such a short period, so not great to get a career mode going. Loved doing it and really loved making the Hurri and Spitfire. Now we are taking a little break at the moment, then will see where we are...

1 pointIndeed Catch I think before 1930s there was no sound in the world - except from church organs.

1 pointi reject your skin and substitute my own as said in the post at the top of this page, doing it abit different (closer but not exact to 3W layout). plus my HANG tail marks are scratch ish made, "HAWAII being typed out and the other marks traced over a blown up decal image (couldnt find one sharp enough to use on its own)
