Redrawn Lines, Rivets, etc.. for ErikGen's F-80/T-33/F-94 SF2 KAW set. Add your own paint, dirt, details and weathering. I made these templates so I could make natural metal/aluminum skins for these planes. ------------ These templates are more like WIPs. They are a bit rough and can use some improvement. They could use some organizing. I don't think I'll be doing anymore to them, so feel free to improve them in any way you wish. These templates are Photoshop .psd files at 2048 pixels. They have redrawn lines, rivets and various bits. They can be reduced for those with low spec computers. Soulfreak has released an excellent Hi-Rez RT-33A template for the 2 seater Shooting Star at 4096 pixels. ------------ If you want to make the lines and rivets darker or lighter, this template allows you to do that yourself by adjusting the opacity of the lines, rivets or any layer of this file. You can also 'Click' off any layer you don't wish to use, such as the rivets layer, if you don't wish to have any rivets. To use it you must have a paint program that reads/modifies .psd files. Then you can adjust the specular, glossiness and/or reflection entries in the skin's texture.ini file to get the skin to your liking. I use the poor mans' method of bump mapping. I don't have the needed software or skills to create real bump maps. I use two template layers: one black the other white. The white layer is below the black layer and offset one pixel up or down and one pixel left or right. Then adjust the opacity of each layer to create a 'shadow' effect. When done right it gives the illusion it's 3D. ------------ Credit and Thanks to: ErikGen for this great plane set. Wrench for all of the original skins I repainted except for the F-94 skin. paulopanz for the original F-94 skin I repainted. ------------ I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use. For any other use, please contact me first. If you find any problems with it, please PM me. If you improve it, please PM me a copy. Thanks to all who are helping me learn to skin by direct involvement and/or by inspiration. If I forget or miss anyone who deserves credit for anything I release, I apologize. I have no intent to abuse or misuse anyone's property or claim it as my own. Please contact me to correct any error. Geary -

2 pointsI did this little thingy here mostly for fun. Some of you may have heard about a Polish project of a light combat aircraft/advanced trainer called Grot 2. I decided to bring it to SF2 using the Su-54 model made by @cocas. The aircraft has some weird glitches around air intakes and one of the horizontal stabs works in the opposite direction but... it's still cool anyway. I still need to finish the skin as for now it's mostly only camo, panel lines and very basic weathering.

1 pointwhile going through my Sabre archives, I stumbled across this. I'd completely forgotten Zur had sent me this (along with his incomplete F6F Hellcat), ages ago. Meaning, he sent me the MAX files for these birds. I know there's several people (well more than I few I'm guessing) that would like to see the last Sabre in their Hangars It needs skinning, FM work, animations (possibly) straightened out. Maybe even world center reset (as the view in game is shifted forward). But the control surfaces have been cut and animated, landing gear & flaps work (oddly, not listed when seen in the LOD Viewer!!!). So, is there any 3d Guru that might be able to finish this off? I can handle most of the other stuff (skins and FM can't be too hard, if the FM is based off the F-86F) Only fully capable interested parties need apply! Let's see if we can't bring this one home!

1 pointJust thought I should let everyone know that the people behind Stage9 the Enterprise-D virtual reconstruction that got shutdown by CBS have reformed into Messy Desk Interactive. Their new project, which seems to have the informal blessing of "The Orville" creator Seth MacFarlane, is an interactive recreation of the shows titular ship. Just announced as of Tuesday, 9th July the official release date for "The Orville - Interactive Fan Experience" is the 23rd of July, 2019, 8:00 am PDT. See more links below the video. 1 pointWe are not alone I firmly believe we arent.....In my opinion we ARE aliens...if you look at life on earth...we dont fit.....we have been put here or our distant ancestors came here from a dying planet and we evolved differently to suit this planet....if you look at life here we just dont fit...evolution?...then if we evolved from apes why are there monkeys and apes still?...doesnt fit....too much stuff goes on to be false,I know people fake stuff but theres a lot out there unexplained thats quite believable... when skeptics say...show me the proof they exist...I say show me proof they dont......Ive never been to australia, but it exists...I dont need to go there to prove it...lol maybe greys are us from future coming back to get dna to help them bring back some human element to their makeup...who knows...in theory its possible....some say a craft like a saucer wont fly...if you power it properly you can fly a brick..... what Stan Friedman said made me jolly..."If you gave Columbus a nuclear sub and an unlimited budget and said, build me 3 more please..." they couldnt do it...meaning things are only done by advanced technology, when you have evolved to make that technology...we havent yet,but some one out there might have....our nearest neighbour is only 30 odd light years away?...and billions of years older than our sun...who knows how far advanced civilizations there could be....the odds I think make it a cert they are out there....maybe they are keeping quiet so as not to be discovered and attacked....we are a noisy planet and probably attract attention....especially as we are a hostile race...maybe they are watching us to make sure we dont take our kind of friendship out there....meet an interesting alien...then kill him ...thats the usual thing we do here...

1 pointHi! As long as UllyB is "on station", I'll take the liberty to answer for him. So, here are the screenshots that were attached. Apparently, the model Tu-160 is expected to be very good. Perhaps, it even more closely matches the prototype than the model by Veltro2k (in the Download section he recently published his version of the Blackjack, but with a B-1B cockpit).

1 pointObviously: Distributing SF2 content in flightgear (or any other) format is illegal. Distributing tools with the ability to convert or adjust such content is legal.*** So editors, converters, patches, scripts and hacks can be distributed, but a 3D model, binary (exe/dll) or terrain from Third Wire cannot be distributed. Same as always for digital products in general. Same as what TK wrote in 27-1-2014: "the only thing we ask is that you don't re-distribute any of our original files." *** though certain vendors try to force license agreements that say otherwise
