The RAAF implemented a policy of either historical nose arts on its B-1 fleet or of native wildlife, with a preference to birds. oddly, until 2011 A55-058 never recieved a nose art. that was until the Chitose Airshow of 2011. while on a stop at Kadena, the crew chiefs took the oppurtunity to add artwork from a popular Canadian cartoon , with a twist. The PM of Japan loved it soo much that he gushed over it during a televised meeting with the Australian PM. while the noseart violated official guidance on the bomber artwork, this high level approval meant it was mostly left alone. the title was removed in hopes of not angering the Hasbro executives. but that was how the blank bomber became Rainbow Dash

los destructores Sumner ya están en el stock de la saga, y el crucero Belgrano fue creado hace tiempo, su actuación en el simulador no es tan relevante, pero si un portaaviones nuevo y mas detallado

Hello everybody, The weather in Moscow isn't really fitting for April, but these times it doesn't make a big difference; we're continuing the work on the project. The 4.005 beta testing is nearly finished, and soon you'll see by yourself what all the latest DDs were about. So today we'll tell you a bit about the current work that will yield more distant results. We have mentioned before that we're working on moving the graphics engine to Deferred rendering and now this process gives good results. The main goal in implementing this renderer is to open new visual possibilities while keeping the current level of performance and not making it worse. Till the recent time, we could only hope that having both options is possible at all, while our Lead Programmer Sergey Vorsin was working confidently and his task is nearly finished. We have managed to keep the general level of performance during this transition intact and we already can show you one of the possibilities this technology opens for our sim. The first visual bonus that comes from Deferred Shading is the dramatic improvement of the quality of the reflections on various surfaces. While the existing reflection system was progressive for its time, today the standards are upped. For instance, its issues include too much bloom in reflections from various aircraft surfaces, the lack of diffusion of the reflections - they should be softer and more natural-looking. The new tech makes this possible, resulting in more realistic visuals. Here are a couple of screenshots showing this: But the improvements are not limited to the existing reflections on the external model of an aircraft. Now a feature that was requested by the community for a long time becomes technically possible - reflections in the canopy and instrument glass. In other games this effect is imitated using a prepared or generated texture which is rendered on the glass surfaces without following the laws of optics - this technique gives a cool wow-effect for a couple of times, but it quickly becomes annoying when you realize it is fake. Deferred Shading allows us to create complex and optically correct reflections in the cockpit. They depend on the external lighting and environment of course, the camera position in the cockpit and other factors. It's clear that the best way to show you this new effect would be a video, but it will be ready later - we're still working on this new reflection effect. Today we can show you a couple of screenshots that demonstrate this effect in general though: The work on the new pilot models we announced earlier for Battle of Moscow, Battle of Stalingrad and Battle of Kuban continues as well. Earlier we published the WIP images of the new Soviet pilot in Summer uniform without textures that weren't ready, but now we have the completed models both in Summer and Winter uniforms and for early and late war timeframes as well. At the moment we're working on the animations for the new models for all Soviet aircraft in the project - and started the work on the new German pilot model of the early war. To finish today's Dev Blog we want to present you the new work of =HH=Pauk, this time he created the new promo video for Flying Circus. We think the author has managed to the feel of the last knights' epoch perfectly, highlighting the project potential. Enjoy:

You'd figure that much.. it's not worth getting sick over a movie, unless they give you the full experience and driving a Hornet yourself 😂

aint nothing too it! (from the guy that invented the audio=only RWR 'way in the 2000s.) extract the avionics ini fro the Nesher from whatever cat it's in. Also, extract the data ini -- it'll need updating too. place both in the Nesher's aircraft folder open the avionics ini, and add the following lines: [RWR] Type=AUDIO_ONLY TrackSound=RWRTrackSound.wav LockSound=RWRLockSound.wav [RWRTrackSound] Priority=HIGH 3DSound=FALSE Looped=TRUE NumBuffers=1 [RWRLockSound] Priority=HIGH 3DSound=FALSE Looped=TRUE NumBuffers=1 save, and close open the Nesher's data ini, and in the DetectSystem section ---> [DetectSystem] Name= RadarType=RANGING VisualBlindArc=5,6,7 VisualRestrictedArc=4L,8L MaxVisibleDistance=7200.0 HasRWR=FALSE change the FALSE to TRUE. this will give you the beeps! (no direction, but it'll tell you when something is looking at you, and when they shoot)

I had all those cockpits beat way back in 2008. The combination "Entertainment Console" had it all but took up too much space so I had to downsize. It's much more modest now.

I've been busy since 7 PM trying to upload a Skype recording of a transit board meeting with extensive discussion about Covid19. One transit operator has passed on, another is in the hospital, and some more are infected. The logistics of shutting down the transit and dealing with boarding beyond social distancing were discussed, it's that bad. Oh and when you record a meeting on the phone, make sure the microphone is NOT recording otherwise you'll have not just echo but also the sound of typing in the background. Otherwise, expect to spend hours going thru Audacity and other programs to correct the error. Only now is the YouTube uploading and it's 2:15 AM here on the West Coast - well over an hour past my bedtime. Sigh.

So true, the lockdown will necessarily have to be prolonged. And as you say, Lombardy mismanaged the situation with swabs. The outbreak is not under control over there. It's scary to think that number of deaths are even much higher than the ones reported, for the reasons you explained. Here in the Marche region we're rather stable. We have deaths and new cases every day, but the rate is slow, fortunately. What's even worse in Lombardy, a lot of doctors died. They don't have the means to protect themselves, and are doing the impossible to save lives. I consider myself lucky to be at home. They are not, and are putting their lives on the line for the health of others. Hang in there and stay safe!
