hi , the light is on the wrong position , you need the node name of the object the light is linked to and than it is possible to move it , but in this case i think you can only solve it with the original max file and 3ds max or you wait until my cockpits are done

Fairey Barracuda Mk.II - 5th Torpedo Aviation Division, Soviet Naval Aviation, 1945 As the war in Europe entered it's final phase, the thoughts of the Allied nations turned towards the defeat of Japan. At the Yalta Conference in February 1945, Stalin eventually agreed to Allied pleas to join them in the war against Japan within three months of the end of the war in Europe. As this deadline approached, the US and the UK (along with China) made the Potsdam Declaration - an ultimatum to Japan calling for complete Japanese surrender and that, if ignored by Japan, this would lead to the "prompt and utter destruction" of Japan. On the eve of the three-month deadline the Soviets declared war on Japan on August 7th, 1945 and at one minute past midnight on August 9th, the Soviets commenced their invasion on a broad front that included the east, west and north of Manchuria. Stalin realised that this would give him licence to win back the disputed Kuril Islands including the southern half of Sakhalin Island previously lost in the Sino-Japanese war of 1904-1905. With the invasion of Manchuria underway the Soviets commenced the 'Kuril Islands Landing Operation' or the invasion of the Kuril Islands. This was mainly a Red Army operation but was supported by the Soviet Pacific Fleet and Soviet Naval Aviation who supplied an aviation regiment equipped with 60 Fairey Barracuda torpedo-bombers. Supplied by the UK as part of lend-lease the Barracuda's were transferred to Soviet Naval Aviation from the Red Air Force who much preferred the IL-2. With little or no Japanese fighter aircraft operating in the area the Barracuda's were surprisingly effective in sinking Japanese ships in Kuril Islands area. On September 1st, 1945 the Barracuda's were used to cover the assault landing made by elements of the 87th Rifle Corps who were landed by torpedo boats, mine trawlers and transports on Kunashir and Shikotan in the southern Kuril Islands. By September 4th, Soviet forces had completely occupied the rest of the Kuril Islands thus ending further resistance. The fate of the Soviet Fairey Barracuda's is unclear but some may have been passed onto the North Korean People's Air Force as several unconfirmed sightings were made by US/USN pilots in the early days of the Korean War in the summer of 1950.

Very nice backstory! Good work mate! I must confess that after reading the title I imagined a Barracuda with Skis operating from frozen lakes in Norway.

AWESOME!!!! while im not going as in depth with the R as i will with the E, the 100th in the early 90s is one of my planned upcoming projects. between being the only old school tail (Square D) to being one of the few tanker units even outside of AMC to have nose art at teh time (heritage nose arts from WW2 didnt hurt their cause) and finally local presence during the Yugo tours of the 90s theyve been high on the list for a bit now since the models are so similar, the decal placement, template and majority skin work translates between the three well. only the engines will need major rework on the A and R and everything else will be dialled in.....

a note to the skinners out there veteran or aspiring im aiming to standardize the decals for all marking possibilties, so that provisional wings can be built up unlike fighter squadrons, tankers didnt generally deploy as one whole unit. rather units would contribute aircraft and Airmen to a provisional unit. say 3 or 8 per my goal is to have others be able to create provisional units by pulling the tga out of the folders, renaming then sticking in the new folder with zero ini dancing. hopefully i remember to whip up a video while i do ODS (sorry that will be for ODS team only to replace the old skins). the idea is easy. the execution isnt too hard....... so long as you pay attention to what you do

Toss Bombing without a computer???!!!??? What an interesting concept. Now, you all KNEW I wouldn't let the challenge go uncontested. I DO LOVE ME SOME NUKES!!!!!! So, here's the story. Using a pair of Danish F-100F's (it IS Super Sunday after all), I went in search of a factory building 197 miles away. Low & fast, through the SAM traps, (they missed....somehow) and finally.... I'm in range. The only calculations made were done mentally on the fly (so to speak), until I hit TLAR (That Looks About Right) distance. I left the numbers in the shot so you can see what I was doing on the loop/roll up & away.... And just so you don't think my aim was off, or my methods unsound, check out the bomb in the upper right of the photo as it nears the target. The results speak for themselves. You don't need a workaround for this....just a LOT of practice and patience. And it's SO satisfying when you get it right.

The model is an AN-52 whose original model was retarded, but i disabled the drogue in the options. Given the fact the bomb flew horizontally for several miles without losing altitude until crashing into a hill, the drogue animation definitely didn't work into slowing the bomb. Also, i get that yeah, practise is important, but it would be more easy with some tables

as has been shown over the last 20 odd years of this game, you don't need anything special, just practice, practice and more practice. And 'slick' bombs (I noticed the OP is showing a high drag para (balute?) so no wonder it don't work)

Its a BUG in Microprose EAW Game, even the fixed up GOG type game may crash. -Save 284MB of HD Space for the time being. (copy into your EAW directory, let it overwrite the prevous CDF file). EmptyMoviesCDF (38bytes) by VBH?. A completly empty movies.cdf file. SmallMoviesCDF (2.57MB) by -E. An alternate small movies.cdf file.

Guilty as charged. And yeah, you can do it with conventional bombs (slicks), but they aren't nearly as much fun for killing the local air cover if they just happen to be in the blast zone. Again, it's a lot of practice with different weapons until it becomes something you can do on the fly; remembering which airframe & weapon you are using. Smaller bombs, you can get closer. For the larger nukes, you need more altitude for a longer throw distance, more speed for the toss, and to immediately "get outta Dodge."

This is an interesting video. I expected to get close to the S-300 but not as close as I get in the video. It shows how stealthy game-wise the F-35C is. Now I don't think the game accounts for underwing ordnance but anyway, I make it quite close to Farid's SA-10A:

Last flight on this computer before it's retirement. Fitting that it was the Tornado, wearing (in my eyes) the best looking scheme ever fielded for that airframe.
