Maybe this has been posted before, but I could find the answer using the search option. If you want to start from the ramp in a single mission. edit this line in the MSN File. Change Waypoint[01].Command=TAKEOFF in to Waypoint[01].Command=TAXI [AircraftMission001] Name=SHOWTIME AircraftType=MiG-21bisN Size=1 Alignment=ENEMY RandomChance=100 MissionType=RECON TargetArea=Bad Hersfeld ObjectiveID=5 RatingForSuccess=50 StartOnGround=TRUE CarrierBased=FALSE Position=569000.000000,557000.000000,500.000000 Heading=239.487961 Speed=207.887314 StartTime=0.000000 BaseArea=Köthen Airbase LandArea=Köthen Airbase Waypoint[01].Command=TAXI //Waypoint[01].Command=TAKEOFF Waypoint[01].Position=568081.500000,557000.000040,0.000000 Waypoint[01].Size=100.000000 Waypoint[01].Speed=202.929993 Waypoint[02].Command=DEPART Waypoint[02].Position=559147.825109,554563.392422,3048.000000 Waypoint[02].Size=1500.000000 Waypoint[02].Speed=202.929993 Notice the different "Tower" command (Tower taxi to runway 27 etc)

Last summer, I enjoyed a trip in Albania (took off from Tirana and took pictures over Durrës just 4 hours before the major earthquake that mauled the area on 21 September, by the way!) There, I visited the nice medieval Castle in Gjirokastra, which was once the National Museum of Arms during the Communist era (still contains dozens of WW2 artillery guns). And on the top of this fortress, I unexepectedly stumbled on this wreckage faded by 50 years of careless outdoor exposure. On 23 December 1957, this USAF Lockheed T-33A Shooting Star (number 51-04413) was forced to land by two or three MiG-15bis, while flying off-course over Communist Albania during a transit from France to Greece. Major Howard J. Curran claimed he planned to land anyway due to instruments failure and lack of fuel; he was relased as soon as 9 January 1958. The plane has been exhibited in Gjirokaster since 1969, as a captured spy-plane and a war trophy over the Imperialist powers. Typical Cold War era...

Menrva, the aircraft exploding on the start of the mission , or during taxi only happens on my modded Germanyce Terrain with airfields from Rends (Drewitz Airbase for example) Nellis air force base in the SWUS map works like a charm . And I don't have this problem with stock airfields. Making a separate entry for the taxi waypoint, does not change anything . Waypoint[01].Command=TAXI Waypoint[01].Position=896450.000000,774779.422852,0.000000 Waypoint[01].Size=100.000000 Waypoint[01].Speed=191.740005 Waypoint[02].Command=TAKEOFF Waypoint[02].Position=896450.000000,774779.422852,0.000000 Waypoint[02].Size=100.000000 Waypoint[02].Speed=191.740005 Waypoint[03].Command=DEPART Waypoint[03].Position=895148.481312,783947.500721,3048.000000 Waypoint[03].Size=1500.000000 Waypoint[03].Speed=191.740005 EDIT: I did make one change last night that made my mentally challenged wingman take off, but he did not use the runway. He just took of in a random direction, on unpaved ground. It was my own plane when I used auto pilot when parked on the ramp. Also pressing alt + n makes your wingman magically appear.

Pretty impressive find!! Only problem I find is that the AI keep turning and never taxi to the runway.

I suggest that you try this mod package I released: https://combatace.com/files/file/16919-speech-enhancement/ With it, you can decide if you always want to have Hawkeye or Red Crown, alternative files are provided. I also fixed some inconsistencies with the original speech audio and subtitle files.

Well, flying in FE2 always brings the modding addiction out in me so I'm currently working on a mini, ver. 9.9 update of the FM pack before I tinker with my early WW2 install for SF2. Included will be the atmospherics tweaks posted above (as well as some subtle changes to clouds), also some more subtle changes to balloon explosions, for consistency, and lockout speeds will be included for control surfaces on the following early aircraft (Caudron, Taube, Longhorn, Shorthorn, HF.20, HF.20u, Pfalz E.I, MS type G 25/45/60hp, MS type H, MS L early one-seater, MS L early two-seater, Pfalz E.II, Pfalz E.III, MS type N, Fokk. E.Ia (Parabellum), Fokk. E.II (Spandau), Fokk. E.IIa (Parabellum), MS L late one-seater, MS L late two-seater). Will also include some tweaks to the AI for the Pfalz Parasol since it sometimes tries to climb too quickly, and aileron and rudder sensitivity have been further reduced on the Alb. D.II Oeffag. Should be enough for a mini-update. FM tweaks for the Snipe and some two-seaters that I've never touched on CombatAce will follow later in a bigger ver. 10.0 update. Von S Improved atmospherics Improved mesh numbers and other entries in the flightengine.ini (will provide a mid-range and higher-end flightengine.ini) - these tweaks are particularly good for sightseeing and expansive vistas More tinkering with balloon explosions Let's not forget the observer with parachute tweak for immersion

Converting is quite easy...hard bit is redoing all the meshes ...relinking animating etc.. heres How I convert an imported 3ds or FBX or OBJ which is converted from say the .AC format...into 3ds max 1,I make sure the object is correct scale 1st...usually they are...KA50 was...BUT you need check that when imported the 3d it uses the models scale... 2,then I weld vertices usually using a small scale to make sure that vertices on small meshes arent all mixed up,and are welded correctly.. usually in 3ds or OBJ imoprting leaves modes meshes in areas of seperate meshes even single polygons...Ive had some where every single poly seperated.. PIC1 3, then I seperate the meshes...if importing 3ds I usually edit as poly and remove any extra edges added by the importer.....3ds etc tends to add diagonals to a poly...which on some curved areas causes the mesh to look ragged. PIC2 4 thats really the hardest part, then its a matter of animating, linking and exporting really PS I find FBX for max or flight studio \openflight . FLT importer tends to leave meshes as they were originally...

Will the parachute be included in your update?

Yes, indeed, it looks good. I wonder how you managed to make fluttering streamers for the Pfalz? As far as I remember, M.S. N flap streamers were an integral part of the 3d model, while Stephen1918 created static streamers.

Something about the 104 that makes this jet so special . I call the 104 And F-5 personal Jets. I have been lucky and had a flight in the back seat of a Canadian 104 In Germany. Almost got sick lol 😂

Started to rework Spillone104´s F-104S pack. F-104S ASA CB already done. Changed inis (to use stock tanks) adjusted loadout, repainted fake pilot parts, and did a complete new AMI template for the stock F-104G, new specular maps. Would be nice to have the source files for the fake pilot parts, there is a shadow (tractor beam) issue with the current parts
