SF2 F-86L "Lima" Sabre Dog Revamp Pack 6/9/2020 "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods" = For SF2 (Any & All) = This package is designed to replace the original F-86L from the pack available from the folowing URL: https://combatace.com/files/file/10286-sf2-f-86dl-v10/ by suhjake from 2009 It is =NOT= necessary to have the original mod pack, as this =WILL= replace it in total. Everything reusable from that pack will be included with this. If you do have the original installed, you will probably wish to remove, move, or delete it. Overwriting may cause conflicts. As the Lima's were mostly used by USAF Air National Guard units, that is what's covered here. The following units are depicted herein: 146th FIS PA ANG (57-60) 190th FIS ID ANG (59-64) 194th FIS, CA ANG (58-64) 199th FIS, HI ANG (58-61) 3550th CCTW, Moody AFB, GA (late 50s/early 60s) 3555th CCTW, Perin AFB, TX (late 50s/early/60s) and a USAF Silver (Generic) -a blank skin for other skinners to use. It does have the 'day glo' panels on the wings, fuselage and tail. As only the 194th is listed in the stock squadron list ini, it uses a level=1 decal to activate the displayed squadron name on the Loading/Skin selection screen. All of the Original Skins (PA ANG, 3550 & 3555 CCTWs) have been completely redone, although they remain in bmp format. All other skins are brand new for this package. 26 all new serial and buzz numbers, where used, have been created. While correct for this aircraft; all numbers are from the late-production Ds that were converted to Ls, they should be considered 'generic' in nature. State name identifiers and squadron markings are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. All weapons, pilots, etc are included. A backup copy of the original Data ini is already provided, as this new one has many modifications and adjustments. As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... they can be accessed after unzipperizing. Please follow the 'usual instructions' Happy Landing! Wrench Kevin Stein -
2 pointsNo, unfortunately the game doesn't support JSTARS type imagery or coordination. The closest you get to "AWACS" is the occasional call by Red Crown of bogies and so on. But no real AWACS or even Link-16 style datalink.

2 pointsworking perfect now...plus AP light comes on in autopilot.. the sperry box mesh was mapped to a tga...no wonder it wouldnt work...mapped now to proper texture... speed is a split second behind game speed counter by 1knot bottom left...odd...maybe its delay in the signal...happy with that...tho SORTED...lol

2 pointsthe vehicle can be made to take off vertically and land in that position (not vertically but with the nose pointing 90 degrees to the sky), creating a false fuselage from which the entire structure would hang and this would act as an arterial train, this is what I'm still experiencing with the FW Triflugel excuse my bad English

2 pointsRAF Debden, WIP. I want to show you, how i make the airbases. First i create a temporary tile which is simply a picture from Google Earth. This will be placed on the map. From this sat picture and old WW2 air footages i can guess where the single buidlings and runways and taxiways were located. Then i place the groundobjects on the guessed position. And when all is layed out as i wish i will replace the temporary tile with normal airfield tile on the map. And so looks RAF Debden at the moment:

1 pointMe alegra ver tanto hispanoparlante por aquí / I'm glad to see so many spanish-speaking people around here Me gustaría que me explicaras más a fondo cómo lo has hecho, yo he intentado usar trenes de aterrizaje invisibles para que el avión "caiga" hasta la posición vertical en la pista pero al final se cae hacia atrás y además rebota un montón jajaja. Sin embargo, haciendo esto todo el escuadrón despega a la vez. Y tu ingles está bastante bien! I would like you to explain me in more detail how have you done this, I have tried to use invisible landing gears so that the plane "falls" into the vertical position on the runway, but in the end it falls backwards and also bouncing a lot hahaha. However by doing this all the squadron takes-off at the same time. And your english is pretty good! Si esto funcionara bien molaria tener varias plataformas de aterrizaje y despegue en lugar de una pista... como en las bases que quiere hacer SpaceX en Marte If this worked, it would be cool to have several landing/take off platforms instead of a runway... like the bases that SpaceX wants to build on Mars

1 pointwhat about 2 skids, like on the X-Wing or Y-Wing? You could put a set of rollers at the bottom of the skid, like on a Viper (original BSG series) or something like the proposed Gemini landing skids with the para-wing

1 pointTaiwan intercept Circa 1965, and the ROCAF is more curious than anything...so they went light. I don't suppose they'll be of any help if we call...considering there's no one around Given the clearance to proceed as briefed Found some PLAAF Beagles running in low over the coastline, and gave clearance to engage. Naturally, it turned into a free-for-all. Youthful enthusiasm, I swear..... But sometimes, is IS fun to just watch the show

1 pointNot everyone's idea of a Recon platform, but it's actually pretty good in that role. And it's quite good at getting out of the way of fast moving projectiles from grouchy gunners.... But she'll bring you home....
