    P-15 and P-19 radar objects for SF2 series game. This is mostly eye candy stuff. Just to improve the visual side of the game. Pack contains early P-15 Tropa on Zil-157 bed and late P-15 Flat Face P-15M2 Squat Eye and P-19 Dunay on Zil-131 chassis. In this pack, you will find new objects. But no worries nothing needs to be overwritten. Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) Mostly this mod is for modders, terrain builders. As some radar settings need to be adjusted for proper working with your installs. Radar family/network type needs to be adjusted and associated with your other SAM objects. Also, placement on terrains might be strange sometimes because of construction of the lod. Userlist ini is very generic and not really 100% accurate. All ini files are beta....mostly to make the object working - rotate radar mast, bend etc. All stations are set as EW radar and are connected to SA-3 radar network I'm hoping someone will do correct ini edits. Only if there are still some modders around here..... So do not complain if something is not working- just edit your way. You have working lod and skins... Basic skins green and tan. All skins are in jpg format. Tga in 1024x1024. So you have to resize for your own preferred size.     There's none available. The one in the YouTube videos is an illegally converted 3d model asset from Ace Combat Assault Horizon, AFAIK. We do not allow such material to be posted in the downloads section. So, you'd better wait for russouk2004 model to be completed. He knows his stuff!

    One does not put the full filename here. But the postfix. For the above object that would be: DamagedPostFix=_damage.dds The games uses this bit in combination with the normal texture names, to get the different file names.

    Dear Friends, After the recent release of the update 3.102 many of you wondered "why there are no new Bodenplatte planes"? There is nothing strange about it: the remaining three player-controllable fighters and AI-controlled bomber are the most complex and difficult to produce objects in the entire history of our team. But the more difficult is the task the more interesting is the result. At the moment we plan to make all these four planes available to you in the next huge update at the end of September that will also bring the important new features we're working on at the moment. Here's the rundown on their current statuses: P-51D-15: cockpit texturing and flight model is in development. P-38J-25: cockpit texturing is nearly finished, the flight model is finished, it will go to beta testing soon. Tempest Mk.V ser.2: 3D model is finished, the flight model is nearly finished, it will go to beta testing soon as well. B-25D (Mitchell II): 3D model is finished, we’re working on the last bits of texturing and turret animations, the flight model is in development. The work on the Rhineland map for Bodenplatte is also progressing well and we'll show you some of it in one of the coming DDs. We're working on the new Career timeframe 'Battle of Rhineland' in parallel. Now let's list the features that are at the final stage of development at the moment: Switch to the newer F-MOD API version which we hope will fix the disappearing sounds issue right away or in the near future. An advanced model of pilot physiology that includes complex fatigue modeling that takes into account G-overload fatigue, overload frequency, alternation of positive and negative overloads, wounds, having a G-suit, lack of oxygen and oxygen supply system. The model will also simulate a loss of consciousness and ability to control an aircraft after experiencing too sharp or too severe overloads. The algorithms it is using are based on the research of various institutes. The introduction of this model is likely to change the flow of air combat, especially in multiplayer. However, those who find it too difficult and unfamiliar will be able to switch it off as realism option (it will also be a server setting). Air Marshal mode that is being developed especially for multiplayer will also enter the testing stage soon. When this happens, we'll dedicate a special DD to it. Improved AI maneuvering in a dogfight. Our new programmer is working on this (the recent formation keeping improvements are his work), but remember there is still a long way to go in this area. Improved visibility distance of planes and ships. The main difficulty in the development of this feature was making the dynamic objects show at great distances without a steady stream of data reporting their position and orientation. Another important thing is to model the lighting of the airplane even at long range - we discarded the idea of having just black dots at these distances, where the visibility of an object is determined by the position of the sun, brightness and hue of the sky, haze, etc. All this is impossible to model having only a black dot. The distant planes flying at high altitudes will have contrails and ships will have visible wakes. It is also important to have more or less equal terms for owners of different monitors. Having completed all these tasks, we'll increase the maximum visibility distance for planes and ships from 10 to 100 km and the resulting visibility distance will realistically correspond to the lighting and weather conditions. As you can see, the Bodenplatte project is at the final stage and nearing release. Numerous changes and additions to be seen in the final version are more or less close to being finished. Therefore, the update 3.102 included the content that was ready and a minimal amount of changes - at the final stage nothing should divert the team from the main target.     I just completed the civilian airport, I changed it completely as I didn't like the way it looked. so this is how it is going to look next I need to work on the terminal and the mics for the airport.

    This segment is all about the AH-1w Super Cobra. The AH-1w Super Cobra was introduced to service in 1986 and is being replaced by the AH-1z Viper or "Zulu Cobra" the difference with the Zulu Cobra is that it features 4 rotor blades and the Target Sighting System or TSS.     Proposed F-4E(F) Air Superiority Fighter (Luftwaffe) addon for the F-4F Pack by ravenclaw_007 and team. Based on the official McDonnell Douglas report/ sales pitch dated September 1970 detailing the specifications for the proposed F-4E(F) Air Superiority Fighter for the West German Luftwaffe: Included: - F-4E(F) Gameplay notes: - Due to its lower empty weight this aircraft is slightly faster, more maneuverable, has quicker acceleration and a lower stalling speed than a standard statted or hard wing F-4E. - It has a slightly lower (according to McDonnell's specifications,) stalling speed than the F-4F. - The radar (APG-120) is the same model as on the F-8E Crusader so has a lower performance than the radar on the F-4E/F with no AIM-7 capability. Cockpit radar display and radar range lights have been changed match the APG-120 radar. - Rear cockpit is empty with no WSO or controls etc. If you read the McDonnell report the ability to fit the cockpit controls, displays and ejection seat was to be retained if required. So the glass would not have been faired over etc. Animation / Function - Canopy - Hook - Gun Vent ______________ automatic when gun is fired or as soon as the landing gear is deployed - Brake Chute____________ works with the Air Brake below 150kts NOTE: You MUST have the F-4F pack installed for this to work: Hangar and Loading screens are in 1920 x 1080 Installation: - Drop all files into your mod folder the way they are setup in this pack and overwrite if ask to - If you are unsure about the way how mods are installed, check the knowledge base at CombatAce!     I forgot to post this here the other day, so please forgive me my friends!! I started a new screenshot thread in the SF2 screen shot forum for folks to recreate scenes from various aviation themed movies. I cordially invite all my brothers (and any sisters!) from The Great War to join us in recreating such scenes.     I assume you're talking about the LHA that comes stock is SF2NA? If so, you need this mod for the game to treat it like a carrier. Checkout the readme for install instructions and limitations.

    @warthog64 Thank you for the kind words. That terrain had been in development for years, after periods of hiatus due to RL issues and so on. It was built to be used in a future ODS update, with numerous features, realistic river, farm and city placement that were missing in the original terrain. As for the help, I am actually waiting for additional aircraft updates (some amazing Mirages are still in the works!) and eventually some new ground objects as well. Nothing prevents me to actually update the old ODS campaign to be used with my terrain, but we want to upgrade it with better aircraft and objects as well. Check your PM.

    Just thought I'd update this thread. The ODS mod would be perfect if it included Menrva's terrain. Everything is great about the latest mod, especially since the latest aircraft and ship updates over the last few years. The newest terrain by Menrva is really all that is still needed. (more Iraqi naval action would be perfect too of course, but that's not too difficult to add by the novice player). I am no expert but if there's anything I can help with Menrva in order to get your terrain applicable with the latest mod please PM me. I still love SF2 over all the other sims (DCS has better graphics but that's about the only advantage) and have been playing it since I was 13. An updated ODS campaign would really make this game one of the best, even in 2019! Thanks everyone!

    On Friday morning, 19 July 1957, a USAF F-89J serial number 53-2547 under Project Plumbbob, launched a Genie MB-1 unguided rocket at an altitude 18500 feet over NTS Area 10. After reaching Mach 3 and traveling 4250 meters in 4.5 seconds its W-25 warhead was detonated by a signal from a ground station. The resulting explosive yield was 1.7 kilotons.
