The Marines had been expecting to face a poorly armed militia, instead they were up against a major armoured force... The Sudanese have follow-on forces moving up, and it looks like a group of BMPs are breaking away from the main force to try to flank the Marines... And they have their own air support inbound too... To be continued...

i agree that i dont think it would attract that many more clients. But think of it from their side, it's their game and any discount is appreciated by us for the games. To me it's the best game out there and the community is what kept it alive all these years. therefore any work from their side, making it support windows 10 and further, is a new hope for the game to stay alive even longer with this great community and possibly even new members to join this community we've cultivated.

View File Buccaneer S MK1.7z Buccaneer S MK 1 circa 1963 809 sqd Lossiemouth Scotland. skin only and decals. by me Russouk2004 You need the Buccaneer-Mk50_1965 model or this wont work other files needed are there if you already have another Buccaneer, such as sound files etc. Drop into game folder..... Required files... you need to add to the Buccaneer-S MK1 folder the LOD and Distance LODS of the Buccaneer-Mk50_1965 or the proper model wont show,as the MK1 didnt have the refuel probe. files needed to be added are Buccaneer-Mk50_1965.lod Buccaneer-Mk50_1965_Lod2.lod Buccaneer-Mk50_1965_Lod3.lod Filename=Buccaneer-Mk50_1965_Lod4.lod This only a quickie and I couldnt find the whole sqd numbers... this is an as is release so hopefully you like it. cheers Submitter russouk2004 Submitted 10/06/2019 Category Buccaneer

"Strike Fighters 2 Complete Edition" free for contributors. What a nice surprise, from TK, , on this dreary Monday.

A reasonnable price given the age of the game would be around 30$. Though I don't know if this would attract significantly more clients

Buccaneer S2 masquerading as the... Buccaneer S1 !!! I know it's a bit poor, but it was mainly to share my files : ) Donwload the textures from Russouk's Buccaneer S1 conversion here : and then you could use my files with the Buccaneer S2 LODs (4 LODs to use from the Ravenclaw's FAA Buccaneer release) : SF2_Buccaneer-S1.rar And here's the link for the Buccaneer S1 serial numbers, just in case someone would create more TGAs ^^ http://www.ukserials.com/results.php?serial=XN ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you're still dinosauring in SF1/WOx (like me), here's my files for the Buccaneer S1 with the Buccaneer S2 LOD (only 1 LOD) : Buccaneer-S1.rar But you will have to convert the S1 textures to bmps (and maybe other things I forget...) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will enjoy the De Havilland Gyron Junior underpowered Buccaneer, with a downgraded cockpit Good luck... All minmaxextent positions updated, collision points, etc... Any question, complain ? PM at combatace -> Cliff7600 Thanks

if what happens is that I work in another Kuznetsov that, according to the forum rules, it is not possible to publish it, of course, your work will be much better and, for the same reason, I would like to contribute with the graphic improvements I was doing so that This model with everyone's support is the definitive one in sim. The captures are stickers that I made in vectors so I can also take them to 3ds max and extrude the shapes that stand out like the stars and the badge.

There was many words of criticism here about TK attitude... (the most deservedly ). So now it's time to say a word of thank: indeed I' ve got the link for SF2_Complete and to date I even didn't had all parts (I was missing SF2I).

I like SF2 but... Thirdwire would have been interested in its PC game future a lot sooner ! Last update... July 2013 !!! And now Thirdwire attemps to replace the concern with hope of the faithful community about the evolution of SF2.

Yep, that was a really nice surprise! Thanks TK!!

I already have a lot off sf2 down loads but this is a steal for all the stuff i dont have so i just had to buy it ...:)

That's very odd. TK should be informed about this, if the uninstaller happens to have this kind of behaviour.

To sum up, I must have messed up my Ulianovsk/fake Liaoning. I deleted it and redone the Chinese version again and it works. The tricky part is now to repaint the Flankers onboard (they are part of the carrier model). I think I'll just wait for the Proper Kuznetsov on which the Liaoning is based. As skinning is my main work here at CA, this Okinawa conversion will be a thing to play with in some spare time. If I get any interesting results, I'll share them wih you. Anyway, @Menrva thank you for some lessons on water.bmp and other related stuff.

A serious "wanna be" carrier jock, would probably have done well aboard the Furious back in 1918. @russouk2004 Thanks for posting the vid.

I got an email from Thirdwire this morning confirming that my donation will get me the Win 10 "patch" when it comes and also a key/link to the SF2 Complete edition. I didn't expect the latter so I'm happy with that even if I do pretty much have all the games and DLC - although spread across 2 email accounts.

Hope you like the new water feature. For fun, the "MidWest USA" is good what if, I also rebuild the stock IsraelME to a more geographicly correct version. "Eastern Med" (a modern rebuild of the ww2 version). And so forth ======= required screenie

Found this oddity in my skin selection for the Block I Super Hornet. It's pretty much done, as the original PSD is lost so I'll upload this skin as well.

EricJ's recent uploads of fabulous skins for the Hornets motivated me to try something myself. Far from being finished still...

Strung out across the valley floor to prevent any militia forces escaping towards the border, the Marine blocking force is at a distinct disadvantage in the upcoming engagement.. With no time to call for extraction or even to redeploy to the opposite slopes of the valley the Marines will not hold the high ground and the only option will be to try to pick off the enemy vehicles as they crest the ridge and are silhouetted against the skyline... If the enemy armour gets down to the valley floor they will be able to manoeuvre freely and bring their main guns to bear on the lightly armoured Marine vehicles.. But the Marines have air support from AH-1Ws and F/A-18Ds which will try to thin down the Sudanese forces, with the FAC firstly running in to mark targets... Closely followed by the attack birds.. This isn't going to be easy though, the enemy have brought air defence units with them.. But the Marines have a flight outfitted for defence suppression... And then the first enemy units cross the ridgeline and the battle really begins... To be continued...

On the long flight across Ethiopia the passengers aboard the CH-53E, a US Navy SEAL team, reflected that it was a little over 24 hours since they had been checking into a luxury hotel in Dubai. They had just started a well-deserved spell of R&R after a particularly intense period of operations in the Persian Gulf. Operating from Navy ships and aircraft they had been part of the protection for international shipping from Iranian aggression As well taking on the occasional covert recon of Iranian facilities.. (But that's a screenshot story for another time.) It seemed like no sooner had the SEALs checked into the hotel in Dubai when the call came that they were to be picked up and flown back to Bahrain as a matter of urgency. Transport was enroute and they were to grab their gear and head to the roof ASAP... 'Hey pilot, don't go yet. We're missing a couple of the Team that went straight to the beach to hang with some air hostesses we met on the flight down.' 'No problem, we'll pick them up on the way' A flight to Navy HQ in Bahrain, a hair-raising transit by speeding fully-loaded SUVs to the airport, and the SEALs were climbing aboard the Boeing 707 charity-chartered aid flight to Djibouti... 'Skipper, why couldn't we have just taken that flight?' ''We don't know who's watching flight arrivals in Djibouti. And in any case we're being met at the airport there for a connecting flight. that we don't need the other passengers to see. Now shut up and get some sleep. You don't know when you'll get another chance.' Turbulence shook the SEAL leader from his thoughts. The CH-53E was taking on fuel as it continued it's journey to Gondar, hub of USMC operations supporting the aid operation in-country on Ethiopia.. He opened the intel package that he had been handed on boarding the helo to find out just why he and his men had been plucked so urgently from the lap of luxury to exchange one desert battlefield for another. To be continued...

Every individual will have different opinion about this... and it was discussed here for many occasions...leading to nothing. Because doors are still closed. At some point, BMS and DCS lack some SF2 features. Depends on which cockpit. For now, the community has been tasking themselves in creating many of the cockpits. So cockpits and models can be easily solved and this is not a BIG issue. New objects in-game is not a BIG issue. your opinion. And again what is important or not will be hard to determine...For example - As for me, it would be important if the refuel mission is run from the seat of KC driver. Running a few hour mission as manager of the tanker or AWACS crew can be more challenging. Fighters are cool but at some point...boring.
