anyone like those scenes in the movies, where the hero walks slowly away, puttin on sunglasses, as the stuff behind them blows up?

I’m guessing that’s because I increased the security settings on some of them to preserve the mystery before posting in the screenshot threads. I'll review and update them. Thanks for visiting the galleries anyway Eric. The exit is through the gift shop!

The "Gefecht der verbundenen Waffen" (combined arms) was a military tactic, which was developed by the germans in the 1930th. During the Cold War both german Armies were masters of this kind of warfare. Here a short trailer from an east german military movie, which shows the NVA, the East German Army in action:

Oh weird, I'm glad you let us know. It's been up for so long, so it never worked so far? BTW, the hotfix is only for those few users who downloaded all four parts of the mod's ISO between January 17th and January 20th 2024. If you got the ISO parts after that date, you don't need the hotfix. @Erik This hotfix was uploaded as an attachment in ODS30AE's "What's New" section. Could you have a look and see what's wrong? Thanks in advance.

This is total pack of Shahak Dassault Mirage III and its versions used by Israeli Air Force. Pack contains all required models and it is based on regular TW model and available mods on Combat Ace. Be aware that this pack after unpacking is around 1GB big. All skins are based on templates by ludo.m54 => http://combatace.com/files/file/13128-mirage-iiic-dlc-templates/ Ive rearanged camo paints and made different versions for different squadrons etc. Ive also edited ini files mostly in weapon stations to seperate bomb stations from IRM, FT etc. Also i did some limits i weight for recon versions. There are few versions of Mirage III used by Israeli Air Force. As on original TW models it is divided into '62 and '71 versions with different engines. All mods (two seaters and recon) are based on denisoliveira models. Ive renamed all required folder /fake pilots/ mods to avoid causing problems with older versions. You need fake pilot mod to run some of the parts from this pack. To run this mod you need also access to TW lod files from SF2:I (lods and cockpits for shahak and nesher) Generaly full merged instal of SF2 family is recomended. All canopies can be open by Shift+1 animation key. Aircrafts in this pack: Shahak BJ Two seater version deliverd in 1966 and 1968 with serials 86,87,88,89. Shahak BJ '66 two seater version with Atar 9B engine Shahak BJ '71 two seater version with Atar 9C engine Shahak IIICJ 70 fighter jets delivered between 1962-1964 serials (01-85 not obligingly in sequel) Shahak CJ '66 single seat fighter with Atar 9B engine Shahak CJ '71 single seat fighter with Atar 9C engine and recon versions: Tashbetz. Two recon aircraft delivered with serial numbers 98 and 99. Those aircrafts carried also other camera noses in future. Shahak Tashbetz '64 recon version with HYCON HR-231 Oblique Camera Shahak Tashbetz '71 same as above but with upgraded Atar9C engine. Tarmil. Two fighter aicrafts converted in 1964 to recon role (serial 53 and 85) equipped with Zeiss RMK-15/23 Vertical Camera. Later also Tashbetz 98 and 99 could carry those noses. Tarmil '64 one version with Atar9B engine Moshel. One IIICJ fighter jet serial 59 (one of the two top scorers amid Shahks) converted to recon role by adding new nose with low-alt panoramic camera. Equipped with Atar9C engine. Tsniut. One IIICJ fighter jet serial number 58 (2nd top scorer) and recon aircraft (98) converted into special high alt recon aircraft with Tsniut nose equipped with LOROP camera. Also with Atar9C engine. I didnt follow other reco aircraft serial no 41 because I have no photo reference. There were also two other noses used by IAF by unfortunately ther is no mod to cover this...hope Denis will do it one day. All skins are done by me in 2048x2048 format based on templates by ludo.m54 numbers.lst and some of the decals are based on wilco pack => http://combatace.com/files/file/10786-mirage-iiicj-shahak-for-sf2i/ Credits: single seaters: Ive made decals for early versions covering years 62-69. All Shahaks carried two digits numbers. But it also carried three digit numbers in some time of service so based on photos and documents ive made few covering those years (events) All decals for camo versions are from wilco pack => http://combatace.com/files/file/10786-mirage-iiicj-shahak-for-sf2i/ Two seater versions: Based on original pack by denissoliveira => http://combatace.com/files/file/15494-mirage-iiibj/ decals by Coupi (some edited into 3digits by me) 3d mods - denissoliveira nose skins in 2048x2048 format yakarov79 data.ini Coupi and small fixes by me. Recon versions: based on pack by paulopanz => http://combatace.com/files/file/15132-mirage-iiirj-iiicj-recon-converted/ decals by paulopanz some by me. 3d mods - denissoliveira nose skins in 2048x2048 format yakarov79 National and squadron markings as always in my case are painted on skins. Kills decals. Ive mede new decals sets covering kills due to aircraft / squadron / year. Not all of them are 100% acurate but i was trying to do my best. For sure kills needs some updates in the future. Also if user needs can change real kills markings to standard TW type of kills which will be based on actual player score. You have to edit decal.ini file by removing specific lines. Also required lines for different kills are already there. Effect files are added. Aircrafts are using standard TW weapons. Ive added few recon pods "camera noses" for recon versions it uses tga files from ravenclaw's Phanoms pack. Ive also used standard sound files that everyone should have at this point (year 2017). report bugs. Hope you will like it. Enjoy Jarek Hereda

@Menrva The ODS30AE's file description has a hard link set to an attachment in your "attachments". Since the people clicking on that link are not you there's a credentials problem. Other people can't see, download, or use attachments that belong to you. My suggestion is to attach that file somewhere public like a forum post then it would be available, or you could add the hotfix into the downloads which is the best solution.

It was mostly one sided in real life as well, polish made some interesting tactics to overcome that, like flying patrols at higher altitudes to use diving speeds to catch bombers. Or try to exploit at maximum the maneuvrability of the PZL.11 against the enemy fighters. But If you feel that the PZL.11 is outdated try to attack a nazi column with a PZL.23.

The promised update is available now. At least; the city tiles are now added. I did not get to the river tiles, because the Falcon 4 terrain conversion took too much time already. The default install still retains only the stock IcelandNA targets. So to have populated harbors and some other tweaks, refer to the standalone variant files, as found in the 'standalone' subfolder. The Terrain Objects .tod file tuning was also brought over to the Novalogic terrain conversions, so these are also slightly updated now.

Upload no.11 The height-map is now upscaled to 4x the tile-map size. The main reason is that the Strike Fighters engine seems to run better with this change, for some reasons I don't know... It gives better frame-rate and has visually better horizon terrain buildup. So the _Data ini settings from the first post do no longer apply. It was not easy to upscale the height-map in a way that retains sharpness in the mountain- and ridge-tops. Had to program a custom upscale in TFDtool, then blend it with some filtered variants. It should be good now. Added some target-area's in the hills and at the DMZ. This is where the terrain looks best. The DMZ is not quite so demilitarized now. There are around 40 .tod terrain objects now. Solely for the full city tiles. Tailor-made to fit these. Then the usual tile-map and tile-texture adjustments.

I'm still on TOD object placement. The major job is done. Only the islands of Alderney and Hern are left. Two of six Alderney tiles are already populated with TOD objects. So it looks at the moment: At the moment this tiles are still jpg. I must convert them to tga, to make them to water tiles. I hope, that i can finish this terrain till Easter.

This is the newest version of the LODViewer. New features: -decal support -display of collision and pivot points -added transparency and wireframe display mode -user definable background color -view manipulation via keyboard -64 bit application -uses the OpenSceneGraph library and Qt 5.9.5 Install instructions: Extract the content of the zip package to a convenient location. The LODViewer depends on the Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 C++ libraries. If not already installed on the computer (e.g. by other applications) it has to be installed by running vcredist_x64.exe (you can find it in the redist subfolder of this package). Have fun! And report bugs Mue

Cessna O-1E BirdDog Pak -for 3rdWire O-1E- = For SF2, Any and All = Please Note: this is =NOT= a full aircraft mod. The LOD files are =NOT= included, as they are propritery of 3rdWire, and cannot be shared. So ... you =MUST= have one of the original 1stGen games - SFP1, WoV or WoE to extract the 4 needed LOD files from their Objects.cat. Instructions are in the 'To Install' section. = This is a major overhaul of the stock, 1stGen O-1E BirdDog with a new, functioning cockpit, 4 skins and all new historically accurate serial numbers (albeit generic in nature, representing no particular unit; even the Canadian ones) The skins are: RCAF/CF CO-119 by ext (iirc) OD Green by ??? USAF white (stock) Pakistani Army Green (based on above, from Indo/Pak mod) The RCAF/CF skin has all new decals, matching those used by Canada (*please seen "Notes" below for more on the CF serials*). The OD Green skin from ?? has the "US Army" tag remade new, replacing that from my ancient L-19 mod, that was in the wrong font. The USAF skin uses stock decals, as it has always done (F-100 serials). Basically, other than stock National Insigia (and serials on the USAFWhite), all decals are new. The cockpit is based off Kesselbrut's Yak-3 pit, HEAVILY modified to fit the O-1, with gauges repainted and converted/recalibrated to US standard (knots & feet). Some gauges do not work properly, but this is the closest we have (or more truthfully, the best I could find). Lots of moves and other tweeks to both the data and cockpit ini make it fit like it kinda sorta shoulda. Decal randomization is set to TRUE, so be at least at whichever patch level gave that to us. The aircraft uses stock HVARs, but for fun I've included the M-60 underwing machine gun. So you can shoot stuff up. A revamped version of the 7.62mm M-60 gun is also included. A new Userlist.ini is supplied, with most of the Dog's users. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them -CAREFULLY-!! .... Also, see the "Notes" section for Vitally Important Information ™. Seriously ... you NEED to read it. In fact, after unzipping, you might want to read this document through before installing. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein
