5 pointsIt seems that my question did not interest anyone. Nevertheless, I achieved some results, focusing on the DATA. INI for Ju-87 and Camel from the capun's site. Now the propeller of the fuel pump has started to rotate. Necessary additions to the CAMELF1_110_DATA. INI. as an example. Add the following line to the section [Nose]: [Nose] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ModelNodeName=fuselage_nose DestroyedNodeName= ShowFromCockpit=TRUE DetachWhenDestroyed=FALSE DamageRating=DISABLED MassFraction=0.237 HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE MinExtentPosition=-0.52,0.13,-0.51 MaxExtentPosition= 0.52,1.08, 0.63 CollisionPoint[001]= 0.00, 0.94,-0.52 SystemName[001]=Engine SystemName[002]=InternalGun1 SystemName[003]=InternalGun2 SystemName[004]=FuelPump <------------------------ this can be named otherwise, for example, Rotherham or Engine2 DetachNode[001]=propeller_shaft DetachNode[002]=engine DetachNode[003]=engine_cowling DamageNode[001]=engine_cowling Then add this item to the section // Engines: [FuelPump] <----------------------------------------------------- this line should match the name you specified in the [Nose] section. SystemType=PROP_ENGINE InputName=THROTTLE_CONTROL EngineID=2 SLPowerDry=10.0 ThrustAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 ThrustPosition=0.0,0,0.0,0.0 //ThrustPosition=0.0,1.35,0.0 //ThrottleRate=0.2 ThrottleRate=0.5 AltitudeTableNumData=8 AltitudeTableDeltaX=914.4 AltitudeTableStartX=0.0 AltitudeTableData=1.000,1.000,0.875,0.700,0.457,0.361,0.279,0.209,0.000 SpinnerNodeName=fuel_pump_propeller StaticPropNodeName=fuel_pump_propeller SlowPropNodeName=fuel_pump_propeller FastPropNodeName=fuel_pump_propeller SlowPropRPM=600 FastPropRPM=1500 MaxPropRPM=2500 IdlePropRPM=480 BSFC=0.00001 ConstantSpeed=TRUE <------------------------------------ the prop will rotate from the oncoming stream NumBlades=2 //PropDiameter=0.5 PropDiameter=0.25 and you get this: look to the right and you will see the prop on the pump spin. Looks good! P.S. Gratitude to Mue for his LODViewer!

As requested, I have made five streamer ribbons for First Eagles. The streamers are identified as fuel tanks and can be attached to weapons stations through the load out. NOTE - Since these streamers are classed as weapons, they are not animated and do not cast shadows. Installation is a three part process - you will need to install the streamers as weapons in First Eagles - you will need to change the data.ini for each plane to create weapons stations for the streamers - you will need to create a load out for each plane to attach the streamers to the plane. Full installation instructions for both FE1 and FE2 are included with the download. -

3 pointsI have uploaded the streamer ribbons. There are five different colors - Red, Green, Blue, German (black, white and red), and French (red, white, and blue). They're in the First Eagles - General Files - Weapons section. There is actually an animation built into the LOD (Animation ID 1). If anyone can figure out how to make it run, please let us know.

2 pointsVonS has gotten formations of mixed aircraft to work in single player mode, so we are going to experiment further. It was quite common for units to operate a mixture of equipment types - also, a variety of camo and markings was quite common. Test screens for the Pfalz D3a below. In the loading screen, imagine a line up of D3s with different markings and camo.

2 pointsThose streamers look great Stephen, and very pleased to see a Siemens-Schuckert D.1 in the works there too! Von S

1 pointA few more pics. of the latest tweaks to the smoke and fire effects, this time a multi-engine fire on a Gotha G.III - will roll this eventually into a ver. 9.5 of the FM packs. The effects now look more realistic I think for the WWI period and aircraft construction of that time, especially average size of fire on various types. Happy flying, Von S

1 pointYou can play with it already, feel free to create quick missions! As for an updated Desert Storm campaign, a team is being formed, and it will use this terrain. Just check the following thread: https://combatace.com/forums/topic/91614-upgrade-for-odscalling-modders-new-and-old/ You have no idea how wrong the original Desert Storm map was. This one is very accurate in terms of target locations. Also, it comes with most if not all Iraqi airbases, and there are Iranian bases as well, for the 1980-88 Iran/Iraq War.

1 pointHi Menrva I was not cutting, but using the erase tool. I am seeing this in photoshop and gimp but not paint. So on the left below is the file I uploaded, on the right is your file. I am only guessing but as there seems to be a layer of green behind the whole image I thought the program thinks the carriers can go everywhere? Cheers Snapper21
-
1 pointHi Menrva I think the problem with carrier ops is the water bmp. I am not an expert in photoshop but on the water bmps that work for me if I delete the red and black as a check I get a white background. If I do the same on the one in your folder I get a green background. TKs Iceland has a white background. I have attached the water bmp I had in the previous Libya terrain and have not seen ships on land so far. Cheers Snapper21 LibyaCM_WATER.7z

1 pointLast night made the decals and placements for the inner tails on skins of 2000 and 2013. I just finished the decals needed for all skins. Remaining is the placements of these which i am planning to do this evening. After having these, other squadrons should be easier :)

1 pointI encountered some ini problems while developing Lewis gun-armed Nieuports, so I've temporarily set them aside until we get them working right. Meanwhile, I continue work on the Pfalz D8. Some interesting shots of a replica being built in Sweden. Note the complex engine mount sitting on the table shown in the first shot - second shot shows a 100-year-old original. Youtube link shows final assembly of the plywood fuselage.

Israel 2 Terrain (ver 4.1) Targets Tweek for SF2 3/30/2015 = For SF2, Any and All (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!!!) = Some small changes as requested. This small package is to be installed OVER your existing ver 4.0 Israel 2 terrain. This is mainly for those people that have already downloaded the newest version. These changes have already been applied to the Full Terrain, for those that have not gotten it already changes for 4.1: moved Az Zaqaziq (Abu Hamed) AB Added Hulwan AB Added Mezze AB Added Al Mazza AB Retiled region between the Nile and Qaroun Lake As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's reccomended (ie: REQUIRED!!!) you read the document through after unzipping before installing. It's most important that the legal disclaimer at the bottom be read and complied with. There has been a change in policy with regards to =ALL= my terrain mods. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein
