Hey all, been a long time since I’ve posted here. Haven’t had a PC in a number of years so haven’t been involved for a while. I still about once a month or so check the SF2 sections and see what’s being talked about and what amazing new mods are still being made. Anyway, just seeing if anyone else is in the “just lurking” category. I don’t think I’ll ever leave this community until it completely doesn’t exist anymore. Ya’ll are pretty amazing.

Here's a sound showoff for the In-cockpit sound I'm introducing for the Super Hornets/Growler. And a fix for the drop tank texture for the VFA-211 Line jet. Apparently I uploaded the wrong and was using the wrong texture on the drop tanks: VFA-211 Line.7z

Geezer RFC-RAF pilots for FE 2 This is a pack of new textures focused on pilots that Geezer released years ago. The content can be used with First Eagles 2. This pack presents some RFC-RAF Aces and there is also a group of generic pilots that you will be able to use in airplanes that you wish. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ You will find several options for different scarf colors and a RFC-RAF uniform at your choice. I choosed the Geezer's "wwiPilotNew5" and "wwiPilotNew1" as base to my faces paint job, due that this is the only pilots where is possible painting different faces without the moustache. So I renamed the "wwiPilotNew1", "wwiPilotNew2", "wwiPilotNew3", "wwiPilotNew4", "wwiPilotNew5", "wwiPilotNew7" and wwiPilotNew8 with the historical pilots names (ex: Albert Ball) or generic names such as RFC-RAF PILOT1 for instance. Each Ace or generic pilot will be in aproppiate folder to avoid any incompatibility with the Geezer pilots if you had one of them intalled in your "pilots" folder. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ** What you will find in this RFC-RAF pilots skin Pack: - 7 RFC-RAF Aces: - Albert Ball (Geezer wwiPilotNew5) - Arthur Rhys-Davids (Geezer wwiPilotNew5) - Cecil Arthur Lewis (Geezer wwiPilotNew5) - Edward Mannock (Geezer wwiPilotNew5) - James McCudden (Geezer wwiPilotNew5) - Lanoe Hawker (Geezer wwiPilotNew5) - William Barker (Geezer wwiPilotNew5) - 1 Knowed pilot without the Ace status: - Alan Bishop Jarvis (Geezer wwiPilotNew5) - 7 RFC-RAF pilots with a generic face and several options for different scarf colors and a RFC-RAF uniform at your choice. - RFC-RAF PILOT1 (Geezer wwiPilotNew5) - RFC-RAF PILOT2 (Geezer wwiPilotNew1) - RFC-RAF PILOT3 (Geezer wwiPilotNew2) - RFC-RAF PILOT4 (Geezer wwiPilotNew3) - RFC-RAF PILOT5 (Geezer wwiPilotNew4) - RFC-RAF PILOT6 (Geezer wwiPilotNew8) - RFC-RAF PILOT7 (Geezer wwiPilotNew7) - 7 RFC-RAF pilots: James McCudden, Lanoe Hawker, Albert Ball, Arthur Rhys-Davids, Cecil Arthur Lewis, Alan Bishop Jarvis and Edward Mannock, using a British long leather coat (Geezer wwiPilotNew1). - wwiPilotNew15 - James McCudden - (Geezer wwiPilotNew1) - wwiPilotNew17 - Lanoe Hawker - (Geezer wwiPilotNew1) - wwiPilotNew19 - Albert Ball - (Geezer wwiPilotNew1) - wwiPilotNew26 - Arthur Rhys-Davids - (Geezer wwiPilotNew1) - wwiPilotNew29 - Cecil Arthur Lewis - (Geezer wwiPilotNew1) - wwiPilotNew30 - Alan Bishop Jarvis - (Geezer wwiPilotNew1) - wwiPilotNew35 - Edward Mannock - (Geezer wwiPilotNew1) __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: FE2 INSTALLATION - Drop or copy the inside contend of the folder "RFC-RAF PILOTS" to your "Pilots" folder. *ATTENTION* In order to work properly in your aircraft data.ini Inside the pack, there is a (RFC-RAF PILOTS INSTALLATION README) with installation instructions for the majority of British & French aircrafts (aircraft data.ini) around. nstallation of the Sentraedi Fighter SU-27K: The installation procedure is quite normal, FACILITY: This SU-27K (SU-33) package is for an SF2 installation. Simply copy and paste the items from the included folders into the corresponding folders contained in your Saved Games > ThirdWire folder GRADES: This is a primitive version of the SU-27K Flanker airborne heavy fighter, it is not optimized for ground attacks but can carry a lot of bombs and rockets the model is a SU-35 casing that we once worked with ALEDUCAT and it was never finished, the controls were optimized for vector thrust so it doesn't move some ailerons, today I finished it as a Sukhoi 27k to share it. Create a set of classic double rockets for this model. the chosen cabin is the one created by YEYEYE, the original readme file is added. The missiles that I chose are from a pack of weapons, I don't know who created them but it is appreciated. Hope you enjoy. By pressing the corresponding vectoring keys (vertical thrust) the plane becomes unstable like the SU-57 model, being able to perform the Cobra maneuver. I had planned to create the characters of the series but unfortunately every day it becomes more difficult for me to finish projects to be able to share them with you, it would be of great help if you followed me on my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@arielmelo9789/videos I could justify the time invested in my ex-wife hahahaha.

F-5E - The F-5 was also adopted as an opposing forces (OPFOR) "aggressor" for dissimilar training role because of its small size and performance similarities to the Soviet MiG-21. The F-5E served with the US Air Force from 1975 until 1990, in the 64th Aggressor Squadron and 65th Aggressor Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, and with the 527th Aggressor Squadron at RAF Alconbury in the UK and the 26th Aggressor Squadron at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. F-5N - Ex-Swiss Air Force F-5Es used by the US Navy as an "aggressor" aircraft, with AN/APG-69 replacing the original AN/APQ-159. Intended to replace high-time USN/USMC F-5Es in the adversary role, and saw service through 2015. WHAT'S IN: F-5E USAF 65th Aggressor Squadron (4 skins and decals) F-5N USN VFC-111 "Sun Downers" (4 skins and decals) CREDITS: - A-TEAM/Capun: model - Pappychecksix: Blank Skins - paulopanz: decals, screens etc. INSTALL: - (*) you need F-5E-R0c.LOD file from A-TEAM model fix forum (this is the debugged lod) - put it inside F-5 AGG and F-5N folder NOTE: - canopy open 10 key - as I hate textures with serials painted on, I have to thank very much the great Pete, who made these great blank skins I could use to add historical serial numbers and codes. Let's make more aggressor squadrons skins Pappy! Hurry on. Enjoy Paolo & Pete

Small package of cockpit improvements for Su-7/17 ------- Su-7: cockpit by Stary - fixed misspelling and typos on labels, converted files to reduce size, fixed flaps/airbrake indicators, pilot's POV - nothing too drastic -------------- Su-17 - original cockpit for Su-17 looks old (judging by the files, it was made in 2003), here possible replacements: First gen Su-17s (Su-17, Su-17M (Su-20), Su-17M1 (Su-22)) get aforementioned Su-7 pit. It fits fine considering the time period. Second gen Su-17s (Su-17M3 (Su-22M, Su-22M3), Su-17M4 (Su-22M4)) get pit from Su-25. While not a fully accurate replacement, pits of those two jets do share a lot of similarities. Su-25K pit adapted for Su-17: - changed airspeed and Mach indicators - correct weapon stations indicators Also fixed a couple of other problems: - original fuel indicator doesn't work - missing nodes; adapted former second engine exhaust temp indicator to show fuel quantity - it is in the lower right corner - altimeter missing hand for thousands (Soviet altimeters have two hands - one for hundreds, other for thousands) - just changed the single hand to show both with adapted altimeter texture ----------- Installation: remove old cockpit folder, cockpit_ and avionics_ files; drop in new files. new cockpit_ and avionics_ inis should be renamed accordingly to work properly ---------- Su-25K cockpit is taken from here: https://combatace.com/files/file/17601-su-25_frogfoot/

76th TFS 75th TFS (with the checker you remember) and to round out 74th TFS you are right about the base though. they kept similar schemes through the A-10 years. 76th deactivated until a couple years back, the 74th stayed same until they traded Vipers back for Hogs, and the 75th has only gained a "75th" title in the checkers, otherwise staying the same through the years

Since VAQ-129 is the US Navy's Fleet Replacement Squadron there are a variety of numbers that the aircraft uses. I tried to get most of them listed but I'm sure I missed some here and there given the state of my reference photos and resources. It's not designed to be exhaustive, but include the numbers I have seen The file structure is the same so just unzip and place in your mod folder and it shouldn't need to overwrite.

Hello my dear friends, I have been away for the last month and didn't really spend much time on my computer. My brother passed away last week due to kidney failure, we had to amputate his leg due to gangerine and five days later he passed. I might not be on for a while more as I need some more time to recover, I hope you all take care in the mean time, I hope to be back soon.
