    I'm finally getting round after real life delaying things for too long at taking a proper look at these Tornados. First off I'm coming from the persepctive of someone who has worked on the real thing as I was an aircraft armourer for nearly thirty years and have work on all marks of UK Tornado and the associated armament equipment and ejection seats. These models are quite simply gorgeous, everything looks just right. In the cockpit I almost feel I could look up and feel the lump of the MDC if I ran my hand over it, looking out at the 1500ltr drop tanks I can see where the air has eroded the paint down through the yellow primer to the bare metal and the Sky Shadow ECM and BOZ chaff pods are right where they should be. The transition up from idle to full reheat is sublime. I shall try to actually get into learning this aircraft properly but I am sure it will not disappoint.

    RAF Thorney Island. Now located at the correct point of the map. Its a try to use a different tile for the airfield than the stock airfield tiles. So the airfield looks more camouflaged. Heavy flak fire over Thorney Island From distance the airfield is difficult to see.

    WIP screenshot. RAF Thorney Island in a very early phase. The grass runway is layed out. The C-Type Hangars are placed at position i got from the Google Earth image. BTW the new camouflaged C-Type Hangars, made by Sundowner, are difficult to see on the screenshot. Thanks a lot, Sundowner! The Hangars are great!

    This is a (by no means definitive) Weapons Pack for StrikeFighters2 WWll installs. I used Wrench's WWll Weapons Pack for SF1 (which itself was based on Bunyap's 2006 Pack) as a guide; I used 1948 as a cutoff point so a lot of stuff that was in that pack is gone. I tried to be fairly ruthless on that as I really don't see WWll continuing past that point; in my opinion it would have taken a lot of "what if" just to get there. None of this is original work on my part, I copied what I could from Killerbee's Ordnance Packll, what I couldn't find there I converted from the SF1 WWll Pack. It's more of a compilation so that most, at least, of what's needed for a WWll install can be found in one place. As usual, any screw ups are mine. Hope you enjoy it. SupGen 2/16/13

INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the ThunderstrikeS2 folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the ThunderstrikeS2 folder into your main Decals folder. 3. From the EFFECTS folder move the three 'Olympus' files into your Effects folder. 4. From the PILOTS folder move the TSRSeat folder into your Pilots folder. 5. From the SOUNDS folder move the two 'Oly' files into your Sounds folder. 6. From the WEAPONS folder move the two 'Martel' folders into your Weapons folder. COCKPIT Please note that this mod uses a slightly modified stock Phantom pit with the pilot position altered and the air-to-air modes disabled. Cockpits and Avionics are not my thing so I'm open minded to any suggestions for improvements but please note that I do like to make my mods as simple as possible so rivet counters need not apply.
