6 pointsOver the orchards of New Dhimar. [very time consuming todding these tiles] Also checking out a few of gkabs mountain models. They work quite well along rugged coastlines. I used the low res textures from my mountain tiles, changed to jpeg's.

2 pointsPhilippine OV-10D encounters ground resupply moving toward a heavily guarded area but is run off before the reconnaissance mission is complete. Bad weather hampers the recon effort as well. A week later on a clear day an MQ-9 takes off from an undisclosed location in the southern Philippines My oh my,,,what is that below

2 pointsI am playing an SF2V Mig-21PFV campaign. I try to play it "realistically", that is to say with a pair of Mig-21 ambushing the Yankee Air Pirates. No gun, 1 Fuel Tank and 2 AA-2A, fly low: Given the limits of the AA-2A, only surprise bounces are possible and most of my missions are unsuccessfull. In the below case, I tried to ambush a RA5C, he spotted me and flew away: I did not even bother trying to puruse them and went back home, to avoid the escort

1 pointWith the recent change in political climate in Brazil, if the USAF wants use of the Boa Vista or Manaus Air Force base they'll likely have them. That said, Columbia is by far the more ideal location, with both Barranquilla and Marandúa Air Force bases being much closer and strategically located to Venezuela's largest cities and military bases. The Brazilian bases would require 1 or more refuelings and if I recall the geography correctly, for some air craft that would involve refueling in Venezueluan air space. Leveraging bases in Columbia would most likely be a bigger political challenge though.

1 pointNice. It is the widely used version BTR-60PB. The basic version BTR-60P had had no turret. Here a part of an east german military movie, which shows BTR-60PB in normal military use. Its from 1976, the soundtrack is typical 70th annoyingly.

1 pointMore stuff: "The first North African Campaign was a very interesting one for several reasons. North Africa was Italy’s main front in what was later called the “Parallel War”, i.e. the period during which Italy tried to fight the Commonwealth autonomously, without the help of the German Armed Forces, and thus a period during which achievements and defeats were due only to Italian merits or mistakes. This period is one of the very few where historians can try to assess the real effectiveness of the Italian war effort, without being confused by the presence of German forces, and this is obviously true also in the field of air warfare. With the Battle of Britain absorbing practically all the best resources, the Commonwealth forces on the North African front had to rely mostly on second line machines, sometimes already put out of service at home. This, together with the Italian trust in the biplane formula, meant that the Western Desert was (together with Greece and East Africa) the last battlefield in the history of air warfare where biplanes confronted each other. Needless to say, pilots of these archaic aircraft were by no means inferior in determination or skill to their colleagues fighting in Spitfires or Messerschmitts over the English Channel. Many of the most important Italian and Commonwealth pilots of the conflict drew first blood during this campaign, notably amongst them the top Italian and RAF aces of WW II, Teresio Martinoli and Thomas Pattle." Gustavsson, Hakan. Desert Prelude: Early Clashes. Erwin Rommel, the Desert Fox, knew a thing or two about armies. He described the Italian army as "good soldiers, bad officers." 1940 drew to a close with the Italians having suffered disastrous losses, prompting the Germans to send a couple of mobile divisions to prop up the Italian survivors. The spring of 1941 ushered in a new phase in the desert war, one that most buffs are familiar with. But it all began with CR42s dueling with Gladiators over the Libyan/Egyptian border in 1940.....

1 pointI received the files and fixed the synching issues with the GR.1 distance lods. They all work fine now. :) Though I started to put in a few more low-poly parts for wings, droptanks and ordnance, as to make this plane a tad more framerate friendly around busy airfields.
-
1 pointGuuruu, thanks for making this beautiful aircraft. Especially appreciate the effort to include distance lods in an effort to retain some acceptable framerate, possibly even when a dozen or so are visible on the airfield. However, there is a bug that prevents most of the distance lods from working. I suspect this is caused by the 2,07 MB lod containing nodes that the preceeding 3,17 MB lod does not have. Comparing things with the lod viewer: I count 15 such nodes to be exact. The game only accepts distance lods with equal or less nodes then the parenting lod. Currently the game ignores the last three distance lods entirely. Edit: Removing the 2,07 MB lod does not fix the situation. If you need help with distance lods I am willing to assist with that job, though I am merely an amateur in 3DS max.

1 pointWell, I brought it up against a Flanker (AI) and it went a lot better than expected. Of course, a human player would be completely different, but I'm at least building some confidence with my handling!

0 pointswell it's not about skill than it's to have space allowed to drag and drop the photos. When I try that it says that i have 64,6kb allowed only. I ASK AGAIN a moderator to solve this issue , please! Or at least give me a solution to be able to publish the photos here, without going to other website etc
