6 pointsRight now I'm thinking about which project to start next. I have 4 in mind. 1) Poland 2) Borderwar between China and Vietnam in 1979 3) version of Battle of Britain terrain for the 1960th or 70th 4) Diego Garcia Poland is an area with a lot of possible scenarios. World War 2 in 1939 and 1945, a possible Warsaw Pact invasion in 1981, a modern Suwalki Gap scenario, or a hypotetical what if the former german province Ostpreussen would have become the homestate of the jews: Israel in Central Europe. China and Vietnam Borderwar is an interesting scenario, because both sides have similar planes and weapons, so that only the skill of the player decides of an outcome of an air battle. I like the idea very much. "Modern" Battle of Britain terrain has two major possible scenarios. One: The Soviets have taken control over France and UK is in the same situation as 1940, but with other enemy. Two: A conflict between the European Community and UK, a scenario with its own flair, because blue vs blue and to be honest true friends the Brits and the French never were. Diego Garcia. Its an other naval map with one base on an island and carrier operations.

4 pointsThe Battle of France that began on May 10th, 1940 gave Shah Mushani of Paran the perfect opportunity to invade the Kingdom of Dhimar without interference from France and the United Kingdom who were now massively distracted by the war on the western front. Despite this distraction, Shah Mushani waited until the Italian invasion of France on June 10th to launch an all-out attack on Dhimar led by his trusted General Halani Khomar. Supported by the Parani Army Air Force, Khomar's 1st and 2nd Armoured Divisions swept north and west reaching Najahafi on June 14th. Flying from the P2 forward airfield the Parani Army Air Force's Mitsubishi Ki-15P monoplane scout bombers were particularly effective, being considerably faster than the Dhimari Gloster Gladiator fighters and able to deliver their relatively light 250kg bomb load with great accuracy. It was only the introduction of ex-RAF Hawker Hurricane Mk.I's in Dhimari service in October 1940 that saw the Parani Ki-15P's require fighter escort. 3 pointsI like the Vietnam/China border war. It would be interesting to see modern jets or old ones fighting. Diego Garcia would be really limited with one airbase and so on. You would be limited to striking one airbase, and just something to make like a Range map really in my opinion.

3 pointsView File Socotra terrain Socotra 1.0 ***************************************************** This terrain is written for SF2NA and SF2 Israel. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I. Short description: Socotra is a relativly big island on the shores of the Horn of Africa. It belongs to Yemen. Socotra is an ideal position to control all shipping lines between the Mediterranian Sea and the Indian Ocean. The power who controls Socotra can easily block the oil support from the Gulf to Western Europe. Socotra is the cork in the bottle neck, like Djibouti, the Suez Canal or Gibraltar. From mid 1960th to the fall of the Soviet Union, the soviets had an airbase on Socotra. In the 1980th on the base one regiment (squadron) of Su-24 bombers was active on Socotra. This terrain is made for a scenario that the Americans must defeat the soviet forces on Socotra island. They had to operate from carrier positions in the Gulf of Aden. For all guys who love to fly Air Force planes i made a temporary american airfield in Somalia. In the timeframe, where the soviets have no own carriers the single missions are focused on Socotra island. When the soviets field carriers the terrain is mostly focused on carrier vs carrier battles. So, if you prefer carrier vs ground battles you must choose missions before 1976. After that date you will have to fight Kiev carrier battle groups. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ II. INSTALLATION: To run this terrain you need SF2NorthAtlantic and SF2 Israel or SF2 Europe. Unzip all files into your saved game folder ...ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2XXXX Thats it. Mirage F1CE (1975-1987) This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. In June 1975, with tension growing with Morocco, Spain decided to strengthen its Air Force and bought 15 Mirage F1C that were allocated to Albacete AB. In mid-1976 there was still some tension with Morocco and Algerian and Libyan MiG-25 flights on the Mediterranean, which would lead the Spanish Air Force to purchase ten more Mirage F1C and two years later order 48 Mirage F1C and F1E. F1CE_Early specifics: - no 550, AIM-9 SW instead - R530, no S530F, CLB4 - no radio-altimeter - Seat Mk4 Covered units : Ala 14, 141° Escuadron. A big thank to all on Combatace and C6 forums that helped us solving issues we encountered. Any omission in credits is totally unwanted, if I forgot somebody, let me know, I will correct this. 5P71 and 5P73 launchers for S-125 surface to air missiles for SF2 series game. This is mostly eye candy stuff. Just to improve the visual side of the game. Required weapon to run this mod is provided. In this case 5W24 and 5W27 surface to air missiles. In this pack, you will find new objects for SA-3 launchers. But no worries nothing needs to be overwritten. Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) Mostly this mod is for modders, terrain builders. Sam launchers are set to network type S-125 and S-125M. So make sure your radars are compatible. Otherwise, the radar family/network type needs to be adjusted and associated with your other SAM objects. SA-3 /S-125 family in this case. All ini files are beta....mostly to make the object working. I'm hoping someone will do correct ini edits. Only if there are still some modders around here..... So do not complain if something is not working- just edit your way. You have working lod and skins... Missiles perhaps need some more editing also. But Again this is a very basic mod and I am aware (so you should be also) that ini files should be edited further. Basic skins green and tan. All skins are in 2048x2048 format. So you have to resize for your own preferred size. So play with it, and hope someone will do better ini for this. credits: model, ini edits ,skins - me - JH. templates available upon request. regards. 1 pointI just did what you just recommanded. It's seems to work on Medium settings, so i tried some customs settings based on Medium settings: it's seems 1: the Horizon distance option set on "very far" seems to block the loading at 40% (no CTD) with the option start on the runaway (airfield). 2: the same options (Horizon Distance: "Very Far", the rest is Medium settings) but this time with the start directly in the air near the mission seems to CTD at 80%. For my actual spec: OS: Windows 10 x64 CPU: I7-8700K GPU: GTX 1080, 8 gb Vram DirectX12 Memory: 32 GB Ram Hard Drive: enough space but playing on SSD (not HDD) Thanks for the help. I will tweak the customs options settings around Medium now.

This huge and quality total conversion has seen two Early Access releases this year, one back in January 16th and the other on August 2nd. Once available to site subscribers only, now we offer an updated version of the package to all CombatACE users as our Christmas gift, regardless of a subscription. There have been usual bug fixes and important improvements since the last release. Make sure to read the change log and all the details in the mod's download page once it's approved. 1 pointAn unexpected Christmas present, thank Gepard! This is an interesting terrain for operations, very arid and open. I love the details like the earth berms around the US airfield, and the walled enclosures for many of the houses - obviously a lot of work has gone into this terrain.

A tachanka was a horse drawn wagon or cart with a heavy machine gun mounted on the back. This made it possible to deploy machine guns quickly, especially on the wide, rapidly changing, Eastern Front. It was used by Russian cavalry in WWI and by Bolshevik, White Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish cavalry in the Russian Civil Wars. Germany used a similar vehicle on the Eastern Front during WWI. My tachanka is a troika (three horse carriage) with a Vickers machine gun facing the rear. It functions in First Eagles as a Truck; drop it into your Ground Objects folder and First Eagles will assign it to some of your Armed Reconnaissance missions. The machine gun is set for AA and will fire at enemy planes that come within its field of fire. The download includes three LODs and a destroyed version. My thanks to Gepard for suggesting this interesting vehicle. Installation Instructions For both FE1 and FE2 Unzip the file and open my "GroundObject" folder. Copy the folder named "Tachanka" to your FirstEagles/Objects/GroundObject folder. Then copy the file named "TachankaDestroyed.bmp" into your GroundObject folder. Note that the "TachankaDestroyed.bmp" file should not be inside any other folder. -

P-15 and P-19 radar objects for SF2 series game. This is mostly eye candy stuff. Just to improve the visual side of the game. Pack contains early P-15 Tropa on Zil-157 bed and late P-15 Flat Face P-15M2 Squat Eye and P-19 Dunay on Zil-131 chassis. In this pack, you will find new objects. But no worries nothing needs to be overwritten. Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) Mostly this mod is for modders, terrain builders. As some radar settings need to be adjusted for proper working with your installs. Radar family/network type needs to be adjusted and associated with your other SAM objects. Also, placement on terrains might be strange sometimes because of construction of the lod. Userlist ini is very generic and not really 100% accurate. All ini files are beta....mostly to make the object working - rotate radar mast, bend etc. All stations are set as EW radar and are connected to SA-3 radar network I'm hoping someone will do correct ini edits.
