Sit rep: The 3 tiles are done now in brown and green. My initial idea to place hundrets of small houses on it does not really work. If to many houses are at one tile the game does not show the other houses. Not good. BTW: at Google Earth i found an other very small argentinian airport close to Villa Gesell. This airport i will create tomorrow.

Correction of typos and misspelling for Stary's MiG-23 pit. Plus reworked the HUD a little. All files converted to JPG to save space, it's 46mb now. Tuned for Mirage Factory MiGs, but could be used for stock ones with little tweaking. Some changes of HUD: Removed unnecessary ПР (launch authorized) marks - now it will flash only when you are actually in range Changed ОТВ (break) - now it will flash when you are too close Removed РЛ/ТП marks - they make no sense as the game doesn't support IRST. Now you will have Р (for search), З (for lock), B (for air-combat mode) Changed selected weapon display - now you will have type of weapon and amount remaining. Not really authentic but more useful Things I couldn't do: can't fix RWR - can't copy working RWR from MiG-21MF cockpit MiG-29 pit has authentic and working selected weapon display - can't copy that can't add proper IRST - game doesn't support it. tried with non-launching heatseeker missile on hidden pylon, it could lock targets but not really useful for anything else Readme inside.

..so it works. Then try this : [GunnerCanopy] SystemType=HIGHLIFT_DEVICE DeploymentMethod=AUTOMATIC_SPEED Setting[1].Angle=0.0 Setting[1].DeployValue=59 Setting[1].RetractValue=60 Setting[2].Angle=30.0 Setting[2].DeployValue=60 Setting[2].RetractValue=59 MaxDeflection=30.0 MinDeflection=0.0 ControlRate=2.0 AnimationID=9 The ModelNodeName is only needed if you want to add some aero coefficients, as drag for example (just my guess).

i´m not 100% sure but i think you have to use the actual animation slot number and you can not change it by replacing it with an other number , AnimationID=1 you have to change it to the real animation slot of the 3d model there is a way in the cockpit.ini where you can link an animation from the cockpit to the animation of the aircraft model like in the case below for the canopy , the aircraft animation for the canopy is on slot 3 in the cockpit it is on slot 1 [Canopy] Type=EXTERNAL_ANIMATION_LINK NodeName=CanopyFrame01 MovementType=ANIMATION AnimationID=1 ItemNumber=3 if you can do something similar in the data.ini i dont know
  28. 1 point
link the animation to the landing gear , or in 3ds max move the animation slots to the slot for the landing gear

A bit of history. Extract from Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/399877246768865/photos/a.783005898455996/866828416740410/?type=3 "In 1976, Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya (Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya - FAU) began to seek a replacement for its North American AT-6 trainers and to complement its fleet of Cessna T-41D primary trainers, which had been acquired in 1969. Once the Beechcraft T-34 was considered as a suitable substitute for the "tejanos", to be incorporated into the FAU inventory, these mentors were registered FAU-660 to 684. La Escuela de Aviación Militar (Escuela Militar de Aviación - EMA) I received four planes, these were registered FAU-669, 670, 676 and 677, while FAU kept two planes: FAU-650, 651, 660, 662, 663, 664, 665, 666, 668, 671, 672 and 678, all operating with Grupo de Aviación N° 1. On July 14, 1980, four mentors were acquired by Chilean Naval Aviation, namely a T-34A, serialized FAU-651, and three T -34Bs, which received serial FAU-685 to 687. In 1982, when the (Centro de Instrucción y Entrenamiento de Vuelo Avanzado - CIEVA) was created, Group No. 1 of Aviation was designated as an "attack" unit, being replaced from its T-34B by the IA-58 Pucará. In turn, the T-34s were transferred to CIEVA just created. With the passage of time, the wear and tear, the accidents and the presumed cuts passed the invoice and the number of operating aircraft decreased considerably, until the point of having only 10 planes available for training at CIEVA and EMA for mid-1989. Fortunately, the following year, through a subsidy from the Spanish Government, the FAU received one T-34A that had been withdrawn from the Air Force of that country between 1987 and 1988, and had been stored in very good conditions. These T-34A arrived by boat in Uruguay on March 8, 1991, joining FAU on April 24, with registration numbers FAU-630 to 646. In May 1992, two T-34As were transferred to Naval Aviation, these being FAU-630 and 639. After 20 years of service, it was considered necessary to modernize the EMA training fleet, so in 1999 FAU awarded a contract for 13 Aermacchi SF.260s to a company in the United States." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * In this pack, everything BUT plane´s numbers and skins are not 100% correct as the planes were used mainly as trainers. This should be pretty boring! * Anyone is allowed to use the blank skins for other skins without ask me any permission, but don´t forget to share it! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits: RussoUK - 3D work Wrench - inspiration, support and inside ReadMe text. this missile drives me crazy , i have the dimensions for it from the net , length 3,32 meters ( 10.9 feet ) diameter 0,23 meter ( 9.1 inch ) , so i made a cylinder with exact this dimension an made the missile out of it , than i added details and try to make the skin but i discovered that what ever i made it did not work there was always a mismatch with the pictures i have , so i changed the length of that missile to 3,96 meters and i was able to get everything done , but i like to have the missile with the length mention in the net , so scaled the missile just along the x axis until i got the right measurement with the result that some of the circular openings in the missile body are no longer round , but it is just a bit so i let it oval now Red Top missile , it took a long time to do this one but it is done now

Hi Torno, Very nice aircraft. About the wingfold pylon trouble, like above Cliff and Crusader mentioned it could be a pivot issue of the pylons. I guess the naval Flanker shares the same pylons like the released 27. On the bellow pic it is more visible what they are talking about. When the game applies the rotate/moving pylon constrains then it tries to maintain the Y(toward the nose), X (spanvise) and Z(vertical) pivots orientation. On the pic the pylons 90 degrees off from their correct orientation. Y axis is green, X axis is red and Z axis is blue in games default (bottom right large pivot symbol). If you un-link the pylons from the wing, apply X-form reset, that should reorient these to the correct way, then link them back and that should solve the issue you are having. Based on the picture, the wingtip missile pylons actually face toward the correct way, if you load those with missiles then with the moving/ratating pylon=true settings on the weaponstations those should stay on their correct positions in game. Using those as a guidance you can correct the other pivots without much problem. (Don't forget to save any changes before application of X-form reset). Nice bird what you guys made!

MIG-31A Foxhound The most capable Russian air defense interceptor aircraft, the FOXHOUND has a multiple-target engagement capability and was the first Soviet fighter to have a true look-down, shoot-down capability. The key to the MiG-31's effectiveness is the SBI-16 Zaslon fixed phased array antenna radar, codenamed 'Flash Dance' by NATO, which is said to be the world's most powerful fighter radar. The new Soloviev D-30F6 engine was specified for the MiG-31 in order to improve range, the key performance parameter for which an improvement over the MiG-25 was demanded. By 1987 over 150 FOXHOUNDs were operationally deployed at several locations from the Arkhangelsk area in the northwestern USSR to the Soviet Far East. The FOXHOUND is dedicated to the homeland air defense mission. The FOXHOUND carries the long-range AA-9 air-to-air missiles, and can engage 4 different targets simuitaneouly with the M-9. 3D Model (Veltro2k) Cockpit credit goes to the creator unzip ad folders to their appropiate places...have fun THIS MODEL IS ONLY TO BE DISTRIBUTED AS FREEWARE AND IN NO OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL IT BE USED, EVEN IN PART OF ANYTHING THAT IS PAYWARE.
